There was so much more, but it disappeared before the camera came out. Delicious Thai iced tea and Bubble Tea.

This place is.... love. The best of my best! I can't wait to go back. I miss them. They select all their own seasonal veggies personally- never disappointed, yet often surprised

We decided to come here for lunch on Saturday. The place was empty so getting a table was easy. We started with some spring rolls and wings, both were not bad. I got the chicken pad thai and that was pretty good. Not a bad thai place and would not mine going back again.

We like good flavorful Thai food. The curry puffs were amazing. We had a mango curry and chicken eggplant dinner special. Both were packed full of flavor. In both some of the veggies were too raw (uncooked). In the eggplant dish the eggplant was mushy. Again both did stand tall on flavor. One person seemed to do nearly all the work while another sat. The atmosphere was nice and our server/hostess was fast and friendly. No problem saying I'll go back again and no problem recommending this to others.

The ginger chicken was very fragrant with fresh vegetables. The brown ginger sauce was light, yet tasteful. Staff was friendly with a calm atmosphere. I wish there was a lunch menu since it seemed to be a bit expensive for lunch.

This is not Pad See Eu Noodles but this is what they sent. Noodles, veggies and no sauce.

The food used to be great. I came here all the time Despite the woman who works the front being super rude. A month ago a friend picked up an order for us and our pad Thai came with just noodles, no sauce. I just ordered again from them using my grubhub. I ordered pad see eu and they sent pad Thai noodles with no sauce. Not sure what's up with them but I won't be ordering here anymore.

Does the Teriyaki sauce contain honey?

Are the curry pastes vegetarian (and vegan) friendly or do they contain shrimp paste/ other animal products?

I asked the owner. She replied "It’s contained shrimp pastes but if requested can used fomented tofu instead". So check it on out, they're excellent with trying to satisfy everyone- you won't be disappointed.

Are the curries (when ordered with tofu) vegan?

They should be since they use coconut milk as the "dairy" in the curries.

So this was my first time trying a vegan restaurant .. which was recommend to me by my friend …read more I will say I'm not vegan and neither is my husband but I wanted to bring my mom and sister who are vegetarian for a nice family dinner . And I am so glad I did ! The food was amazing , the owner is so sweet we got to meet her and she told us her story about wanting to have her own restaurant since forever ! So they normally have a regular menu however they do offer vegan hot pot with a reservation which I highly recommend because it was amazing !!! We tried all the vegan food ( vegan duck , vegan chicken , tofu , fried tofu ) . Which was really good because if you have never tried vegan food before this allowed you the option to try all the different protein options and see which you liked rather than ordering a single dish . And considering I'm not vegan and my husband loves meat a lot ... we still enjoyed ourselves, all the food was delicious and filling ! My favourite was the vegan duck and the fried tofu and the spicy curry ( highly recommend) Even the dessert which was a Oreo and banana pudding was delicious. Overall 10/10 great food , great location and atmosphere, great staff ! I highly recommend even if your a meat lover to go give it a try ... and you might be pleasantly surprised ( I was ) and I will definitely be back to try some more dishes !

Merely peckish, we didn't order as much as we ordinarily would have. However, what we did order hit the spot, and resoundingly so. We ordered one cup of tom yum with coconut milk, one cup of tom yum with clear broth, spring rolls, and chive patties. The tom yum with coconut milk was almost like a curry: very filling and creamy. The tom yum with clear broth was spicy, with every sip bursting with flavour. The portions were absolutely gigantic, and we had plenty left over. The spring rolls were perfectly hot and perfectly crispy. The filling was also delicious. The chive patties were also fried to a crisp, and were my favourite item on the menu. The food took a relatively long time to come, but service was very friendly. The ambiance was warm, with some interesting East Asian artwork. I'm always excited about all-vegan places, just because I can eat everything listen on the menu and don't have to parse carefully to figure out what I can consume. Simultaneously, I hold these establishments to high standards: such restaurants need to be truly exceptional to thrive. My dining partner and I were delighted with our experience at Aroy, and hope to return when we're next in Connecticut.

I was actually blown away. This is the best Thai restaurant in CT. I've tried September in Bangkok and it was quite awful. Today I got the chicken larb and sticky rice. Now let's talk FOOD Presentation, flavor, and spice level? 10/10. * Chicken spring rolls: crispy, fresh, and not greasy * Drunken noodles with shrimp: perfectly sauced with just the right kick * Pineapple fried rice with chicken (to go): I already knew it would hit... and it did The ingredients tasted fresh, portions were solid, and the prices are very affordable; which makes it even better. Service was friendly and welcoming, which always makes a difference. This is a perfect spot for families, date night, lunch, or a solo reset moment when you just want good food and good energy.

Best Thai food in Wallingford hands down…read more The pad Thai is the best I've had. It's hard not to order it every time. But everything on the menu is delicious so ya gotta branch out. The location in in between two pizza places on the North Haven side of Rt 5 in Wallingford. It's our go-to take out place. Recently we dined in and it was even better. Their tom kha is so flavorful. The green curry beef noodle dish was huge and delicious with the right amount of spice. Unassuming simplicity inside with more take-away orders than diners, it seemed. But dining area was nice. I've dined here years ago and it was different. I imagine they changed owners or renovated in some way, because it's extra good.

Food- spring rolls are always good. However, I will say my go to is generally the pad Thai. Sometimes it is spot on and other times it almost tastes like there are different cooks, and it where it tastes like it came from a wok that is too hot/singed flavor and the right flavors just aren't there. I did notice they changed to more biodegrading to go products which is nice though! My family member got the Massaman Currt and reported it was not as good as usual, this time around it was very soupy with minimal spice. I've never eaten inside but this looks like a small hole in the wall spot from the outside , it is very quaint. Overall, return out of convenience when visiting the area from time to time but wish there were more consistency with when those dishes have been closer to their best!

It is BYOB with a package store in the same plaza. Offers your traditional Thai fare with Laotian dishes as well. It has a mixture of Southeast Asian cuisine (Thai, Laos, Vietnamese). How do I know? Well, I'm Laotian. I may a bit of harsh critic due to eating authentic Lao/Thai food my entire life. Got the beef pho with all the fixings minus the rice noodles. Without the rice noodles it still cost the same so I should've just asked for it on the side. It was okay. 5/10 Chicken laab was decent but lacked authentic bit of flavor. They told us they could make pork laab but if you look at my two photos, they look identical. The "pork laab" tasted like bacon. It seemed like they just cooked the ground chicken in bacon grease and called it pork. I did tell the chef it was greasy and my thoughts and her response was, "It's pork, of course it's greasy." Okay, but you cooked it in bacon grease and tried to fool me. Pork laab 1/10. Chicken 3/10. Papaya salad cones Thai or Lao style. I asked for Lao style because I want the extra fermented fish sauce funk that I love. It had some shredded carrots and medium spice was great for me. They served it with ice berg lettuce wedge but I asked for cabbage (authentic way to eat it). Flavor was good. 6/10 Seafood rad Ma (lad na) was mediocre. Bay scallops and calamari were overcooked. Flavor lacked and was bland, even after I dressed it up. Shrimp was cooked perfectly. I prefer no muscles but there was plenty and only Chinese broccoli as the only vegetable in the dish. It would've been nice to see carrots in it too. 4/10. I ordered two identical dishes of this and I was charged two different prices; $18 & $19. Look at your receipt! The star of the show was the beef jerky and fried chicken wings! They were phenomenal and I'd probably only order the two apps with sticky rice again. 10/10 Ambiance is great. Decor is beautiful as they left it from the previous owners. Clean, average noise level.
