A small community diner located off of old US 31 and State Road 6. This restaurant appears that it was once some type of fast food restaurant back in the day. I had the pork tenderloin sandwich with a side of coleslaw. The pork tenderloin was huge and seasoned well. The coleslaw was a bit of a mess, however, as they used extremely heavy amounts of mayo in it. After a couple bites, I chose not to finish it Service was a bit challenging at times. Portions are huge and everyone in my party seemed to enjoy their food.

They have a good balance between traditional Mexican and Tex-Mex cuisines. The cheese enchiladas are excellent (the best I've had in this part of the state since the demise of Don Pablo's in Mishawaka) made with a combination of both red or green enchilada sauce and cheese dip on top. (The only thing missing from Texas enchiladas is the option of topping them with either chili con carne or sour cream sauce.) The fajitas are also very good but definitely not Tex-Mex (or at least like any I had in Texas). But they are also slightly different from any I've had in the more traditional Mexican restaurants. I do prefer the Texas-style fajitas which are made with mesquite grilled skirt steak that isn't sliced into strips until after it's finished cooking and ready to serve, but I still enjoyed these even if they weren't my favorite. I haven't tried anything else yet but the bottom line is that this is some really good food. I live over in Elkhart and today is my third day in a row to eat here. I will return soon.

We had a hard time getting our food order straight with the waiter and it took a very long time to get our check so we could pay and leave, we were 4 people. We decided to give the place another try as the food is decent, this time with 6 of us, the waiter took our order very diligently and the food was delivered fairly quickly , again the food isn't bad. The frustration begins when you want to get your check pay and leave, the waiter completely forgot what we all ordered and didn't put it into the computer, so it became a challenge for him to remember what we ordered and without asking us what we had ( not trusting that we might remember what we had). This went on for 20 minutes while our waiter and another waiter tried to find the original ticket that our waiter wrote up when taking our order, finally after another 15 minutes they got the manager Juan involved. Juan came to us realizing our frustration and asked us what we ordered, after telling him what we ordered it took another 10 minutes to finalize our bill, no apologies were given and they nickel and dimed us on every thing, charging us for extra salsa and chips , sour cream and guacamole which should have come with the meals, not wanting to argue and just wanting to get out of there, we just paid and left vowing never to come back again, needless to say the service was not only as bad as it was the first time, it has gotten worse. When something this bad happens, not even the food can save it.
