This is the kind of small town diner I can get behind. It is certainly rich with character, if not ambience. You can tell that hundreds of old guys have been coming here at six am in the morning for years.... Our server was great. She was friendly and easy to understand and took care of us very well. A food was about what you would expect from a typical small town diner. It wasn't anything special or fancy about it, but it hit the spot. And you know it was made with some semblance of love. So if you roll through here like we did, as we were dropping our cats off at the vet hospital, you could do worse than to stop in and try your hand at a bite to eat at this place. read more

We are working nearby so all of our orders are to go. We have ordered mostly breakfast but on occasion we have ordered lunch also. Based on the responses from my co-workers I would say that the food is good. Our orders have been correct every time. Which is quite amazing in itself given we order for upwards of 10 people. The smash burgers are good. Breakfast is good. Especially the stuffed French Toast. Wouldn't know what to say about the ambiance other than the place is always busy when we pick up the food. While staying at Thor's Wakarusa repair facility we opted to eat local. Good choice. Breakfast was fresh, ample, & tasty. Omelettes n shared pancakes. Fluffy eggs n the fruit substitute for potatoes was superb- fresh, chilled, good variety n ample. Only improvement I would suggest is fixing up the joint. It belies a great value tone had. read more

This place is a diamond in the cow pastures. Holy. Moly. We came in mid day for some breakfast. Wait staff was great, food was absolutely delicious. "This is the best food I've had since we moved to Indiana." - my wife This is the kind of place we've been looking for. Old school diner feel: it even had that "diner smell" when you walk through the door. Brought me back to my childhood. While coming back from Fort Wayne my friend and I were looking for a mom and pop type Restraunt. We found this Restraunt. The place was closing soon so we ordered the Chicken Baha soup. Since they were closing soon they gave us a bowl instead of a cup which was nice of them. The soup was very good and had a kick to it. I also ordered the sizzling Chicken Fatija which had a wonderful taste and the portion size was big for the money. My friend and I will be back again. The staff was wonderful and did not rush us out. Do not let the building or the American menu fool you: this place has the best pico de gallo I've had all summer, and I've been to at least 25-30 different Mexican restaurants. They don't have Mexican food on the menu, but if you ask them, they will make you anything! They made the pico fresh and even fried the tortilla chips fresh. They were absolutely delicious! They have shrimp, ground beef, and chicken tacos, and I had the shrimp and the chicken. They were very good! They also have burritos and fajitas, even though none of that is on the menu. Our waitress said they have chicken enchilada soup on Fridays, but to get there early because it goes fast! My husband had the fried fish and it was very good, too. If you want diner food, they have a very big menu. The people were exceptionally nice and helpful, and we will definitely go back! read more
