Super cute small batch bakery with friendly service. Because they make small batches you gotta get there early/put in your order online first thing in the morning! I am not sure if the online ordering is a response to COVID19 or if it was always a service provided. I had only been to Two Sticks once before covid, but have had good luck ordering online twice now since. They are selling out super quick with everyone jumping on online orders, so even if you start your order right when they open up online (7:30am), they might sell out before you check out -- I'm glad they are getting so much business!! I love the vegan chocolate chip cookies, scones, and every seed focaccia bread, but I'm guessing it's hard to go wrong when you order. The cookies are loaded with chocolate, which I love - but if that's not your thing their menu has a lot of other delicious items to choose from. It seems like there are some base menu items sprinkled in with daily changes/specials. I did get a cinnamon roll, an item that is often/always(?) on the menu, for a friend and tried it. It was not my favorite - it's pretty dense with super thick cream cheese icing. If you order a latte online they will wait till you come to pick up to start making it, so it's hot and fresh - but make sure you allot for that when you pick up. I got an oat milk latte, yum! read more

I have had numerous sweet treats from Two Sticks and every time I'm blown away with how delicious they are. This week for Valentine's Day I got to try the chocolate roll and it was amazing. It's like a cinnamon roll but chocolate. I was skeptical but I've been dreaming of another one ever since! I was torn with whether I preferred the pecan bar or the mocha cheesecake bar. Probably a tie. I can't say enough good things about Two Sticks. Go there. Trust me. read more

Food is AMAZING! Was given a couple different items from a coworker and would absolutely recommend them!

Unbelievable pastries - scones, cinnamon rolls, etc.. This is my default stop when we come to visit my son!

Hey BTown!!! There's an adorable bakery in town!! Guess it's been here for over a year, yet... I didn't know!! And, I'm sad to say, I just tried it for the first time today!! Happy to say, it is adorable!!! Quarrymen coffee, hot or cold! Serving Oatmilk as an option for milks. If it takes butter, it's possibly on the menu for a bakery good! I arrived around noon on a Sunday, they close at 2pm, on Sundays. The options were limited, yet still so many beautiful pastry's to choose from: Cinnamon rolls, cookies, the true to previous posts: awesome pecan bars, focaccia, and chocolate cake; and coffee, chai, hot tea and more. The space was located off the beaten path enough, and set off the street, I wouldn't have noticed it on a routine around town bee-bopping day. The inside was small, a cute little display/counter with an easy look onto what was for choosing. Small inside, not much room to sit yet I imagine on a nice weather day, the outside would offer a nice place to lounge. Two Sticks ... of what?... I wondered. Butter!! Two sticks of butter!! How creative!! I'm hoping the bestest for this local cutesy bakery!! I'll return... just earlier to get a better selection of all this bakery has to offer!!! read more

This place is a true Bloomington treasure. Everything is good. I won't tell you my favorites just in case you buy them up before I can get there... Please just take my $$$, Two Sticks! read more

If you are looking for a new place to explore in Bloomington that is a bit off the beaten path, this ideal. It is small and intimate, which is great! There are a few places to park! The customer service is great and establishment is very clean. Prices are reasonable! If you have a nut allergy I would err on the side of caution. There are a few items that are nut free. I would just ask about cross contamination. I wish I had taken pictures of the cinnamon roll and every seed scone we bought, but we enjoyed them so much that we devoured every bite (with a smile). read more

Two sticks is my family's favorite bakery in town. The cinnamon rolls and cheesecake are hands down some of the best we've ever had!

This is by far my favorite bakery!!! The pecan bars hit the spot every time and the scones are the best!!!! I love that the menu changes up by seasonal taste but still has the same core greatness! I'm so sad it took me so long to try this place but I've been addicted since my first Purchase in 2021!! read more

Best baked goods in all of Indiana! Everything they touch turns to gold! I'm addicted to there scones with a late'. What better way to start your day? Wish they would expand one day to making bread too(wink wink). Then I would never have to leave the neighborhood. Keep up the good work my queens! read more

This is my favorite bakery in Bloomington. Their pecan bars are a slice of heaven. They made my daughter's birthday cake and it was amazing. read more

Two Sticks Bakery - Bakeries Near Me - Bloomington, Indiana

Visiting Bloomington for three weeks we decided to try out the local flavors. It wasn't until our last few days that we discovered this new and delicious spot. The baked goods were fresh, and super tasty. Tried the peach turnover, yum. Wife tried the Pesto Pastry, she loved it. Later we picked up a chocolate chip cookie, still warm from the oven, delish. If you enjoy high quality bakeries, your tastebuds will be delighted. Do yourself a favor and visit Two Sticks. read more

Very helpful and kind workers. When I went the selection was small but I went on a Saturday at 1pm and it was explained that the selection is often pretty picked over on Saturday afternoons, which is reasonable since they want to sell out each day. I had a peanut butter brownie which was chewy and fudgy and delicious and a gingerbread shortie which was probably the best expresso drink I've had in a few years. I'll be back! read more

I had a slice of lemon cake and a cinnamon roll. It was really good! All bread and desert look really delicious. I would love to revisit!

if I could leave 10 stars, I would. I'm a bit of a flaneur and have traveled the world experiencing all types of bakeries and coffee shops, and it really does not get better than this. on top of that, they have fantastic coffee and lattes with made-in-house sauces. and even slightly higher above that, the people are incredible. Amanda and the crew really know what they're doing. if you're even remotely close to the area, DO NOT MISS OUT! :) read more

We live nearby and visit most weekends. We love the quality and the espresso drinks but wish there were more savory options. It seems more of a dessert shop than a bakery. Update- they've increased their savory options. Thanks! read more

Came here the other day, late afternoon. There was not a huge selection left but I asked for a recommendation and I have to say was blown away with this simple but amazing chocolate chip cookie. Such a cute local place. I can't wait to come back. They are also following much appreciated strictly COVID precautions. read more

Housemade syrup is delicious. The butterscotch is my favorite. I went back the next day and tried a different flavor and it was delicious. The chive frittata was so good! read more

Oh my goodness, one of each please. This is the most unique bakery I have ever been to. The hand pie with squash, goat cheese, and sweet potatoes is unlike anything I have ever eaten. The crust is the best I've ever had. And then, the apple turnover....holy cow. Great hot teas, great sweets. Easily 5 stars. Possibly 6. read more

Love this place. Imagine the best bakery you've been to....it's a lot better than that.

We went during Covid and they didn't have the selection I was hoping for. Though the items we did get were super good!! I was expecting like a baked goods case with lots of options and there were only a few choices left. read more

I love this cute business. It's a nice walk from my residence. The lattes are great but I wish they toned down the cardamom a notch-that's just personal preference. The deserts are drool-worthy. I've tried the cinnamon rolls, coffee cake and the carrot cake. Absolutely the best bakery I've had in Bloomington. I also appreciate their tiny local art table as well as the tiny bar. read more

First visit to Two Sticks happened yesterday. There are only two parking spots, but by Jove at 11:45 on a Friday I managed to grab one. This bakery is contemporary and well organized. The young man working was friendly. I'd hoped to buy a cherry birthday pie, but learned although that is not a daily offering, it can be special ordered. Not wanting to leave without trying something, I ordered a cinnamon roll,a cream cheese chive scone and a cup of coffee to go. The scone was mouthwateringly excellent. Saving the cinnamon roll for later...it'beautiful to see. The coffee was hearty served black. My bill was around 8 dollars. Wish I'd taken a photo of that scone before I ate it. I'm looking forward to the next visit. There is sooo much to try. read more

Best bakery and coffee place in town hands down. They use high quality ingredients and it shows. Everything is always freshly made (watch out because stuff can sell out!) and the portion sizes are generous. They offer a couple of vegan and/or gluten free options as well, which are delicious. Their oat milk lattes are so creamy (i.e. they have the consistency and taste of a proper latte, unlike some non-dairy options that can be watery and not that tasty) and they have a vegan, gluten-free, oatmeal chocolate chip cookie that is to die for. So chocolately and gooey - better than a lot of regular chocolate chip cookies I've had. The staff are super friendly and obviously have a lot of passion for their work. Seating is limited, so it's more of a take-away place, but they do have a few spots indoors and an cute outdoor patio as well. I highly recommend! read more

Just tried this place and it was great! Got my husband a pecan bar and I tried the day old gluten free, vegan cookie. Hubby said the pecan bar was really good (he's a pecan pie expert). I really wanted to see what this place was made of and figured if they can rock a day old, gluten free, vegan cookie they were keepers. I wasn't disappointed...it was VERY good. We will be back soon...nicely done ladies! read more

OMG! Hand pie! Delicious! We liked everything else we got too including the cinnamon roll and a savory scone. Latte was tasty too and the staff was very friendly. The space is beautiful. We enjoyed our treats outside on the patio. A perfect Saturday morning! read more

Oh, wow....this place leaves me almost speechless! Best bakery I've ever visited, hands down. I am an accomplished home baker and therefore have a high standard for baked goods. These women blow my standards out of the water! I am systematically trying something new every time I go and each item is better than the last. Counter staff are extremely friendly and helpful, displays are beautiful, coffee delicious. And they even make complimentary granola for your pups!! I'm a loyal, die-hard fan for life read more

Everything I've had here is FANTASTIC! My favorites are the pizza focaccia (the best value imo too, $4 and it is filling enough for lunch on its own!) and the chocolate danish. But you can't go wrong with the cookies, any cake, cinnamon rolls or anything. I haven't tried the hand pies yet, but it's next on my list. The people there are also friendly. read more

Just stopped here for a latte and a chocolate chip cookie. The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was cozy and hip. The chocolate chip cookie was AMAZING! I'll be back! read more

I placed an order for my husbands birthday cake as a last minute & was pleased that I could pick it up on his birthday just a couple days later! The cake was made just as I requested. It was a beautiful cake, moist & the flavor was amazing. Everyone loved this cake & asked where I had it made. The owners are also the bakers. They did an amazing job. Thanks to everyone at Two Sticks Bakery‼ read more

I came here today and found he food looked terrific and tasted even better. I had a chocolate chip cookie and rhubarb turnover. Both, usually tasty items, were exceptional. I venture to say it was the best turnover I ever had... it basically melted in my mouth!!! The staff of this place is so friendly and so knowledgeable. They've got treats for everyone, savory and sweet, all are delicious and fresh every day. My partner was especially happy with the chocolate chunk and sugar cookies. Will definitely come back! read more

My wife and I are here about once a week and typically eat something in and take something home as well. It's also one of the places that we feel the need to bring visitors to. We have enjoyed everything we have had. I tend to like more savory items, so i typically get a focaccia or savory scone. The everyseed scone is outrageously good. My wife has ordered almost every sweet thing they make and loves all of them! She really likes the chocolate danish and the peanut butter slab pie. If ordering a cake, they do such a good job. I got a tres leches for my birthday this year and I'm not sure I will be satisfied with anything else for my future birthdays! Also, staff is incredibly friendly. Strongly recommend coming here! read more

Everything here is perfection...! The pastries are made from the finest ingredients and coffee game is strong. The person/people in the kitchen are incredibly talented. Everything is made with tender loving care and you sure can taste it. I work at cafes a lot and sometimes, things have similar base flavoring despite being different items. This is not at all the case here... we are so lucky to have Two Sticks Bakery in little Bloomington! read more

Incredible. We're all blown away. Not only the best bakery I've ever been to, but I honestly think it's the best thing I've ever tasted.
