Started work on it immediately the day after and did as requested, even as far as to give the ATV a good look over to make sure nothing else would need work. Communication is a bit lacking, but when speaking to multiple individuals it can be expected that there will be some confusion/conflicting information. The ATV was initially deemed ready, but as they went over the list with my husband they realized they'd forgotten to address the brake issue. A day delay, but not a big deal. Will happily return for routine service of our ATV's and Motorcycle's without question.

Was told I needed, new battery, & 60,000 mile maintenance also to the tune of $1700!!! When I said no thanks & picked bike up I was given a hard time & was told the bike didn't pass inspection. Something about loose spokes. I drove my bike home & noticed the front brakes didn't work! I was told by Red, if I had gotten the 60,000 mile maintenance everything would have been fine. So did they intentionally mess up my bike? I don't know but I'll never go back to them!!!! & I can't ride my bike.

Then after getting it back a second time, more issues persistent. We took it home to fix the issues ourselves, only to find that there were now lore issues after he worked on it. All bolts that this guy touched were not tightened correctly, and we were missing parts that we know were on the bike before we took it in for the service. This is the worst work I have ever seen on a vehicle, and I recommend you never bring your vehicles here for service.

I took my ATV to ED the owner and was told that my bike would be fixed in two to three hours and out the door for a simple fuel problem. This shop had my ATV for over a month and fixed absolutely nothing. They fucked up everything they touched. I called to check on my bikes progress several times over the past few weeks while they had it in their shop and it was always an excuse or bullshit lie. They have no quality knowledgable help ever around in their shop available. The people answering the phones when I always called are clueless about bikes and no mechanics were ever able to be reached when calling. When telling the owner ED to STOP working on my bike that I was going to come get it and take it elsewhere Ed stated no one was going to be able to fix my ATV. I told him to get my bike ready for pickup ASAP! I know differently. When showing up at the shop for pickup he told me my bike was in the back of the shop and had me and my small child put the bike out onto the trailer without helping. No customer service. When looking at the bike while loading it I noticed that many bike parts were missing. They were unable to be found in the shop or over the phone by contacting his so called half ass mechanic's that are never on duty or show up to work. When asking for a printed receipt of my shocking 400.00 bill for absolutely nothing being fixed and the missing bike parts, Ed the owner had no available printer for providing a paper receipt. I hung around his shop for almost an hour looking for my ATV parts and waiting for a damn paper receipt. The ATV parts were never found nor did I ever get a paper receipt. Before exiting the building Ed the owner stated that my bike had major electrical problems. I told him that he didn't know what the F**k he was talking about. No employees or mechanics showed up for work today I asked... Ed replied good help is very hard to find... Then after being charged an additional 3% for using my credit card on their machine I decided to leave. TIME TO RIDE will not be in business much longer. The word is already out on the streets and bikers are talking about their bad experiences with this shop... It should be named TIME TO RETIRE... The good news is that If you are looking for a Good Professional Bike Mechanic reach out to Will Clark at BOUNCE BACK CYCLES LLC. in Fredericksburg VA. 571-991-8727 This guy was awesome he heard what I had been through and took my bike in immediately after taking it from TIME TO RIDE Will Clark diagnosed the problem with my ATV in the parking lot and had it fixed and loaded back onto the trailer to go home within three hours tops. No electrical problems were found at all like I was told from ED the owner at TIME TO RIDE. My gut instincts told me to quickly remove my bike from ED's shop. Bad experience!!! Will's secretary, his shop and his equipment are all top notch. quality and professionalism like Will's is hard to find these days. He is a humble one man mechanic that owns a bike shop and very knowledgable. Will doesn't mind teaching or informing his clients about the progress of their bikes. I hope that this post brings your business in Fredericksburg VA more bikes than you can fill your parking lot and garage with. My hat goes off to you sir. I'll definitely spread the love..

When you are looking for a service such as a wired trailer hitch, you may find a cheaper product…read morebut you get what you pay for. Today I purchased my 3rd hitch since 2008. Yes, I may trade SUV's too often but I like to have them equipped with a hitch. I got a quote from John who is very personable and a true sales guy. Maybe not always exact with his part numbers and quotes. I had an appointment today and when I showed up they were ready for me. After consulting with Vince, his more experienced partner, it was determined the wiring harness quote was off by $175.00. This purchase is a cost/benefit equation so I had to make a decision. After considering all the options, I decided to go ahead with it. Utijlmatey it was $91.00 more. Vince stepped in and helped with the labor of taking apart the rear interior to get the job done. Wiring a German made SUV isn't always an exact science. The Audi dealership quoted $1,200.00, I would never pay that but it was a point of reference. I felt confidant that I was getting quality work here and they would stand behind it. I was a bit bothered they were off the original estimate. It was just that...an estimate so...all is well that ends well.

A decade ago, Truckin Thunder quoted me $1.5k to install step-ups on my Sprinter Passenger van. I…read morewent home and bought a set on Amazon for $200 and installed them myself. My mistake was not splurging the extra $300 for a step that ran the whole length of the passenger side, rather than just two small steps for the driver and front passenger. Fast forward to earlier this year and my wife wants a step for the rear passengers so her elderly parents can get in and out more comfortably. She asked around and other Sprinter owners in the area told her that Truckin Thunder was the place to go. I'm busier these days so I figured it was worth the labor cost to have someone else take care of it. Learn from my sad tale of woe and incompetence, reader -- it was not. We picked up the van today and the long step on the passenger side is visibly crooked -- not on one axis either, but two! And not only that, but the step is so far under the body of the van that you can barely get your toes on it. It doesn't function as a step! After examining it, my wife called Truckin Thunder and explained that they had installed it incorrectly. Without even waiting for an explanation, the rude manager cut her off and said, "No we didn't." She said that it was a worse step than what it was replacing and could she have the old one back -- no. She told him that he sold her a step that couldn't be stepped on, that failed to meet the requirements that he gave her, and she wanted to return it -- no returns, she was told. I'll never go here again, that's for sure.

I've tried many times to give them chances but far too often I find myself paying to get something fixed and it doesn't even fix the problem. I feel as though I've wasted so much money with this place. I will say that the business is friendly, professional and they're prices are competitive but if they don't fix the problem in which I initially brought it in for, that kinda defeats the purpose. When they actually fix what needs to be fixed, they're spot on and do very good work. My recommendation and/or suggestion, get a second opinion first, that way you can compare what they find to another qualified mechanic. In my opinion, I'd rather them be honest and say that they can't fix the problem rather then have me waste so much money on things that won't.
