Well.... After trying first dish I had the skillet and wife had the pork chop and egg. It was tasty. The skillet was good. The pork chop was dry and a little overcooked. But still okay. Big breakfast. Definitely get your moneys worth.

Sorry but the girls serving tables are a bit clueless or should I say unaware? No service until we waved someone down. And when I sent back a dirty cup I heard them say it was just a stain. And they didn't get our order right. Now the place looks clean, cool and a great little spot, and the one saving grace was the girl behind the bar that acted like the manager who came up to ask about service when she noticed we were less than thrilled, that's why the 2 stars. Somehow spent $45 on sub par pancakes and country fried steak with sausage gravy?? Server didn't even look at us for 20 minutes and they weren't what you would call "busy". My pancakes were served on a square plate so everything went everywhere once you put syrup on them so I was sticky the entire time with minimal effort. Food wasn't what you would call awesome unless you don't know how to cook and don't know what food is supposed to taste like. Probably won't attend again. I can buy overpriced breakfast food elsewhere

Well that was 25 min for a scramble. Then they put a few orders in front of me. And finally I here please rush my order. And it comes out looking like a pos. Crap! Tastes bad looks bad. Service bad. Okay.. after eating and chilling for a minute... it did look like some ufo. Unidentified fly omelette. But it was not horrible, could have been a lot better. I get you ate busy but cmon. May rethink going back. But I like supporting local so I'll give them another shot when less busy.

What caught my attention was Phosphates. As a child the local dairy had a soda setup and served phosphates. So I had to go and check out the South Side Soda Shop. It was a blast from the past. We were seated immediately and got our drink order in. I got a cherry phosphate and water. I also ordered 1/2 lb of peel and eat shrimp and a Italian Hoagie. The cook got me extra horseradish for my cocktail sauce. They were great. The Italian Hoagie was exactly like an East Coast hoagie. Oil and vinegar with oregano. Topped with tomato, lettuce and banana peppers. It was amazing. My buddy got an orange phosphate and a Philly Cheese Steak which he loved. The service was amazing. The people were great. The place was packed. Wish it was open more often.
