I have never experienced any lost packages until the latest ones that my Mom had sent me and they happen to be VERY important packages. It was an honest mistake. The mail carrier misread a letter M for a H. I'm not sure how you could mistake a letter M for H, but it happened. Not a big deal. It was delivered to an address that was almost like mine. I called the post office near my home and talked to Eleanor. Prior to this, I had spoke to another lady who said she would past on my message to the supervisor. Apparently, Eleanor was the supervisor from Larry's post. She had no idea what I was talking about, so the lady who I spoke to, the day before didn't pass on my message. Eleanor was very helpful and immediately knew what to do. I learned that Post Office now has a GPS tracking device on every package. We were able to track down where the packages ended up. She immediately calls the person who delivers the packages and instead of telling Eleanor she would take care of it, she starts to argue with her on the phone, saying "oh I didn't deliver it...blah blah blah" So that was what happened. Eleanor said she would take care of it. I said thank you and hung up. Then couple hours later, I tried calling back to check in and the person I spoke to gave me a phone number to the "main post office" and said Eleanor is there. I called and it just rang, rang, and rang. There is definitely some kind of "fuckery" going on at this Post Office as well as the one in Buford too (assuming that is the main office). Since Eleanor had helped me retrieve the address, I found out it was only 5 minutes from my house by car. I took matters into my own hands. Drove to that house and knocked on their door. A nice gentleman opened the door and I asked him if two packages were delivered there by accident. He immediately hands them over to me and apologizes saying that he was going to deliver it back to the Post Office. My baby girl was going to get her formula that was sent by her grandma no matter what!!!!! HONESTLY, if you're reading my post, please understand that EVERY person that is PART of a COMMUNITY MATTERS. I don't care how rich, religious, or "pretty" you are. EVERY single person MATTERS. I have lost a paycheck in the mail before that I took care of it with my HR. Please think about these "little mistakes" when you are delivering packages or someone's mail. It could be a paycheck that feeds their family or as important as baby formula. I am VERY disappointed by how my problem was handled by this Post Office today. read more

In the past year dealing with this post office they've gone through my mail to steal a gift-card, and opened my mail last week that had a replacement debit card probably thinking it was a gift-card. So clearly if they feel a card in your mail they open it for themselves. I called to complain and the girl was so rude. Talking over me and pretending something would be done. I had to cancel the debit card and ask my bank to hold the replacement at the branch for pick up. Since my local post office steals from me. I wish zero stars was an option. read more

I sent a package to a customer that uses this Post Office. After the package got scanned as "out for delivery", it never got scanned as "delivered", by the end of the day. In the past, this has happened to me many times by other Post Office's; The package will get delivered, but never scanned showing delivery. I call the Post Office the very next morning, and get an employee to hand the phone to the mail carrier of that address route. The mail carrier then tells me that he did deliver my package to that address. I then ask him politely to enter the tracking number in manually, so it will show as scanned. In the past, with other Post Office's, if I was lucky to get the mail carrier on the phone, they would correct their mistake, by manually entering the tracking number to show delivered. For this situation, the mail carrier instantly hands the phone to a supervisor named "Eleanor S." This was the name she had given me. I explained the situation, she then tells me the mail carrier will take care of it. Right after getting off the phone, I wait awhile, and realize I better call back, as I did not trust this was going to get resolved like she had said. Now, she tells me, it is not going to happen. My instincts were right the first time, she never had any intention of helping me, by correcting their mistake. The laziness in this lady's voice was very apparent from the start. My place is serviced by this post office, I have more lost mail and wrong mail delivered to me than I have ever had. I have called to post master, even a formal complaint. Nothing seems to improve. read more

Man, worst post office ever, which is like saying worst case of the Ebola virus ever! Lost mail, falsifying delivery documentation, sometimes closed when it's clearly within their hours, and on and on. I used to love the reliability and promptness of Amazon's Prime delivery service, but when this PO started delivering Amazon packages, I had to write my first ever customer service complaint to Amazon and to-date, I've had six packages lost by the PO from Amazon, in 5 months, two of which they said they had "proof of delivery". Amazon investigated and discovered the PO had lost them and had marked them delivered, with a time and date, just so they didn't have to deal with it. Isn't that illegal? read more

This is twice I've had a package not delivered to my house which is absurd. You have ONE job deliver to the right address. My most recent lost package was $60 and needed by this week. It was shipped through FedEx and FedEx sent it the the usps to send out. I got three notifications that my package was delivered and it is not at my house. Now I have to wait until Monday or Tuesday to call and find my package. This is unacceptable. I want my package now. read more
