I am looking to be riding again within a few more days! I also wanted a second set of eyes to check all my work and inspect everything once in a while, so I dropped my bike off at Fairfax Cycles. The main service I requested was to replace the front fork and exchange the fork and brake oils. I bought the Ohlins fork from Partszilla and dropped it off at the shop. I was missing some other small parts needed, and they were able to order it for me. I had a budget I wanted to stick to, and they were able to work with me to meet my budget and the services I needed. They were very flexible. For the amount of work done on my bike, I'd say the price was fair. The place is very busy all year round, though. Please set your expectations. You'll likely have to wait to get serviced. You'll also need to pick up ASAP. I felt good about all the services performed on the bike. The installed Ohlins fork makes the bike so much better. Will I come back, a definite yes.

Took them over 9 months to put my dirt bike bike back together and when they did it would not…read morechange gears. After another 6 months I got it back only to find they didn't route the stator wires correctly and the wires got cut by the chain on the first ride. They definitely didn't test it or take the needed steps to make for a successful repair. They were supposed to fix the clutch cable on my other ATV and when I got it back it had a broken link on my drive chain and it almost damaged my engine case. They even charged me extra for a safety inspection and said they went over everything and only needed the cable.

I picked up a new piston and was having trouble replacing it myself. By luck I ran across his shop. Reached out and he was incredibly responsive and accommodating. I brought the brake master cylinder into him, went to the store down the road, came back and it was fixed. He gave great suggestions for bleeding the cylinder and then the brake lines. Brakes are back to normal. All good.
