Needed a tire patch repair and they were able to do it same deal at the end of the day. Very convenient and efficient.

Showed up at 5:15 for an emissions test and was told the inspector was done for the day, even though hours state inspections until 6pm. I understand if I showed up and other cars were waiting, but there was nobody there and an emissions test would've taken less than 45m. If you show up to my place of business you'd expect better, so be better. read more

If you want great, reasonably priced, and professional service - this is the place. Special shoutout to Tofun, who might be the pinnacle of customer service. Guy is unbelievably good at what he does. read more

The service was great, but afterwards I received a call from 703-782-8031 asking for an online review. The caller clarified that they are not with Great Falls Exxon, so I have no prior business relationship and she should have checked the DO NOT CALL list before calling. When I told her I did not appreciate her call she very rudely told me where I could go and hung up. Exxon: If you are going to hire people to call on your behalf you should ask them to be polite. read more

Once again, Exxon Car Care Does NOT Disappoint! We have been coming to Car Care for the full range of car services in Great Falls, VA since we moved here 6 years ago. While we have had car troubles in other towns, and had to have service elsewhere, Car Care is always our preferred service shop. Even with a 24-hr power outage, Car Care's technicians were able to fix my Subaru on schedule and get us back on the road. Plus, their local competitor coupon match makes me confident that I can't get the same work done for less. Thanks, Car Care! read more

This is my go-to-place for all of our automotive repairs. Few days ago I came after hours and needed some help with our Jetta tires. Charlie was there and spent 15 minutes with us; first finding a nail in one of the tires, then carefully removing it and finally inflating all tires making sure the pressure is correct. Charlie took his time to explain effects of high temperature on tire pressure and all in all was patient and kind. He wasn't willing to take any money for his service. Just an outstanding person and excellent service. I will certainly continue to take my cars to this place. read more

Literally one of the best shops I've ever let touch my car. I can't stress enough how satisfied I am with the service that was provided. Albeit it was very minor they were able to get a set of (4) low profile tires mounted on my black wheels without making a single scratch on the wheels themselves and did the service within about an hour of me dropping it off despite me telling them that there was no rush. On top of the fact that I'd called them out of the blue 48hrs ahead of time to tell them the tires I'd ordered from TireRack we're arriving at their shop. Fantastic service. read more

Don't get an state inspection here. The guy is a scam artist. He failed multiple people for tire tread by 10am and said I too needed new tires. Since my tires were less than a year old I was skeptical. He said the tire was at 2 and that was failing the car. (Per Virginia inspection standards anything less than 2 fails). I happen to have a tire gauge so I asked him to show me where he measured. He got in a huff and said "fine since that one is at 3 I'll pass you". Set aside the ethical question of passing me for a different tire. When I measured the first tire I was at 5. The second tire was at 6. So either this guy doesn't know how to use a tire gauge or he was trying to hustle me for new tires. He failed me for my other cars tires the year before and I bought 4 new tires and had him install them. During which he broke a $500 tire pressure sensor. I didn't consider measuring my own tires until he tried to pull the same scam on me two years in a row. read more

I brought my car to Great Falls Exxon on the recommendation of Tire Rack. I had two new tires mounted and balance at a different shop near me, and after two attempts to get my Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 4s balanced, the steering wheel still shook above 50mph. Tire Rack suggested Great Falls Exxon to get it right, as they have had excellent reviews and had experience mounting and balancing tires on Bentleys, Lamborghinis, Ford GTs etc.. I'm here to say that Great Falls Exxon road forced balance my tires and now the steering is as smooth as glass, no matter the speed! The whole experience at Great Falls Exxon was top notch, the owner is very friendly and obviously passionate about his work. I wholeheartedly recommend Great Falls Exxon!! read more

I never thought I would be reviewing a gas station auto shop but here I am. I've come here twice, once to install new tires & second to get an oil change & headlight bulb replaced. Both times, the services were quick & easy. Tofun (General Manager) helped me & was very informative/helpful & also quite funny! He informed me what exactly would be done to my car & current/future suggestions of service & was never pushy of any unnecessary services. They also perform a courtesy check of your car which is texted to your mobile phone with information of the current condition of your car & services that might be needed soon or at the moment. The gas station is located right in a shopping plaza with a few more surrounding it, so there's plenty options whether you want to eat or shop while you wait. All the staff is friendly compared to other gas stations/auto shops. It does seem to always be busy, so call & try to get an appointment beforehand! I will definitely be back for my next car service & recommend this auto shop for anyone needing car services. read more

A top-shelf local shop. Excels with tires; owner is far more knowledgeable than NTB type places, and gave valuable free advice. Another occasion, owner hopped in my car to see figure out what was causing the noise, diagnosed it on the spot, quoted the cost. That was Saturday: took my car there Monday, and the work was done by end of day. Very honest, very organized, with a personal touch. read more

Locally owned Great Falls service station. Friendly staff, knowledgeable mechanics, and reasonable prices. Modern, exotic or antique cars.

The lady inside the store is unbelievably rude. She was rolling her eyes and had such an attitude. The other staff is very pleasant and helpful. read more

I've gotten my VA state inspection here twice. It's super fast, but the interior waiting area is a little cramped in the convenience store section of the gas station. You pull up and they come snag your car. Once that happens you're out of there in under 15. read more

Great Falls Exxon - Auto Repair Near Me - Great Falls, Virginia

What an incredibly organized and detailed establishment. The customer service and professionalism have been by far one of the best I personally experienced. Tofun, the General Manager not only is knowledgeable and pleasant to speak to, but he also took time, effort, and care in explaining to me exactly what my car needed and took care of it quickly and efficiently. As a woman, it's comforting to feel safe in knowing that I am not getting ripped off. I highly recommend this shop! They are well versed in keeping everything sterilized and safe for anyone concerned about C-19. In addition to following all the protocols, My car came back cleaned and washed as well. You won't be disappointed! read more

Saman and his team are excellent. I've been bringing my cars here for a good twenty years and I highly recommend them. Honest and absolutely no games. Rare when it comes to car care. Highly recommend coming here. read more

Had new wheels and tires put on my 2017 Sierra. I was going to go with Nittos but upon recommendations from Great Falls Exxon I went with BFGs. So glad I did. They got everything set up, the TPMS sensors moved over and programmed, and helped me find hub rings of the correct size and even replaced the lug nuts that were shipped with the wheels that didn't fit. So happy. Tires are balanced perfectly and the ride is incredible. Couldn't recommend this place more. read more

Great Falls Exxon - Before.... - Auto Repair Near Me - Great Falls, Virginia

See all

My experience here gives me faith in humanity. I had just gotten an oil change and my splash guard had fallen off. They took my car back without an appointment and were able to remedy the issue all the while with a friendly attitude. What floored me was that they did the work "on the house." This is how you build clientele. I'll absolutely be back for future car repair needs. read more

Highly recommended!! Trust worthy and honest shop, which is hard to find when it comes to mechanics, especially if you are a woman. read more

This shop has consistently been taking care of my car, as well as the cars in my entire family for years now. For the last several years, since we moved, we willingly make the hour or so commute. That being said, it's just so nice to not be screwed by a mechanic that knows drastically more than I do about my vehicle. My car is twelve years old, give or take, with 280 some-odd thousand miles. The minimal wear and tear I've dealt with is due to great regular maintenance. This past time I had some major work done and dealt mainly with Tufan and one of the mechanics, Diddy. Always tell me what's going on with my car, and get everything taken care of quickly. I really can't say enough. read more

The customer service and staff are high standard professional and informative. They will explain all the necessary issues and fixed the problem after approval from customer. The price is almost as expensive as dealerships, but they are responsive and work faster. All the works have a year warranty, so not so bad overall. I can rely on them to be honest. Thanks for being near from my home. read more

The customer service and professionalism at Great Falls Exxon is out of this world. As a car enthusiast and collector it is rare to find a repair shop that is capable, honest, clean, and organized. Great Falls Exxon is an asset to the community and commuters driving by. Saman, the owner, always welcomes me with a big smile and goes out of his way to help customers with any problems they have with their vehicles. I have visited many car repair facilities in the area, and I always recommend Great Falls Exxon to my family and friends. This evening my fathers classic Mercedes wouldn't start at the Safeway next door. I called Saman at 645PM, and within five minutes he walked over to my Fathers car and made sure he was ok, and assisted him to get back on the road safely. I really appreciated that and felt he went above and beyond. That is customer service I don't see very often. I hope reading this review, you give Saman and his team a try, you won't be disappointed! A big thank you and two thumbs up! read more

I'm saddened by my family's recent experience at Great Falls Exxon as I have been bringing vehicles here mostly for inspections and tire installations for many years. My son who is in his early twenties brought his car to have tires purchased from Tire Rack installed last week. After waiting for what he felt was an unusually long time, he went to retrieve his vehicle. He was told by the man at the cash register (whose name I did not get but I would love to splash it all over the Internet) that they were done with his car but they couldn't find his key and they weren't sure where his car was. He located his own car in an adjacent parking lot but there was no key in it. He went back and demanded his key only to have the attendant basically throw it at him! To add insult to injury they screwed up the tire pressure sensors on his wheels so now he has a warning light on and another issue to go deal with. My son was trying to get this repair completed so he could pack up his car and return to college that day. He was in a time crunch and the thoughtlessness and attitude he received is infuriating. If you don't want to be an installer for Tire Rack there is a very easy solution....DON'T! I personally have never received such treatment at this service station so I can only assume it was due to the fact that he was young and the attendant felt he could treat him like crap. The manager of this station is Saman Limonee who will now be doing repairs out of the Shell station across the street. Shame on you and your employee for treating my son this way. I will be informing Tire Rack of your performance and rude behavior. I can only hope it results in you losing you status as an approved installer. Certainly I will not have any tires installed there in the future. I would also encourage those needing repairs in Great Falls area to consider Great Falls Automotive or Dranesville Auto Repair where they know how to treat a customer. read more

28 December, 2018 I jammed in there at noon today without an appointment to have the snow tires put on. I also gave then some sad eyes because I needed my car inspected, too. They told me they might be able to get it done by the end of the day, but might need to hold the car overnight. Okay, so they called at 3:30PM and told me the car was done. Brilliant. Exceeded expectations. All with a smile. They do service cars, but more important, they build customer relationships. Stand in the waiting area for awhile and you'll see it. People walking in just to say hello and chat a bit. They always make time to listen, make you feel comfortable, and do excellent work. Thank you all. Happy New Year. read more

can't say enough great things about Exxon in Great Falls. We've lived here for 15 years and have never been let down by them. Saman and Toofan are great guys...always have been honest, helpful and genuine. Hard to say that about many in the car repair business in my experience. We are lucky to have them! read more

Recently moved to the area and decided to give this local business a try. There Car Service Station is generally flooded with cars and has great reviews about their mechanics. I needed to get an Inspection completed on my vehicle and was told it would take 15 mins. I was the first car in line with 3 cars waiting behind me. I waited for 45 mins with no inspector in sight. I approached the attendant to who told me it would be additional 1.5 hrs. You should not tell your customers 15 mins if you cannot provide the service. I completely waisted an hour of my time. I drove 15 mins to another Sunoco Station in Reston. They have a dedicated attendant who was able to complete the service in 15 mins. I hope this review will bring awareness to the owner that your Inspection System needs improvement. Maybe recommend booking appts . read more

Went for an inspection and was told I needed more work done. Their prices are lower than the dealer. Brad offered to drop me (and my kids) off home and pick us up so we don't have to wait for several hours. We ended up doing that and Brad was very helpful and friendly. They also gave me a free oil change. I had a solid positive experience and would come here again for inspections and car work. Highly recommend! read more

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place! I am grateful to Toofan for his service. He is knowledgeable, honest and efficient. This is my new car shop. I don't live in the area, but will make the trip to this Exxon going forward! read more

I had a problem with my door latch that was no longer catching so my door wouldn't close. I called the Nissan service and they quoted me $68 to look at it plus $450 if I needed a part. I went to Exxon Great Falls, Tofun took a look and fixed the slipped latch in 5 minutes! So easy and such good service. Tofun was very nice, conversing throughout the fix, and even lubricated the latch after. I highly recommend Tofun and the team at Exxon Great Falls. read more

The other mechanic staff are friendly, too, but Too-Fun (how he told me to pronounce it once) has been awesome. He seems to genuinely like helping people, and is straight-forward on issues and prices. They gave me a convenient free ride in their cool monster truck, and got my car done in less time and for less money than quoted. Will be back next time. Thanks, guys! read more

Saman continues to provide a valuable community service with a smile.

I needed an emergency work for my car on Friday. I just called and scheduled a time. The services were done quickly and accurately. Thanks!

Normally I dread anything that has to do with auto maintenance, especially after having been ripped off over and over again at the dealership service centers. After taking my Mini Cooper to Great Falls Exxon, I will no longer go into a panic when the "service" light goes on. Candy and the team here explained things in terms even I could understand, formulated a common-sense plan with me, were quick and helpful and the price was quite reasonable. Yes, the waiting area is tiny, but with a Starbucks and a Subway in the same plaza, and very fast service, it wouldn't make sense to have it any larger. I will never go back to the dealership for service. This is the small-town, customer-friendly service that I dreamed of! read more

I took my 2003 Honda Accord to Great Falls Exxon for a check engine light and inspection. They were very knowledgable about the car and my options. They even suggested a few very cheap options but also told me the pros and cons to each approach. In the end, I chose the best repair option, not the cheapest and they got everything fixed up the same day! Included a catalytic converter, (2) oxygen sensors and a vTec switch. Car is running amazing and I feel very well taken care of. read more

I wouldn't take my Mercedes anywhere else. Saman always walks me through any issues, no matter how small. He makes it easy for a non-car person like me to understand an issue. He also found me great tires and matched the lowest price I could find online. Great service!!! read more

I found Great Falls Exxon through TireRack.com and have had both of our Accura's tires installed by them. They did a good job on the installs and when we noticed an issue after an install they re-balanced all of the tires on the car finding no fault with the wheels. They thought the issue was in the drive train and they did not charge me anything for the re-balancing. They took the time to describe the process they went through and why they felt the problem was in the drive train. It turned out the axle had a 'ding' (dealer term) on it that was causing a wobble under speed. Thankfully the car was still under warranty and Pohanka Acura took care of the problem. I will definitely go back to Great Falls Exxon again. read more

I brought my 4Runner to install tires purchased on tirerack.com. Saman was very helpful and accommodative - making sure the tires were done on time. I also had asked about getting other work done, which Saman had his crew do quickly while I waited at the Starbucks next door. He could have easily pocketed more money but turned down work that wasn't needed. I appreciate an honest shop. My experience was great. read more

As a life long resident of Great Falls, it saddens me to be treated with such disregard. The owner's rule is not to take credit cards inside, but instead have them run outside at the pump. Obviously unaware that prepaid cards, that parents load for their children, won't swipe with a $1 authorization that occurs when swiping at the pump. Well, I will make sure that my family and I never provide this station with any more business. And hopefully everyone else in the community will drive the extra distance to take their business somewhere else. Sure glad you are able to save that percentage fee from running the cards inside. read more

I don't usually write reviews because I find it to be tedious, however, I had to write a review about this place! Being from Richmond, VA it's hard to find an auto repair shop that's trustworthy and especially as a woman. A friend recommended this place, and I received excellent service. I own a 2015 Nissan Juke and a car like that needs really good tires. Tofun (the GM) chose the best option for my tires, however, I asked if he could find something cheaper than $110 a piece for each tire. He said there are other cheaper tires that I can choose from, but he would never put them on his sisters' car. He gave me his honest opinion instead of saying "sure, here's one for $70, we can place them by COB today." That made me realize I can really trust Tofun and his team. I'm also the kind of person who asks tons of questions, and Tofun was very patient, understanding, and answered all of my questions thoroughly. People like that are hard to find. I need my brakes done in late spring/early summer, and I'm coming back here to them replaced. Thanks for all your help Tofun & team! read more
