A high quality local coffee roasting company. For people who are coffee experts, this place is a gem. It's the best locally roasted coffee in Fresno. Now they have a storefront too which is equally as amazing. The family that owns this place is usually working there and they are very kind to customers. Whenever we visit, my husband asks about the newest roast of coffee, which is almost always freshly roasted! They also have rolled ice cream which is delicious. Two Cities Review on roll up ice cream. This is the third roll up ice venue we have tried in the greater Fresno area. Each one has unique qualities. The atmosphere is very nice and the ice cream came out pretty quickly. However, if you want to see your ice cream being made, pay attention or ask them to call your name out. They also drizzle honey on top of some of the flavors, so if you are allergic to honey or just don't want honey, just let them know when you order. The variety of flavors and being able to customize is limited, but changes frequently. read more

I've only had their Nutella latte and I absolutely love it... for maybe an hour. I'm a slow drinker and usually take 5hrs to finish my drinks so I usually ask for no ice in my drinks. Iced drinks will be good right away and completely ruined by the melted ice in about an hour on a hot day. The lady said they can't do no ice (even though all you have to do is physically not scoop the ice and not pour it into the cup) but they can do lite ice. Every time I get lite ice, it's like ice in half the cup and my drink is completely ruined. Also would go there more often if they opened later than 3 since I live on the opposite side of town. read more

Hands down the best coffee I've ever had! Coming from the PNW, that means a lot. The coffee shop has a great atmosphere but let's be honest, I would drink their coffee in a cardboard box if I had to. The staff have all been very polite and accommodating. The other lower reviews seem to be from people who should probably just stick to drinking from their keurig. if I could give the coffee and food a rating, it'd be 5 stars. if I could give the customer service a rating, it'd be a 2-3. the older woman is AWFUL at customer service while her husband, I believe, is AMAZING. I have been wanting to write a review from the first "bad experience" I had gotten, but I chose not to because everyone has bad days and sometimes we just have to breathe and "let it go". when the coffee shop first opened, I walked in and was greeted by an older man, I never asked him his name but I from what I've gained, he's the owner. my boyfriend is super into coffee and loves to try local business' and support them, as do I. the beans he had wanted were sold out but the owner said he was going back to roast some more and could have a fresh bag by the end of the night for me if I wanted to come back. I agreed to coming back and was so thankful and walked away thinking, "wow, wonderful customer service! can't wait to bring friends and family here!" came back later that evening to get the bag of beans and his wife seemed a little irritated with him that he made a "special" trip for a bag of beans... I just grabbed the bag and thanked him again for doing that and left. I work on a very strict and tight schedule so when I can make phone orders, I do. its very easy and super convenient, right?? in between clients, I called and placed an order for an iced penguin ( yum! ) and a chicken salad croissant. when I walked in to pick up my order, the wife was at the register and I had said I was there to pick up my phone order! the husband peeked around from making coffees and said, "oh you're ___?" I said yes, thank you so much for having this ready to go for me!! the wife very rude, said to him, "did you already ring this order up?" he said, "well no, I figured we could do it when she got here." she rolled her eyes and looked at me and told me the total. I thanked her for doing it for me, as I wasn't sure if they did phone orders. she said, "we don't do phone orders but apparently we are tonight!" I felt beyond stupid and a little disrespected. I understand if she was frustrated with him but to handle the situation the way she did was rude and very unprofessional. now today, today is where I draw the line. I had 30 min to spare and was craving an iced penguin and croissant sandwich, my normal order. the daughter had taken my order and told me about the new iced coffee they are trying. I told her I usually get the iced latte but I would try it. after the drink was made, I tried it and didn't really enjoy it the way I do the iced latte. I asked one of the girls if I could just pay the difference for a regular iced penguin latte. she said shed be right back and went to the back and talked about it for at least 5 minutes and returned without saying anything to me. I was irritated but had to leave for an appointment. I got to my car and was upset because I was just going to throw the coffee away. but I REALLY wanted that coffee. I was craving it all morning and we all know how cravings are, we want them! so I walked back in and ordered a whole new coffee and paid for it. the owner happened to walk up while the girl was handing me my change and said, "did you get an okay to give a refund?" the young girl looked nervous so I looked at her and said, "its not a refund, I bought a new coffee. I didn't know that fixing my drink was going to be a big issue." her response made me NEVER want to come back again. "well if we had every customer not happy with their drink and want a different one, we'd lose product and lose money. you need to think about that." I was speechless and and had nothing to say because it wouldn't have been nice. I believe that customer service and word of mouth make or break any business or person. I can honestly say I will NEVER be back and if any of my friends want to have Bible study or meet up for coffee dates in the morning, I will have us go elsewhere. I really hope the owner shapes up her attitude and gains a little more respect for patrons and learns a little thing they call "hospitality". read more

So I have only been here once, but I will most certainly be back! The employee behind the register was very friendly. She said hello right when I walked in the door. I was honest with her and told her it was my first time here, and where I usually go. I told her what I like, chocolate or caramel flavored stuff, iced, latte type stuff. She suggested the penguin with oatmilk to me. She could see that I was a bit skeptical about the oatmilk, but I told her to roll with it. It took a few minutes, and I sat in a somewhat uncomfortable chair (it was like a low barstool), but the end result was phenomenal! You'd think you're drinking cow's milk in this penguin drink (I'm still sipping it)! Oh this is so good! I can't wait to come back and sample more of their offerings! read more

Love, love, love two cities coffee! It's one of my favorite coffee joints. The coffee is consistently great and the atmosphere always lively. They have tables in the front and back, so there never should be a hard time finding a place to sit. If I had one complaint and it's a minor one, it would be that they aren't open on Sunday, and that is one of my favorite days to get coffee with my sister or friends. But other than that, their customer service is great, and the coffee is even better! read more

Really wanted to like this place-- but come on guys. If you advertise a tea bar, you should really try to have some better tea options. I tried to get the peach iced tea, it was unavailable. So then I ordered the regular house iced tea only to discover that I paid 4 dollars for Lipton (or something incredibly similar, and very basic)! The lovely establishment across the way has an amazing house iced tea and for a significantly cheaper price. My husband is a coffee guy and was pleased with the coffee, however, he said it wasn't good enough to justify the price AND they only had two flavor options-- vanilla and hazelnut (neither of which he likes). The third wave vibe is cool, but you've gotta have the menu to back it up. Maybe the "limited menu" thing is why? Hoping to hear of improvements before going back. read more

Cute place, it's fairly comfy for being so small, the ice cream is tasty, and service is good. However: - the owner absolutely would not tell me the origin of their espresso. I can't stand Brazilian espresso so I asked her where theirs came from and she got kinda defensive. She wouldn't even confirm that it DIDN'T come from Brazil. The origin of an espresso/other coffee is usually a selling point, so that's a little suspicious. - their espresso dressed up in a drink is fine. I actually really like the vanilla cardamom latte. Their espresso naked in a latte is not. It tastes the way a wet ashtray smells, to be brutally honest. Which is not unique to this place but I judge the quality of a cafe based on how well they pull espresso. Two Cities doesn't quite pass the muster here. read more
