Okay so must auto repair shops you expect them to be mediocre in smell and appearance. This place exceeds that. First, for big adult kids like me they have a clapboard wall in their waiting area and.... In their bathroom. The waiting area has a vending machine with the best snacks and drinks, a charging station with the USB cables for all devices, a play area for the kids, TV's, and a coffee station. The facility is top notch clean and smells really good. I came on the very last day to get a state inspection and there's no wait. Even the bathroom is great. Most stations look hideous where you feel like you shouldn't touch anything or else you will get dirty. This place is far from that. The front desk staff are really nice and personable. Came in to check my illuminated emergency break light. In addition to finding out what was wrong, they also found some other cause for concern and even took me back to see for myself and explain what exactly is going on and what everything is. Very helpful and brings me to my next point. Communication and honesty!! Hard to find an honest mechanic that isn't trying to tack on extra things just to make a buck. They weren't pushy either at the time of check out. The front desk woman was very pleasant and sweet, the mechanic men who I believe were in charge of the shop were extremely sweet. Not to mention crystal who was running the diagnostic on my car and helped elaborate specifically what it all meant. Went there October 11 2021 sat in line 3 hours to get a vehicle inspection for 2022. After they inspected my vehicle I went to check on it. My 2021 October sticker was valid until the end of the month. They scraped my sticker and had a failed sticker on my car. I went in to pay for the inspection. They told me the reason why and no offer to repair and re-inspect the lady working there with blonde hair knew I was upset and she thought it was funny. I left and went elsewhere to get my inspection and repair. These people are unprofessional and I can not see how they stay in business but they will never get my or my friends business again. Stafford is not that big and word does get around and also at Quantico as well. read more

This place was warm and welcoming from the moment I walked in until the moment I left. They were honest and told me that my car was not worth the repair cost. For this service I only gave 4 stars because my final cost was a little higher than my estimate, but it was still fair because the extra part was unexpected. My family and I have been going to this shop with all our cars since 1978. Jimmy and Kevin are honest and will tell you what is needed and options to the repair. If it isn't right they will make it right within reason. I have recommended them to all my friends, co-workers and relatives over the years and will continue to do so. It started off like this, I called the shop and the service receptionist, Emily, answered the phone. I told her what I needed to be done and she gave me a estimated quote over the phone. I came in the next morning, to have my brakes done. She was able to help me get in and get out of here fast! And Plus they have GREAT WIFI!! I was able to do accomplish a lot of work while I waited. How the helllll does this place have such good reviews? I went in with my SUV for a $166 diagnostics check and they told me it will be done in an hour and a half and they would call. This is just to check why I have a light on my dash, that's it. Of course no calls or updates I had to keep calling to figure out when it's going to be done. Well 2 days later I finally got it back.. I let this slide because I just want the light OFF and if they can "diagnose" it in 2 days then whatever! Well of course they can't big surprise and they told me they can do their part for $800 but I have to ultimately take it to the dealer. Like what? So I'm going to pay 800 bucks for you to do your part and then take my car to the dealer so they can actually fix it? haha! What? Also another nice little surprise was not only are they not capable of fixing the issue but they created MORE ISSUES woww when I got my car back I had MORE DASH LIGHTS ON ALMOST ALL OF THEM. My right headlight was OUT also like what the hell? I didn't find that out till the next morning when a cop told me. With all my dash lights on in my face from one stop auto I was like .. of course it is. When I called the lady with an attitude at the front desk she said it wasn't us and that headlights do go out all the time it's just a coincidence that it was on before I took it in, and now it's off less than 12 hours later. Lol get outtaa here I haven't had either headlight on my car go out the entire 3 years I've had it so it's just a coincidence that I just had my car worked on for 2 days and I know parts were taken off and na it couldn't be them and they would have to CHARGE me again to fix it. Obviously I'm going to fix that myself but damn the way they handled it.. very poor. They would probably of charged me another diagnostic fee to top it off too! Like did you not even bother to check on your work at all? So that is a nice $166 waste of money because now when I took it the dealer they had to run their own diagnostics check for another $130 which makes sense but yea "one stop" got beat in price by a DEALER like what? rofl! The dealer also fixed the headlight for free and I didn't even TELL them about it LOL and oh guess what they said my shit was UNPLUGGED.. yeaa the headlight AND those extra lights that came on the dash after I received it back from One Stop .. yeaaa that's so sketch. They also fixed my light on my dash. I have never trusted dealers because of word of mouth and horror stories but damn One Stop Auto made the Hyundai dealer look good damnn that's sad. The guy who worked on my car was some arrogant bald guy who said he could easily fix it after I told him it's not gonna be that easy after explaining the situation. I don't give the lowest rating for places that easily. This place truly earned it like they were participating in a contest for being absolute shit. Whenever someone asks anything about mechanics I'll be sure to make sure they don't go to one stop auto the worst shop I've ever been to and I've been to jiffy lube. Was driving back from DC this past weekend and had brake problems. Started panicking at 3:30pm looking for a place to fix it so we could be on our way in the morning (staying with friends for the night). Called one place and got a condescending response of how they "get this story all the time" about travelers breaking down in their area. Called One Stop Auto Service Center, was told to bring it in and they'd look at it RIGHT AWAY! While they looked at our car one of the owners came in to check on us and asked if we needed anything to let him know. Not only did they find the parts we needed, but they STAYED LATE TO FIX OUR CAR SO WE COULD GET ON THE ROAD!! By 6:45 pm we were able to leave with a fully fixed car! Went from freaking at at 3:30 pm to having it fixed in 3 hours as a result of the hard work this place put in! Only downside was that it cost us an arm, leg, and rights to our firstborn child to pay for labor and parts, but seeing the service we got (the owner checked with us again to confirm the right diagnosis for our car while it was being fixed), the fact they were able to find the parts, and how they stayed late to fix it, I didn't mind as much. The owners happened to be in and out, and I had the pleasure of speaking with both of them in the course of my two cars being worked on. They are both easy to talk to, helpful and seem to go above and beyond what the average repair shop offers. They took the time to explain to me different aspects of the service I was getting.
