Our waitress took about 15 minutes to bring us the menu or even start attending to our table, even though he was only serving one other table at the time. We ordered chicken karaage and popcorn shrimp as appetizers, and both were very tasty. For the main course, we ordered ramen, All-Star Ramen, an eel roll, a soft-shell crab roll, and spicy Dan Dan noodles. Overall, the food was just okay. The noodles and sushi tasted fine, but nothing was particularly special or memorable. Unfortunately, we also had an unpleasant experience with our order. The waitress messed up our spicy Dan Dan noodle order and served us spicy tonkotsu ramen instead. After another 15 minutes, they were able to bring out the spicy Dan Dan noodles. However, the noodles were extremely tough and practically inedible. When we asked the waitress about the issue with the noodles, she became defensive and seemed to imply that the problem was on our end. He explained that the noodles were tough because they were not served with soup. Huh? Anyone familiar with cooking knows that noodles being excessively hard is usually a sign that they are undercooked, not because they aren't served with soup. Overall, we really wanted to like this place, but the mediocre food and disappointing service made the experience difficult to recommend. Given its reputation and the expectations that come with a famed Iron Chef restaurant, we expected much more.

The spring rolls were very tasty, boyfriend especially loved those. The chicken tenders were massive, and boyfriend really liked the spicy sauce on those as well. Tteokbokki was pretty good as well. The server left the fried shrimp at the table, and while I normally don't like shrimp (it's a texture thing for me) I didn't want it to go to waste so I decided to give it a try and it was actually quite good! The fry on it was great and the texture of the meat was soft. However I think my favorite thing that I had was the bulgogi, as the beef was very tender, well marinated and quite flavorful.
