So my husband and I are moving to Portland and we reserved a large 26 foot U-Hal. We bought insurance and everything for it. We got a flat tire/ blow out and went to our closest U-Hal location, They were unaccommodating, and very short. We then had to come to the West Sac location to see what our options were. Elijah was working and was EXTREMELY helpful, kind, and had some of the best customer services skills I have encountered, anywhere. he is truly an awesome person and employee. We were able to get ahold of corporate U-Hal with Elijah's help and can't thank him enough. Luckily U-Haul was able to get us someone to come fix the blowout. We are now waiting for that service. Hopefully our move plan will stay the same due to the calmness and accommodation provided by Elijah. Thank you again for the help this evening,

Very unprofessional service, I came here 15 mins before closing and the 2 people that worked there, male and female, (one with a white Honda and one with a grey Lexus) literally closed the door on my face.Most likely because they didn't want to deal with a return super late and didn't want me to interrupt their very important conversation they had going on. Great customer service, highly recommended

I was able to pick up/drop off U-boxes on my schedule!

He refused to hear out the issue. Pushed his excuses and already decided he wouldn't care less. He had a final say. He had no interest in listening, didn't even try. It was very clear wasn't wanting to hear any of it and have already decided it's a null situation, discarding my issue. As a result, I asked to speak with someone else. He said there is no one else. Pretty much, so sad too bad. It is what it is. I asked for his superiors name. He refused. After I told him I would contact corporate, he wrote a number on my receipt and said to call his boss there. I asked for a name. After some back and forth of refusing to, he wrote the name. I asked him to please call his boss. He said his boss doesn't answer and is busy. I went to my car to get my phone, went back into the mart, called the number in front of him and it ranged on the lan line phone next yo him. He found it amusing and walked off to the back room. Lots of words interchanged throughout, but to sum it up, terrible experience. Pat who was left at the register said Raj would be in on Friday and she will let him know if she sees him. She also said I could also come back to talk to him then. Now that's wasn't so hard was it PAUL? Thanks Pat. I've been a loyal Chevron customer for over 30 years. I am a repeat customer day in and day out because this location his around the corner. It's been my go to Chevron for the last 20 years. I usually just gas and go at the pump and continue to do so throughout the pandemic and during inflation. Today was the needle that broke the camels back. I don't often go inside but each time,it's been a poor experience. I regret thinking things can change. Not if you're always hiring the wrong folks. It doesn't take much to be courteous. Read the Yelp reviews. Seriously need to consider customer service and people oriented folks to do the job. Then will patrons be willing to come and possibly pay your high prices because a great experience is what drives people back. The lack of will only drive away. This place is a disappointment. Avoid if at all possible. There's so many other gas stations who value you business.

Today was an intense day. When it was time for breakfast my husband went for the milk for his brand…read moreflakes and it came out warm. He checked the freezer and the ice cream was soft. Not good signs. He turned up the thermostat on the fridge and freezer in hopes to buy us some time. By the time I got down there for breakfast the milk was still warm, but the fridge kicked on, I was hoping it would start cooling down. By lunch time the tempeture was dropping. That's a good sign and bought us some time. When my husband told me this morning that the fridge was on fritz I immediately jumped on Consumer Reports and paid for a subscription. Once there I immediately clicked on refrigerators. They have all different categories: French Doors, Side by Side, Top Freezer, Bottom Freezer, Cabinet lengthy, and ones with no freezers. So many to choose from. It would have been so much easier if we could just rebuy the one we had. It's a good one, it lasted around 12 years. I personally like our side by side so I went to work researching them and picked out 4 that were top rated 74 down to 67 on Consumer Reports. I also looked at the French doors, but only one of them had water dispensers and the freezer space was less. I first got online and looked at our local hardware store, but wasn't able to find the ones I was looking for by their model number so I went onto Home Depot's site and was able to pull up two of them. Two is better than none so we headed to Home Depot in hopes they had them in stock. When we got to Home Depot I presented the print outs of the two I found online and they were both in stock. The showroom was packed with so many options. Thankfully J'Leesa walked us to the ones I printed out. Both looked nice, but the one had the Craft Ice Maker and that took up extra freezer space, so I passed on that one. We don't really need giant ice balls, it's not like we're having whisky on the rocks every night. We also looked at the French Doors one and he agreed with me, they lack freezer space. Not that we have a lot in our freezer, but it would be nice to have the space if we need it. We do stock up at times when meat goes on sale, so we need that extra room. We chose the GE 25.3cu ft. Side by Side Refrigerator in Fingerprint resistant stainless steel, Standard Depth. It's the same one they sell at Costco for the same price, Home Depot says it's $900 off, but to me that's the standard price. They have it in stock so we scheduled it for delivery on Thursday. That is if all goes well and they will take away our other one free of charge, just like Costco would have. The only different is we only have a 48hr window to commit to it after that it's ours, that makes me nervous. Maybe I should have gone with Costco as they have an easier return policy, but we'll see. I'm hoping for the best with this purchase. We also got the 5 year protection plan. I'm not exactly sure what that entails, but it's better than nothing. This process too around 4 hours. 2.5 hours researching and 1.5 hours in the store. I'm really hoping and praying that we made the right choice as this is one of those "BIG" purchases that hopefully will last us 10 years and not the 5 years Consumer Reports says it will last.

Van in millwork is the most helpful employee I have ever encountered in any home improvement store…read more I'm in the middle of a full house remodel and he made my experience of shopping for all new interior and exterior doors as painless as possible. Unfortunately I wasn't able to place my order with him due to time constraints for ordering custom doors. I highly recommend him if you are shopping for any millwork or doors. He was a really nice guy and took his time to make sure I understood my options.
