I opted for the Brussel sprouts because nothing else was obviously keto friendly. My sprouts came out in a small bowl and the portion size looked more like an appetizer than it did a main course. The price was also a little high but the first bight was amazing. The last bight was just as amazing. The sprouts we very tender and full of flavor. I'll certainly order them again if I return. Kind of hard to find the front door but I think that's part of the ambiance they're trying to give. Apparently you need a reservation even on a weekday evening, which is fine but the girl at the front seemed super elitist about it like this is Chattanooga not LA and you're not everyone's main character. Trendy restaurant that serves a combination of ramen dishes and small plates in Chattanooga's Warehouse Row. The restaurant is located below street level in a large atrium. There is metered parking near Warehouse Row and a garage that the restaurant will validate parking for. There's seating for the restaurant both inside a dimly lit dining room near the sushi bar and outside in the atrium for larger groups. I went with a group of 13 and the servers could only split our bill into two checks. So, either come with Venmo/Paypal installed on your phones, a lot of cash, or a buddy who's willing to take the whole check for you. On the Menu: With an izakaya menu, Two Ten Jack serves small plates, salads, ramen, yakitori (Japanese grill items), and a fine selection of shochu, sake, beer, cocktails, and wine. The small plates include crispy Brussels sprouts, pork gyoza, garlic noodles, fried rice, poke, Japanese fried chicken, clams, and an interesting combination of okonomoyaki and tater tots. You have four choices for ramen - tonkatsu (pork), chicken meatball, vegetarian, and spicy crab garlic noodles that are served without broth. The sushi offering isn't as expansive as restaurants that specialize in sushi. What I Tried: Crispy Brussels ($9) - This is a good vegetable small plate to start off your meal. You'll get a medium sized plate of roasted Brussel sprouts that are mixed with crunchy rice. Perhaps a little over-roasted, but still quite good. The crunchy rice adds an extra texture to the appetizer that may just convince you to eat your greens. J.F.C. ($8) - Short for Japanese fried chicken, this is a bowl of with very good chicken nuggets and a fantastic creamy dipping sauce on the side. Juicy meat and the right amount of excellent tasty breading - I was definitely a fan of this small plate. Tantan Clams ($13) - This is a medium-sized bowl of clams in a red mild broth mixed with very flavorful chunks of pork. I thought the pork was even tastier than the clams. This is another small plate that I would recommend. Takoyaki ($8) - Hushpuppies with miso butter. The star of this appetizer is the miso butter, which has both great flavor and consistency. Tori Paitan Shoyu Ramen ($13) - This was my first time eating a ramen with chicken meatballs (labeled as tsukune on the menu). While not perfect, the broth had a nice richness. It was a little salty, but good enough that I drank the broth after I ate everything else in the bowl. Surprisingly, my favorite part of the ramen was the mushrooms. They absorbed the oily broth and were the most flavorful part of the whole dish. My two chicken meatballs were also quite good. The soft egg wasn't perfect, but this is hard to execute and is certainly much better than the places that give up and serve hard boiled eggs in their ramen dishes. I thought the noodles in the ramen were neither bad nor impressive. Verdict: Four stars considering the quality of the ramen and the small plates. I'm a little picky with my ramen, so if you're not that picky you will definitely enjoy it. My favorites from dinner were the J.F.C. and the clams. Atmosphere is trendy. Payment for large groups can be an ordeal, but you are told of this up front before you are seated. read more

Duuuuuuuuude! Who would have thought ramen could be so good? Like seriously! I loved this place. The atmosphere is really great, the noodles were to die for and the service was awesome. I had ordered some tea which wasn't bad. I felt like the tea pot was really new or something because the tea had a little bit of a weird flavor to it and I noticed the pot had sort of a rubbery inside. Regardless, the server got me a new drink (which adds to the good service experience). The atmosphere is good for taking someone on a date. Just feels sort of like an intimate setting. The only reason for the deduction in a star is because the noodles themselves were a little too eggy. That is personal preference really but it was still good. The noodles had good chew to them. I'm not usually one to eat a heavy bowl of carbs, but this was so worth it. The noodles are tossed in a heavenly garlic butter sauce with bits of crab meat intertwined. My husband and I are taking our first vacation as empty nesters. Our road trip has taken us to Chattanooga where we stumbled upon Two Ten Jack in the warehouse district after getting coffee earlier that morning. As we were exploring the warehouse, we met with a very personable young man and after researching the menu we decided to make reservations for the night. We arrived a little early and went to the bar until closer to our seating time. Hailey was amazing, very knowlegable, and her recommendations were spot on at the bar. We asked for Kyler, as he really made an impact when we spoke with him in the morning, and he was our server for the night. He was just awesome. His recommendations were amazing, and we pretty much started from the small plates on down (too many to list). Suffice it to say we started at small plates and made it down to the ramen. We tried new dishes (seaweed salad-yum), had numerous skewers, the St Elmo sushi, and some ramen. We were pleased with everything. We're from Iowa, have travelled extensively, and we cannot get over how flavorful the food is. The service was impeccable, which is huge these days. I will say, I'm not sure I would say the menu is kid-friendly or if there's a kid menu as we didn't look. My kids would love it now that they're older, especially my girls. Pricing is similar, if not better, than the big cities. Portions on the smaller side but enough for the two of us to share with a wide variety. To get to Two Ten Jack, there's a sign that leads you down a stairwell as the restaurant is below ground. Me and my friend were greeted by a hostess that asked if we had a reservation (Saturday night) which we did not, so they told us it would either be a 2 hr wait or we could sit at the bar. We proceed to the bar and look around to several empty tables behind us. We then check on our phones to see reservation slots available. We arrived at 6:15 and there was a slot open at 6:30 so I'm not sure why there would be a 2 hr wait. Food: I got the paitan ramen and it was a bit salty with very little meat. I also tried the tantan clams and it wasn't all that great, the broth was a bit tart for my taste. Atmosphere: the ambiance was really nice. it gave off a more hipster vibe. It was a small list, so if you're a picky eater (especially when it comes to Asian food) I probably wouldn't recommend this restaurant. I think for it being in a small town, the food was okay. I loved stopping at Two Ten Jack for dinner while visiting Chattanooga! The atmosphere of the place made it worthwhile. I should have made reservations, because they sat myself and my partner at the bar which was annoying for our date night since it meant listening to bartenders complain about other patrons on the other side of the bar, and neither of us drink regularly so we felt bad not ordering drinks from the bartender who took our order. Looking back, I would have just asked if we could have waited for a table because we could see open tables as we sat at the bar. They were out of edamame so we got shittake yakatori and the lucky belly maki to start with. Both these dishes were extremely tasty and portioned well. For dinner, we each got a bowl of the vegan ramen. We're used to Atlanta's Jinya's creamy vegan ramen, so that made most of our baseline for comparison since we have that on the regular. Two Ten Jacks is a much clearer and simpler ramen. Although we prefer the creamy style, Two Ten Jack's was also delicious and satisfying! We left content with happy, full bellies and no complaints on any of the food. If I were to return, it would be for the atmosphere above anything else. That's what really makes this place so great. I wish they included information on the owner or inspiration of Two Ten Jack on their website, because my partner and I didn't see anyone Asian working in the kitchen (visible from the bar) or elsewhere, so we were curious about how this Japanese izakaya inspired place came to be in Chattanooga. Been here a couple of times. Really solid overall experience. My wife and I have had about 1/3 of the menu (many of the small plates and skewers) and we always leave so happy. The shishito pepper inclusion on the menu rocks, those are sooo good. Their raw Yellowtail with Jalapeños is probably my favorite menu item. Sake selection is really great. For the ramen I did ask for some chili paste because I like it with a little more heat, highly recommend the addition. My bf ate every bite of of his rice. Everything has fantastic quality, the servers are friendly, they have many vegetarian options, the ambiance is perfect; I have never been disappointed. The vegetarian ramen is what I usually get, along with the roasted brussels sprouts (so good, SO GOOD). Their miso soup is really good, as well as their mochi ice-cream dish, the green tea one was my favorite.
