PAUL PAUL PAUL.... Don't expect nothing but a cocky self centered egotistical individual who lacks any customer service. Went in with a complaint regarding the car wash. He refused to hear out the issue. Pushed his excuses and already decided he wouldn't care less. He had a final say. He had no interest in listening, didn't even try. It was very clear wasn't wanting to hear any of it and have already decided it's a null situation, discarding my issue. As a result, I asked to speak with someone else. He said there is no one else. Pretty much, so sad too bad. It is what it is. I asked for his superiors name. He refused. After I told him I would contact corporate, he wrote a number on my receipt and said to call his boss there. I asked for a name. After some back and forth of refusing to, he wrote the name. I asked him to please call his boss. He said his boss doesn't answer and is busy. I went to my car to get my phone, went back into the mart, called the number in front of him and it ranged on the lan line phone next yo him. He found it amusing and walked off to the back room. Lots of words interchanged throughout, but to sum it up, terrible experience. Pat who was left at the register said Raj would be in on Friday and she will let him know if she sees him. I am a repeat customer day in and day out because this location his around the corner. It's been my go to Chevron for the last 20 years. I usually just gas and go at the pump and continue to do so throughout the pandemic and during inflation. Today was the needle that broke the camels back. I don't often go inside but each time,it's been a poor experience. I regret thinking things can change. Not if you're always hiring the wrong folks. It doesn't take much to be courteous. Read the Yelp reviews. Seriously need to consider customer service and people oriented folks to do the job. Then will patrons be willing to come and possibly pay your high prices because a great experience is what drives people back. The lack of will only drive away. This place is a disappointment. Everyone else at this location is great. The cashier named Gurdeep is a tool. I only come here because it is the closest Chevron to where I live. He's constantly on his phone, listening to music, and not paying attention. I've never cared because I am here for gas; I'm not here to be friends with a cashier. Today I asked him how I come back to get air because customers getting gasoline are given free air/water without the fee. He turns to me and starts getting upset, saying something like "listen buddy I am so busy you speak you speak I am busy you speak I don't know". Do your job properly. Maybe I got them on an off day when things were not working right at the car wash, but here's how it went down: I pull up to the car wash and put in my my wash code I hear the attendant come on the speaker, he says,"Hello?" Me: Yes? Attendant: What? Me: What's going on? Attendant: What do you need? Me: I did not ring you, all I need is a car wash. Attendant: You pushed '8' Me: Ok, well it's part of the code I put in, I didn't mean to get you on speaker. Attendant: What? You pushed '8' Me: Never mind Attendant: Wait, I'll be right there. Me: Ok So the attendant comes out the back door and does not come to me but stares blankly at the car wash. Me: Did I do something wrong? Attendant: What? Me: What did I do? This Chevron is like most of the other ones!! They all seemed to be owned by the same family!! But this Chevron has SYLVESTER!! He's very nice & efficient!! He always has a big SMILE!! He always says hello and good bye!! For the most part the actual gas pumps are clean and the window cleaner usually has soap & paper towels. Stay away from pump 4!! The clerk was really nice, which is always a plus. The store and the outside were clean. The gas is expensive, but I expect that from a Chevron. The worst part for me was the coffee bar inside. This is where this gas station lost some points. First of all, they were out of like 3 kinds of brewed coffee and it was 8am on a Sunday morning. Second, the coffee they DID have brewed tasted bitter, which means it wasn't brewed properly. The service was exactly like other Yelpers been saying. They didn't greet, they didn't even care to say hello while we wish them a merry christmas. The cashier kept looking at us like we were suspicious. That's how they made you feel. I get off of work late and I come here every night after work and in the past year there is a new employee by the name of SYLVESTER!!! He is very rude!!! He never greets, never says thank you. I have worked in customer service since I was a teenager and still do. I could never see myself give any customer attitude. If I could give zero stars I would. Chevron is fine. However the extremely rude Indian lady at the register treats customers as if customers are all beneath her. I kept trying to tell her that the pump screen was locked up and she insisted that I was wrong. All she would do is look at her screen inside and say "this tells me it works". This is the last place to get Chevron gas in West Sacramento. The prices are always higher than other Chevron stations around Sacramento. I have found the customer service to be fair, the people do need training on how to smile and greet customers. I sense an attitude of entitlement and I'm doing you a favor, yes the lady who works here deserves a kick in the behind. The station is clean on the grounds and restrooms. They also have propane on sight, just have to be a little persistent in asking. I much prefer the Chevron located at the end of Capitol Ave. , just before you get on I-80E. General note: If all gas stations in West Sacramento would not place political banners on their property during an election, it would make "the doing business with you experience much nicer", really a complete turnoff in 2014. read more

WORST GAS STATION EVER!!! Went to pump gas and when I heard the trigger stop, I thought it was the pump on the other side so I didn't get out to check mine. Finally, when I noticed that it was "pumping" too much gas for my car, I got out to check. The handle was down and the machine kept running!! No gas coming out, I took the handle out of my car and the machine was still running! I put the handle back into the pump station and it finally stopped running. Went in to complain and the cashiers said no one complained about it all day except he knew I was already complaining about pump #1 ?!
