2021 Q5 hybrid. Hid the roof antenna on my garage door while backing out. Remarkable amount of electronics in there. The roof panel to which it was attached had to be replaced. Although the repair took several weeks, the work was done perfectly. All the electronics work as before, and you can't see where the repair was done. I can't recommend them too highly. read more

Horrible Experience... I took my Black 2019 AMG GT 53 (Brabus 500 "Brabus Kit Style") into their shop for rear end damage to diffuser and bent exhaust, through an insurance claim that I was not at fault. *I will not account for the separate nightmare I went through insurances and lots and back and forth,* Therefore, this review is reference to the aftermath where funds were available for repairs to be initiated and my car is still in the shop. My vehicle has been sitting (outside in the sun and constant rain) since June 24th and still waiting on re-assembly until now (September 3rd, 2024). To mitigate boring you of ALL the details these are the items to consider when bringing your vehicle: ***Lack of communication via phone/email - I literally called everyday for a few weeks chasing down for an update and or status. Kudos to Kathy (Front Desk) for doing her best to keep me posted in the absence of a getting a call back from Todd Traxler (Service Rep) and/or Manager Ian. ***Lack of caring for high-end vehicles - My Black AMG GT 53 with Ceramic Pro has been sitting outside through high temperatures and rain for more than two months, to the point that carbon fiber parts had been affected. ***False expectations/time frame - Completion had been delayed two times already since June and have tried to excuse themselves by being understaffed and/or having busy schedules, being on vacation, or being sick. *** Price with service alignment - Given the high pricing in labor they charge, you would expect a top notch service; however, I did not see any of that. In conclusion, I have been without a vehicle for 3 months (since collision) and have been extremely patient with the process, but now I am deeply disappointed in how my vehicle has been handled by the shop. I do not have anything against Todd Traxler, as he maintained his professionalism throughout my frustration and "seems" to be doing everything in his power to help out. However, the lack of communication, lack of vehicle care and continued false expectations led me to leave this review, and believe that this is a common practice in this shop. SLIMY COLLISION CENTER - BEWARE FOLKS - Not worth going into the many details here on my collision repair and insurance claim through State Farm. Just trust me, this place is very slimy. when i decided to move the vehicle to another collision specialist, they charged me $200/day for "storage" and more for "admin" fees and more for "labor" to take vehicle apart for the insurance estimate. Had multiple insurance and collision center people later tell me "not sure how that place is still in business" with how horribly they treat people and "what they get away with" . Basically this is the collision repair equivalent of a PHISHING. scam, slimy practices, slimy customer service rep. I feel stupid and completely taken advantage of - feel like i just bought a time share and now i am finding out about all the fees they are going to charge me to get out of it. read more

No response after dropping off a car for a damage estimate. The estimator said they would have the estimate back in two days. Then no response after sending an email and phone cal. No followup, no estimate, then they could not find the paperwork for the estimate after a week. One they found the paperwork their explanation was is it is common for them not to get back to customers due to how busy they are. read more

A bad driver dented the side door of my Mercedes, so I took it to Tysons Corner Collision. The preliminary estimate was based on an attempt to pull out the dent - but when they looked inside the door, discovered the steel reinforcing beam was cracked - causing a safety issue for an aluminum-skinned car (I would never have discovered). They sourced an OEM replacement door and repainted it to the same color (used a multi-specter camera to develop precisely the same paint shade). A perfect job. This is likely the most professional collision center in the mid-Atlantic region. They are certified and only work on Mercedes, Porsche, Audi, and Bentley autos. Recommend asking for a walking tour of the shop - modern, clean and they treat their people like professionals. New Gen Mgr has been recruited Ian Martin - easy to talk to. read more

Headline: BEWARE OF THE TRAP Pros: OEM certified (Audi) shop so assume work will be good. Location is convenient, facilities are clean and modern. Cons: The trap. Let me explain: took my Audi A6 after someone hit my bumper in a parking lot. Before they look at the car to build a supplemental estimate, they asked me to sign a doc stating that I acknowledge that their labor costs might be higher than insurance companies will pay for. I figure it it might be a couple hundred bucks, no biggie. Until I get their estimate for fixing a broken bumper: over 14K. FOURTEEN THOUSAND for parking lot bumper damage? Absurd. Thankfully my insurance covers most of but I'm still on the hook for $2K since I signed that paper. If I pull the car to take it someplace that lives on this planet, I will owe for their diagnostic labor and storage fees while they took 2 weeks to look which guess what, is about $2K. I expect them to do good work and I can take the hot but am warning anyone to beware of this place. They will tell you they disclose everything in the doc they ask you to sign but what they don't tell you is their costs for any body work are orders of magnitude higher than the other guys. read more

I would leave "0" stars if I could. If you even have a SLIGHT piece of common sense or half a brain, you will run the other direction! Many of the one and two stars that you see are 100% accurate; and I wish I would've read them before letting MBUSA choose them as my repair shop (for the sake of my warranty). My car sat with them for over a year...I thought it was just me, but after reading some of the reviews, it's just the way that they do business. My repair Advisor Erick Cosme was amazing (he was probably fired because he actually did the right thing, but he was conveniently "moving on"). If you blindly decide to do business with them, keep all of your documentation, and complete an FTC claim. Both with the state and federal government. Trust me. I will also recommend adding a message with BBB, which I will be doing next. They are not accredited with them, but we can still see what's there. If I knew I was conducting business like them, I probably wouldn't get accredited with the BBB either. The manager there responded to my claim stating that my information was inaccurate, but I have all of the email correspondence to everything he "attempted" to counter. He got involved at the END of my workings with TCCC and MBUSA. So even the things that he "claimed," I have receipts for those too...all of the "misinformation that he claimed I have, I have the emails from his employees to confirm. Please, please, PLEASE...if you value your vehicle...PLEASE...I would highly advise that you take your vehicle somewhere else. My involvement with them is incredibly long, anyone looking for details and specifics, let me know and I will fully divulge everything...with receipts and insights that the manager missed. And I am STILL waiting for all of the communications/reports regarding my vehicle from Tysons, that MBUSA said the manager would provide me upon receipt of my vehicle...still waiting... All in all, MBUSA paid for my repairs and to have my vehicle sent back to me, but that was the LEAST they could do (if you know the details)...again, if you reach out to me, I can give you details. The details can paint the bigger picture of the type of fraud TCCC is committing. If MBUSA was smart, they would NOT allow TCCC to be a certified repair shop that customers must use in order to keep their warranties. Go to BBB and the FTC...Godspeed. read more

I called Tysons Corner Collision to have my car repaired. I'm a returning customer and they've done a fairly decent job in the past. I made an appointment, and then received a call back from the shop so that they could cancel my appointment. I was told that they would not help me because my car is "too old" for their fancy shop. I have a 2010 Audi S4 that I keep in immaculate shape, however they made me feel like I would be disgracing their shop with my old jalopy and that their time was far too valuable to work on my car. I spoke with the manager and stressed to him the value of a returning customer and showing loyalty to your customer base, but was dismissed out of hand. This was a shocking and hurtful and I can't in good conscience recommend a shop that would discriminate against someone just because of the model year of their car. I have customers, and I show them respect and loyalty. Tysons Corner Collision is obviously too good for those base tenets of business. They wasted my time and they'll waste yours too...unless they think you're good enough to help. read more

This has been the most frustrating experience I've ever had when dealing with vehicle repair. It has been 1.5 months so far and still don't have my car back after bumper and grill damage. They estimated my vehicle to be ready to pick up tomorrow, however they added an additional $460 due to part cost differences. Now, we have to wait for the insurance to get back to them which will likely take another 1-2 weeks.......... My brother had similar damage to his Mercedes and his repair at a different collision center took 1 week; so the amount of time it's taking to get my car back is unbelievable. I don't know what's more frustrating, the fact I had to chase people down for rides after my rental coverage ended, the fact I had to chase people down for an update on the car, or the lack of communication with my point of contact at the center. I received 2 emails in the span of this 1.5 month process thus far and I initiated the phone calls the other times. They didn't even contact me to confirm a pickup for tomorrow or to let me know about the additional cost until I called them inquiring about the pickup time....At this point, I'm so up to my ears with this place, I never want to return here again after my car is returned to me. I was sent here by recommendation of the Mercedes Benz dealership in Tysons and will be making them aware of my experience so customers aren't sent here. read more

I have chosen Tysons Collision Center simply because they are connected with the Mercedes Benz dealerships, technically owned by Penske. With a "good faith" that they would provide the best service in the name of authentic brand, the worst nightmare one after another. The total cost for the restoration was almost $28k, taking 3 months and 10 days. When I picked up the car, they said "you got a brand new car again...., please pay for your deductible..." The guy walked me to the car and acted like nothing happened. There was a crack on the windshield from the top to the bottom. I had no choice but to drive the car home and wait for an answer. The appraiser from insurance denied it as a part from the accident. Obviously we all know it happened during the process of restoration due to the heat. They asked me to file a separate glass claim, wait for them to order the glass, then drop off the car, and also paying for another deductible. I took my car here over 2 weeks ago and they have sat on my car making "supplemental tickets to over $15k. I scraped against a small yellow post at the gas pump going 4 mph. The first week I gave them a pass for it being a pandemic but after making several calls to them and adjuster I realized they are in the business of price gauging individuals who drive luxury vehicles. In short don't patronize this company unless you want your car in there for 2 months for minor damage. Just got an email asking if they can start now ???, I think it's why I brought it there wth!!! Oh and yea it will take another 3-4 weeks to repair. ***updated 7 30 20.... got my car back 7.17.20. So I will not be responding to Tim's reflection of accountability but I will say front desk and General Manager Mike T. were and are extremely professional. Mike took the time to reach out and get to the bottom of the situation. He was accountable for his employee Tims lack of customer service and made me think again about using their services. I would definitely continue to patronize Audi of Tyson's but not the body shop. While I know things happen and we all make mistakes we must be accountable for them. I believe the employees and Mike get this and execute this well. I appreciate this and because of this I'm updating my review from 1 to 3 stars. I'm downgrading my review. Avoid this place and don't let them fool you with high end cars in their ads. I took my Mercedes Sl 550 here for body work. It took them over 3 months to fix a minor front end damage. They started including all sorts of items in their estimate which had nothing to do with the estimate. To make a long story short after waiting 3 months for the repair, I ended up having the car over heating and the passenger window no longer had a tight seal so if it's raining I'm having leaks. The service department at Mercedes told me that I apparently had auto body work and the front parts of the repair blocked the thermostat so the car heated up and the coolant pipe busted. On top of that I will need repairs done for the passenger window since it no longer closes fully sealed. This is no joke please please avoid. The repair for the thermostat cost me $1488 but. It worth my time to take them to court. All I can say avoid please. The folks that are giving positive reviews are folks that got other items fixed outside of the actual incident. Which is what I did with my initial review. Actually my first review was negative but after they said they will include other items to the insurance claim I gave the a positive review. Now I'm downgrading their review and I deserve what I get for dealing with this business. Please stay away. read more

I rarely write negative reviews but based on my experience here in 2017, I would not recommend taking your vehicle here for repairs or service. I took my car here after it was broken into, resulting in a broken window and damaged headliner. In total, the repair took 6 weeks. Tyson's Corner Collision seemed to have no sense of urgency and had endless reasons for delays. I later learned that they did not order several key parts until over 2 weeks after I dropped off the vehicle, exacerbating my delays. After a month, when my insurance rental coverage expired and I had to pay out of pocket for rental vehicles, Tyson's Corner Collision offered no assistance or compensation despite the delay being caused by Audi. Throughout the experience, I very much felt like the management at Tyson's Corner Collision treated me like a number, did little to mitigate the delays, and offered nothing to keep me as a customer or show me appreciation. To add insult to injury, when I finally received the vehicle back, they had not filled it with gas and my car had only 3 miles until Empty. I almost ran out of gas finding a station to refuel. I will say that, despite my frustrations over a seeming systemic lack of customer service, I found my primary case manager, Nabia Pirzada, to be very responsive. While she was unable to fix the situation, she was at least responsive to my concerns and elevated them to her management when appropriate. read more

I heard that they were slow but MANNNNN this shop moves like molasses. I've had to reach out many times for updates and when I do get a response its something else wrong. I have them a brand new vehicle (like less than 6 months new) and literally every time I reached out, it was something else wrong. They never contacted me for any of these updates, I had to ask! I still don't have my vehicle and it is going on a month now. I can never Get a concrete pick up date. I had an alert with low air pressure in left rear when I gave them my car after a minor fender accident that wasn't my fault. it wasn't until over a week later they said a nail was in it and it wad flat..ok fine. said it was 398 for a new tire. THENNNNN over a week after THAT say another tire was flat with another nail so now they're saying I need TWO new tires...800!! I say I will get new tires else wear bc that's ridiculous. after I reach out AGAIN, they say the fender is fixed but now it needs new parts bc it failed alignment. WTFFFFF???? this is a brand new car and its been in their possession for almost a month. I am VERY unhappy. the mechanic keeps removing my insurance agent from email communications so its just all very sketchy. I will never come here or recommend any one to get serviced here. A MESS (updated 11/6 - picked up car 11/4) Experience was slow and unprofessional. It took a month for me to get my car back. I took my car here because someone hit my fender - nothing honestly too crazy. Timothy Pfeifle claimed that I had two nails in two tires (I had only one - I got it checked right after) and tried to charge me 398 x2 (796) for two new tires. Claimed that the nails could not be patched but I took them to a shop right after I picked my car up from here and got it fixed for $10 in 15 minutes. Had so many communication issues with Timothy with removing insurance from email lines, discrepancies with fees to be paid - never gave a timeline for when things should wrap up - just overall a terrible experience. After fixing the fender, then came the "tire issues" which I told them don't do bc I just felt it was a scam (& I was right) and then the vehicle fails alignment after 3 weeks of being in the that shop and needed MORE new parts. I have no idea why MB recommends this shop. It is full of slow, scammers. I would never give this place business again and highly recommend anyone else against going here. Rip offs, liars & kings of sabotaging others. I got in an accident and had major damage on my 2016GLC found this place as the MBUSA certified shop. Had Geico tow to them and went to get an estimate. Sean was assigned to me , OMG, before he even look at my Car he started lying about almost everything. Geico 1st estimate was $9K, and Sean promised that he can't match that and it will be way more out of pocket. Geico advised me to take it another shop in Arlington. When I released my car from these rip offs, Sean calls me again, now trying to keep the job, he sabotaged the other shop. He said: " They are liars, they put After market and provide papers stating OEM, their shop is dripping water from the ceiling, they are shutting down, they are being sued, they do illegal transactions, they don't buy parts from MB...." went on and on, I told him they will match Geico with all OEM, he went off again. He admitted that he gets over 20% on parts from MB and he marks up almost 300%. I am glad I didn't listen to this liar. Oh ya btw, the job ended up to be 20K. So should I have went these guys, I could have paid more than 5K out of pocket. I understand you are in Tysons and you wanna make money and you are used to rip people off, it is ur choice, but it is not ok for you to lie to people and trick them in order to rip them off during their hard time and sabotage others when you end up being the liar. DO NOT use this shop. You just CAN NOT trust them. Just got my car back today from American Service Center Mercedes of Arlington and yes they are MBUSA certified and they are amazing. On Thanksgiving Eve, I have to say I am extremely grateful for Tyson's Corner Collision Center-- especially Shaun and Chris. This review started out as a maybe 3-star because my Mercedes took much longer than expected for a rear end repair that was expected to be semi-quick. There was a bit of a struggle with communication between my insurance, Tyson's Corner Collision Center and myself. I ended up being without my car for about two weeks and had to partially pay out of pocket for my rental. The time estimate on my car was continually unknown. Obviously upset by all of this, I put pressure on both my insurance and Tyson's Corner Collision Center; Shaun was my Collision Consultant and Chris is his manager. I spoke with both Chris and Shaun yesterday and let them know as politely as I could that I was angered by the situation and flat out could not afford to be without my car any longer and that I needed answers and my car to be ready today due to the holiday tomorrow. Yesterday evening Chris let me know that he would get with Shaun and figure out a resolution and call me back before the end of the evening, which to my surprise he did about an hour later. I was able to pick my vehicle up this evening as well as leave the rental at Tyson's Corner Collision Center. The wait was worth it-- my car looks just like it did before the accident-- pristine. Shaun and Chris were extremely helpful and accommodating and Shaun walked me through start to finish what was done to my vehicle and gave me some advice on questions I had about the car. Shaun truly went above and beyond this evening to have my vehicle ready and I am truly grateful because he could have just as easily told me "tough you-know-what", it'll be done when it's done. Although it was windy, wet and freezing outside, Shaun took the time to go around the vehicle with me and even had it washed before I took it home. I understand that someone could read this review and take the negative from it, but that's not the point here. I want to be honest about my expletive and the beautiful work performed on my vehicle was worth the wait because it was done right by technicians who truly know Mercedes like the back of their hand. This is the only certified Mercedes Collision Center remotely near me and it shows. The parking lot is lined with beautiful cars and every customer that I saw leave this evening was very happy with the work performed. If you keep communication open with this collision center, you'll be happy that did your repairs. While I hope that we don't need any more collision related repairs, we will be repeat customers for collision or body work needed in the future. As both a BMW and Mercedes owner, I wouldn't think twice about having body work done anywhere else. This company does excellent work. My nearly-new Audi Q7 was hit and they restored it back to the same condition. Fit, finish, parts, paint, quality of work. They also back it up with a lifetime warranty. They were also successful in working with my insurance company pay for it all. Would I have liked it faster? Perhaps. Between Geico adjusters and their coordination, the repair may have taken 20% longer than I would have liked. However, I intend to keep the car for a long time so on balance I would prefer quality over and extra week getting repaired. Celvin and Shaun kept me fully informed throughout the process which I appreciate. It is never an easy thing when your car gets disabled, and insurance companies are looking to save $$, not care for your long-term automobile use. I had a very positive experience here. Admittedly, the job was relatively minor (painting and installing a small panel on my bumper that had fallen off), but it went very smoothly. The highlights: -My service advisor (Tamara) was very efficient and got me in and out very quickly (less than 10 minutes when I dropped off the part to be painted, less than 10 minutes when I came back to get it installed), even though I didn't make an appointment ahead of time -They didn't nickle and dime me - i.e., they charged for painting the part, but not for installing it -The job was done right the first time Overall a great experience read more

I haven't written a review in well over a year. But, I am so frustrated and angry with this company that my experience needs to be told to others so they are aware. My car was hit three weeks ago along the front bumper (not my fault, other driver). I drive a 2012 Audi Q5. This shop is literally located behind the Audi dealership at Tyson's Corner. After 3-4 days of dealing with insurance inspections and reports I dropped off my car at this shop. The estimated time was 6 days. AS OF TODAY MY CAR HAS BEEN THERE 19 DAYS. Let me give you a timeline thus far. Friday, July 25: I drop off my car. All reports and estimates show a work time frame of six days. Tuesday, July 29: I call to check the status of my car. There was a supplement for additional work. The estimated time frame was 10 additional hours AND they confirmed they had the required parts. Tuesday, August 5: I call to check the status of my car. The rep tells me the car just needs to be painted and it will be ready by Friday if not Thursday. Thursday, August 7: I call to check the status of my car. I was expecting to hear it was either done or almost done. NOPE. The rep tells me my car will not be ready until next week. Monday, August 11: I call twice to check the status of my car. No return call from my rep. This is unusual because he's always been at the very lease respectful enough to call me back. Tuesday, August 12: I decide to stop by the shop (25 minute drive without traffic) to see what's going on. My rep takes me to my car and it's up on jacks with the front bumper, side panel and wheel off. Okay, a week ago I was told it just needed to be painted and it would be done. WHAT GIVES? We stand there talking and I tell my rep I have a family vacation scheduled this week and we're leaving Thursday morning. Therefore I need my car back BEFORE Thursday morning. He asks the tech who is working on my car and the tech replies "Oh, maybe by Thursday but I'm not sure". HE SAID THIS WHILE LEANING ON THE BENCH PLAYING WITH THIS IPHONE. This entire time I did not get angry, I stayed composed but told my rep I will need my car by Wednesday. I don't even care if they polish it or whatever, just get it into drivable condition. IT'S BEEN 19 DAYS. Bottom Line: If you're reading this you've also read the other horror stories by other customers. I'm not one to exaggerate and I just returned from the body shop literally an hour ago. My rep was, overall responsive to my calls and requests for updates. The issue is he's not repairing my car. These techs are and I think they are just taking their time (like playing with their iPhone when they should be assembling my car). And, therein lies the issue. The reps can only do so much, they can follow up on a car but they cannot force a tech to ACTUALLY WORK. The above story is spot on and it's really sad that I've had to deal with the BS, time and energy lost, etc, etc because someone else hit me. But, the reality is my car should have been repaired two weeks ago. Instead it's still on jacks being assembled BY A TECH WHO IS PLAYING WITH HIS IPHONE. Again, the estimated time frame for work was SIX DAYS. It is now 19 DAYS. You do the math. I would rather deal with a used care salesman than deal with this shop. read more

My biggest issue with Tysons Corner Collision Center is that they are entirely unresponsive and exceedingly difficult to reach. They held my Porsche 2008 911 C2S for body work (including radiator, exterior trim) for over two months and throughout that time, I received no status updates from them. Whenever I call - and if I get through to anyone, all I hear is "the car will be ready next week". That's gone on for more than a month. I've tried to reach their GM, he's never in the body shop and doesn't return emails and voice mails. I've tried to reach also the General Manager of the overall Porsche dealership (part of Penske automotive family) and at least that got some response. But, the car still wasn't ready for another 3 weeks & I began to wonder if they knew how to repair the car? The Washington, DC metro area simply must have a better facility to repair our Mercedes Benz, Porsche, and Aston Martin cars. I am leaving 1 star because I don't know how to leave fewer stars. read more

Terrible terrible TERRIBLE customer service. I was given the run around for 2 months. Every single time I called I was told the writer was not in and he would call me back. He NEVER called me back. When I did finally get in touch with him the updates on my car were always changing. The estimated completion date was pushed back for weeks and weeks and I would only find this out because I would call asking when can I come get my car just to be told "it'll be another week" over and over. The manager wasn't any more helpful. When I finally did get my car back the drivers side door wouldn't lock. I called asking for assistance with this and guess what I was told.. the writer wasn't in but he would call me in a couple hours... STILL HAS NOT CALLED. Maybe they just have too much business but one thing after another delayed the repair. They were backed up, then they were waiting on parts, then the headlight didn't work, then they needed to test drive it etc. "Guy" was very good with communication and customer service which is the only reason i rated them above a 1. The worst thing that have ever been! Such a disaster.. I took my Audi here for repairs. The accident required the rear bumper and the left taillight to be completely changed. It's been 8 weeks and they are still trying to fix it. The cost of the accident was around 8K but they raised the cost to 15K after they decided to take apart the back of the car, and adding extra repairs so they can get extra money from the insurance. Naturally, insurance doesn't want to cover the extras. I've been without a car for 8 weeks now and don't even know when it's going to be fixed. By the way shame on Audi as well. The insurance said they would allow to me take it somewhere else, but this disaster place won't release my car. Absolute nightmare! Stay away from this money grabbing, dishonest business! read more

The 2 stars is because the final product looked OK. But the pain and suffering to get to that point and overall experience would be a Zero. Delays, excuses, more delays, and excuses. 7+ weeks to complete work on our car. Overpriced, even though my insurance was paying, still felt all the supplemental charges were over the top. Quite obvious they take advantage of the fact they are tied/associated with Audi/MB and Penske group. Talked to an insurance adjuster from another company, they said their reputation is very slow, expensive, and to be prepared to pay something out of pocket. read more

Unfortunately I didn't take into account the opinion of other Yelpers....I definitely had a very bad experience, I dropped off my car on the 1st of September and picked it up only today. I was promised that it will be ready on the 23rd, then I was kept in the dark about it not being ready, was giving very false and inaccurate information and I had to pay the difference for my rental since my insurance paid my policy max. I had to call and fight with them in order to get updates and after a lot of frustration they accepted to cover some of the rental. They gave me the impression that they don't need my car and that they had plenty of business! Very bad communication, conflicting information and false promises. Save yourself some pain and take your care somewhere else. read more

I had roughly the same experience as Kris R. below, where the work took 5 weeks for something that I was told verbatim was a pretty standard "easy fix". When they called me to do a survey I gave incredible feedback because the storm was JUST beginning to brew. If I could take it all back, I would in a heartbeat with how everything turned out. My reasoning for the two stars has nothing to do with the time period, but more of the customer service. Being a luxury vehicle and the first accident (that I had ZERO fault in, mind you), I wanted to make sure that my car was in good hands. My car was, I, myself as a customer was not. The work on my car was replacing the driver's side door- pretty much cosmetic and a coat of paint. YES I am now aware that Mercedes has 20 shades of black and that it went through a vigorous QC check which I appreciate, but 5 weeks? I also understand that there were two holidays within that time frame and a part had to be ordered, but after battling with the insurance company and the rental car company because the person who hit me's insurance coverage expired after the lengthy car rental, Tysons Corner Collision Center took absolutely NO responsibility for the timeframe or me coming out of pocket $400 for the rental car that I had to use wayyy past the expected completion. In fact, when the insurance company tried to make contact with them, they became aggressive, used profanity and basically said I was SOL and they didn't care because "it wasn't their problem". The insurance company handling my claim was willing to go half and half with the shop on my behalf but Tysons Corner Collision said "this is our process" and didn't make any attempts to work with the insurance company. The process in the end just made me feel really bad that no one was looking out for my interests as a customer, and I'm really hurt because I was happy with my choice in the beginning. Also, the car was apparently washed, yet had spots all over it. It's up to you to choose this shop as they do good work, but don't expect to be a priority. read more

Did a great job repainting the bumper on our Porsche Cayman after it was scratched up by a rock on the Blue Ridge Parkway. No signs of the scratch remain. Also, they got it done in a timely fashion and came in right at budget. We were very satisfied and would definitely recommend. read more

Sorry this is so delayed, but it has taken this long to complete everything and I wanted to do this in one shot. I have to disagree with all the negative stuff. My Porsche panamera was involved in an accident last fall (it was 2 months old). As Neil, the general manager can attest, I am a very detailed oriented person. I expected the car put back perfect and Neil wanted the same. Throughout the process, he and the shop bent over backward to appease my OCD personality on my car. I think when it was all said and they lost $$ money on the repair, but they gained a life long satisfied customer. At the onset I had my insurance company (USAA) and another body shop check the initial repair. They both agreed that is was way above industry standard and the room for improvement was minimal. Still, USAA and Neil wanted it done exactly to my expectations. The car turned out beautiful and Neil even arranged a follow up full detail at the place of my choosing. All the above may seem extreme and out of the ordinary, but I feel Neil would do all the above for any of his customers read more

SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWW service. Promised a front bumper fix in a week. A week later, they said they needed to order a part. The part took another week to receive. Apparently they never heard of over nighting parts. Then another week of "hopefully tomorrow". Finally, when assigned rep was out, my husband notified the replacement rep that he was on his way. When he arrived, it was being cleaned up. From initial inspection, it appears work was performed satisfactorily. So if you decide to use this center, I recommend you make daily visits. And figure in the cost of a rental car for a minimum of 3 weeks in getting a price quote. read more

I have done business with TCC for many years. I'm leasing my 5th MB and each seems to require bodywork at some point during the course of the lease. This review represents my first review of TCC, BUT not my first transaction with TCC. 5 Stars is awarded to a person not a facility. That person is Sr. Adjuster Shaun R. He provided me with an uncommonly competent and thorough assessment of damage, and well thought out choices for next steps. If you think you can take this sort of professionalism for granted---think again!! Bravo, Shaun, bravo! After departing from each repair, I always hope never to have to see you again, but in the real world, it's simply "when" not "if". As long as Shaun is at TCC I know I'm going to have a best-of-class repair experience. read more

My 2013 Audi was damaged back in August when a deer ran out in front of my car and damaged my front end. The car was still driveable, so this was not a quick decision I made to drop it off with them. I got several estimates from my "preferred" shops by my insurance company, but I decided to check with Tysons. They looked my car over and the estimate was almost 5K more than the preferred places, that left things off like my Clear Bra, my parking sensors and my adaptive cruise control calibration. These were places that do high volume with a few weeks turn around. Done that, and I didn't want that at all, not with this car. I dropped my car off with Tysons on the 4th of Oct and they told me it would be about 4 weeks to repair. I was fine with that and planned my rental accordingly (if you decide to go out and rent the most expensive car and run out of money, that's your fault, not the repair facilities fault). I gave myself a few extra weeks as I've been in this situation before. My desire was to get my car back like new, and not have to keep going back for nit picky things. I wanted my car back EXACTLY the way it was prior to my accident, which was flawless. My representative called me weekly with an update and told me he would upfront. If I called him, and wasn't able to answer, the ladies answering the calls would track him down and would call me back in under 15 mins. As we got closer to my completion date he was in contact with me more frequently, almost daily, and told me exactly what the hold ups where. He can't control the Clear Bra guy's schedule, nor can he control how long it takes for Audi Service to take care of my cruise control (it took a whole day for them to calibrate it). When I was called to pick up my car I was thrilled. It was done perfectly, you can put my car right next to a model on the floor and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. I am extremely happy with their work, with their staff from the ladies answering the phones, to the service representative, and the managers. All of them are very responsive to my questions/needs, pleasent to talk with and I would not hesitate to take my Audi back to them again if the need ever arises. EXCELLENT All Around!!!! read more

I worked with Nabia, as many others, and she was great. Definitely busy, but always responsive. That said, I can't quite give a five star review. I have seen the responses on timeliness of repairs from the TCCC management, and I get that negotiations with insurance companies can be time consuming, but at the same time this did extend my time to repair to almost a month for a fender bender. Maybe this isn't really their fault, but that doesn't change that I had to drive a rental for a month, one that was not nearly as comfortable as the car I had in for repair. read more

My service advisor was Nabia and she did a good job at keeping me informed every step of the way. Dropped off my Audi Q5 at this facility for repairs post a side swipe accident. Nabia Pirzada was assigned as the repair adjuster and did an excellent job getting the car repaired. She was very thorough with the repairs and followed the same detailed process when I had to bring the car in a second time for some minor adjustments. Very happy and satisfied with the end result. Took away one star as this facility takes very long to complete repairs. read more

So first I want to say that I have plenty of experience working with this shop because unfortunately our 2013 Mercedes was hit three times within a year. If I were to have rated this company on my first two experiences I would've also rated them -1 stars but after the second experience I complained all the way up to their corporate management and I was told that they were aware of their deficiencies and take full responsibility for their bad customer service. They went on to say that they had changed mid level management, hired additional staff and have developed new work procedures to ensure the customer experience is their primary concern. Having said that, post their changes it was clear that they are moving in the right direction. I worked with a young lady by the name of Tamara and she was nothing short of a rock star. She kept me in the loop on every status change and bent over backwards to ensure I was taken care of. I had actually left articles in my vehicle that I needed and she went so far as to ensure they were located and at the greeting desk ready to be picked up instead of me having to go to the car myself. I also want to separate the work from the customer experience. The body was always flawless. read more
