I told my husband about it and he already knew it wasn't the best deal around. I should have asked first, but he wasn't in the car with me. The casher was really polite and helpful. I paid with cash to save a few cents, at least I think I saved. I didn't look at the card price. It's usually more so I think I saved some. When the cashier gave me the receipt he pointed out there was code on it and I would need to enter the code on the pump to activate the pump. That was a first for me. I wonder if that means that I don't need to give them the actual pump number as there is a code attached. I gave them the pump number so I'll never really know. Good to know for next time that this isn't the best deal around. It's not even convenient for me so this is good to know. In other towns the truck stops usually have the best deal around. So, I'm not totally off my game. There are lots of pumps and when I went there was no waiting so that was good.

He refused to hear out the issue. Pushed his excuses and already decided he wouldn't care less. He had a final say. He had no interest in listening, didn't even try. It was very clear wasn't wanting to hear any of it and have already decided it's a null situation, discarding my issue. As a result, I asked to speak with someone else. He said there is no one else. Pretty much, so sad too bad. It is what it is. I asked for his superiors name. He refused. After I told him I would contact corporate, he wrote a number on my receipt and said to call his boss there. I asked for a name. After some back and forth of refusing to, he wrote the name. I asked him to please call his boss. He said his boss doesn't answer and is busy. I went to my car to get my phone, went back into the mart, called the number in front of him and it ranged on the lan line phone next yo him. He found it amusing and walked off to the back room. Lots of words interchanged throughout, but to sum it up, terrible experience. Pat who was left at the register said Raj would be in on Friday and she will let him know if she sees him. I am a repeat customer day in and day out because this location his around the corner. It's been my go to Chevron for the last 20 years. I usually just gas and go at the pump and continue to do so throughout the pandemic and during inflation. Today was the needle that broke the camels back. I don't often go inside but each time,it's been a poor experience. I regret thinking things can change. Not if you're always hiring the wrong folks. It doesn't take much to be courteous. Read the Yelp reviews. Seriously need to consider customer service and people oriented folks to do the job. Then will patrons be willing to come and possibly pay your high prices because a great experience is what drives people back. The lack of will only drive away. This place is a disappointment. Avoid if at all possible. There's so many other gas stations who value you business.

If you've purchased fuel in the past decade or two, it's had the same policy, albeit ATM fees have increased. I've never purchased "bad fuel" from any ARCO. Maybe it isn't the greatest ever, but it seems to keep my cylinders firing properly. Haven't ever had an issue with ATM transactions either.

They do still have hot food inside- when we visited they had a variety of egg rolls but apparently you need to stop in earlier in the day for cinnamon rolls. It's a bit tight inside, but they pack a good amount of drinks and snacks in, including some that I haven't seen in other places. When we visited the same person as running the food counter and the regular purchase counter, so you'll need to let someone know if you're looking for the hot food. Since they were out of cinnamon rolls, we ended up buying a couple drinks and some candy- we found Squashies here. The Apple filled was maybe a notch below, but still fantastic. Ham and Swiss croissant reheated quite nicely and was a great savory bite.
