We decided to look for recommendations in my neighborhood mom's group and follow up those by referencing Yelp reco's. Decided to call Speake's Plumbing and so glad we did! We called on a Thursday afternoon and left a message and received an immediate call back. They said someone could come out the following day. Speake's was excellent about communicating and we opted in to receive text messages. They let us know that someone would come by between 10-2 on Friday. And they did! Enter Mike on Friday afternoon around 1:30! We showed him our bathroom and he could smell the sewer gas too! We had kept the door closed to keep fumes down to the rest of the house. Also opened a window. After he removed the toilet and scraped off the wax he found the real problem. He came to show us what he discovered. There was a gap between where the flange and the drain pipe meet. Mike fixed the pipe and replaced the flange with a new beautiful brass one. This is the only pic I took. We love our Toto toilets and asked Mike to replace the insides with a new flush valve kit since the current one looked really old. He replaced the toilet and cleaned everything up. We paid and he sent our receipt via email. The price seemed in-line and we were very happy with Mike and the service he provided. We will definitely call Speake's Plumbing again if a plumbing issue arises.

Eagle Quality Plumping installed a tankless water heater with circ pump in my 20 year old home…read more Tyler and his apprentice were professionals. Install and clean up were perfect. During an install it requires the water line to be turned off. When the water was turned back on, a builder OE plastic fitting failed not related to his work. This caused water to hit the floor in a bathroom. Tyler knew something was wrong and found the leak, stopped the leak and cleaned up the water. This was not his scope of work but he went the extra mile. Then he took a part from his truck and replaced the fitting with a metal unit. Then he took another part from his truck and swapped the plastic fitting from another area of the house so it wouldn't happen in the future. This work ethic and character is getting harder to find. Got a call from the office at 10:15 that Blake was running late and now my window was 1-5. Therefore, I was pleasantly surprised to get a text at 11:33 that he was on the way complete with his photo. So I put the dogs up and waited for his arrival, and got distracted by work emails ... when he wasn't here by 2:30 I phoned and was told my window was now 4-6pm. Then another text at 2:55 that he was on the way. When he showed up he told me he was new and didn't know how the text got sent but it wasn't his fault. He attempted to hand tighten a loose pipe/connector and announced he was done, so I turned the water on and shook the pipe with very little force and it popped back open. He kept repeating he was a licensed plumber and he was furious that I was 'rough on the pipe' and made it come loose. He said he wasn't charging me and was leaving-- so after waiting a week for this appointment I'm off to call a recommended company. If you called the old Overall number and thought you were getting good small town service, think again

Left side was screwed into drywall, and the right side was screwed into a stud. (There's another stud about 14 inches to the right of the board that they could have attached to, but for some reason didn't.) I called NTXPlumbing and told their employee about the issue, and he said it didn't sound like a "repair issue" because the unit was still working, but that someone would get back to me. I waited a few weeks, and then sent a follow up email. I received a response that evening from Mai that said: "Thank you for sending this email. We will review and get back to you as soon as possible. " I'm not sure what they are reviewing, but it's been another week with no contact from them. I'm guessing they are just hoping that if they ignore their customer, that maybe the problem will go away. I'd recommend finding another company who won't ghost you when their's a quality issue with their install. For what it's worth, the Navien tankless unit has been great.

We had a toilet replaced, and Caleb did an excellent job explaining the process and also preparing the site for work and then cleaning it all up. He also suggested a better sealant versus the standard one, so that it lasts longer. They also warranty their labor and work, so you have peace of mind. Only parts are not covered, so you should get them from a big parts store like Lowe's or Home Depot for the standard 90 day parts coverage. I'll definitely continue to use them for all of my plumbing needs.
