Excellent experience and final product from start to finish. Had my wheels and exhaust tips coated. From initial phone call where staff answered all my detailed questions patiently with ample info, kept me updated and delivered on time and with great product. Totally recommend for all enthusiasts.
Ok. First off. They are probably not the cheapest. I called around to get my steel bumper powder coated. They were all around the same price or a bit cheaper but not by much. But for the quality, they do amazing work. They sand blasted my bumper, then applied a rust protective undercoating, then powder coated my bumper in textured black. Took less than a week to do and they wrapped up my bumper in order to make sure it didn't get dented up while I transported it home. Very good customer service and quality. Highly recommend them!!!
The guys at NV Coatings did an amazing job on the wheels of my Tesla Model 3 Performance. The powder coated wheels turned out flawlessly, I couldn't be more excited about how they turned out. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking into getting their wheels coated. They also offer a deal with @Tabula Rasa Fine Auto Detailing for ceramic coating of the wheels for extra protection.
Awesome experience!!!! First, they have excellent customer service. If you have any questions or want them to explain the process, especially if you're thinking about getting your wheels painted, they will go above and beyond to make sure you understand. With that being said, I felt very comfortable having NV Coatings powder coat my wheels. They ordered some black lug nuts for me as well. When I picked up my vehicle, I knew the right decision was made. Thanks Sam and Rafael.
I came here with my C4 Fab bumper after calling 3 shops in NOVA. They had the best price for me. The shop also allowed me to have the item shipped to them, to avaoid a home freight delivery charge. I left the bumper with them over the weekend to give them plenty of time to do a good job. The bumper had a little media blast to remove the mild rust from the manufacturer and shipping then 5mil of PC applied. Coating came out cleanly, with no bubbles. They did a good job of coating the inside as much as possible. (Only the very corner, inside a tight enclosed corner was missed, but there was no way to fit the gun in there.) The owner did tell me that almost 90% of their work is wheels and small items, so consider this if looking to PC a larger item (like mine). I'll be coming back for any smaller trims/accents I decide to add.
Great experience at NV. Dropped my RR sport off, picked it up 2 days later. Great work changing my current wheels from silver to satin black and they look amazing. Quick and easy, and reasonably priced as well! Will be back for any future powdercoating needs.
NV Coatings turned my old, beat up wheels into a gloss back powder coated things of beauties! The shop and crew are first-rate - very professional, helpful, and went out of their way to answer all my questions and provide quality service. I definitely recommend them to anyone/everyone. Talk with Sam - he's good to go!
I usually don't leave reviews, and this is way past overdue. But I gotta give it to props to NV Coating and Sam. He was more than helpful and knowledgeable in helping me select the right color and finish to my wheels. I completely underestimated the process and the wide variety of different combination of colors and finishes that were out there. I honestly got pretty overwhelmed, but Sam really took his time, provided me some recommendations and pointed me to the right direction. Sam updated me along the process, and was flexible in the midst of my indecisiveness and million of questions. I really think the price you pay for the quality of work and service end up being an amazing deal. He not only coated the wheels , but repaired the curb damage and replaced the valves on my existing tires. The shop is expanding and will be providing more wheel repair business in the near future. I cannot recommend them enough, and you know they are doing a good job when they are always backed up with work!
Amazing job by Sam and company! This Jeep is becoming a head turner as a result of their attention to detail. Thanks for the quick turnaround and professionalism, guys. A must for the discerning consumer.
I'd like to take a moment to thank NV coatings for doing a great job on our performance model three and model S Wheels. This is a highly professional unit, well-run perfectionists. I can't recommend them enough if you want a job well done they are on your team!
I looked at several powder-coat shops on and off for awhile. I didn't have any luck finding one that would take my car, remove the wheels, unmount the tires and then put it all back together. This shop was the only one in the area I could find to do it. The price was extremely reasonable given the fact it included taking the wheels off, and removing the minor curb rash I had. I even had plastidip on my rims, which was probably a pain to remove, and they didn't upcharge me at all for that, which wouldn't be uncommon. I opted for the sputtered black and it looks incredible and it was not much more expensive than just black gloss, which I appreciated. My rims literally look branch new now and have a nice metallic glimmer that most OEM wheels don't have. Their customer service is top notch, and they were very open and honest with the process. They walked me through what would be done and what had been done, before and after the process. They verified every detail of what I wanted to make sure I was happy with the end result. They had the work done in the exact time they said they would. Honestly, I am looking at other parts of my car I can have coated by them now and no doubt I would recommend them to anyone.

NVCoatings are true professionals. They're patient, prompt to respond and in my opinion the best in the business. I am extremely picky and hard to please person, and they went.above and beyond and nailed this project! I will be bringing my other car to them as well! read more

Outstanding work! Quality that's evident! They were up front and honest. I had my wife's rims for a 2015 Honda Accord (factory) powder coated. Also, Rafael and Sam were extremely knowledgeable about the different colors and best application. Furthermore, they're one of the few powder coating locations that'll allow you to leave your vehicle, not just drop off the wheels. I would definitely use them again. Before and after attached, going from OEM base color to a Satin Black. read more

NV Coatings did a flawless job on my receiver hitch. Rafael advised me on what the best finish would be given my application and was very helpful from start to end. Not only was their customer service and quality of work exceptional, they were also punctual about when the job would be done. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get a quality powder coating job done. Scope of work: Brought in a scratched and rusting hitch receiver to be completely redone. Stripped the paint, media blasted the metal to remove rust, primed, and powder coated matte black. read more

I can't say enough great things about NV Coatings! Raphael was so helpful and patient on the phone answering my string of questions. The process was simple and everything went exactly as Raphael said it would. They even gave me a quick lift to Enterprise just down the road. The powder coat is AMAZING!!! Actually way better than the factory alloying. It's great and perfect and I'm so glad I trusted them! Thank you Raphael and your awesome team!!! read more

Not sure why there aren't more reviews for this place. They are located in the industrial area in Chantilly. Their shop is neat and well layed out. They have a small showroom of powder coated items. They had sample wheels with matte black which is exactly what I went with. They are busy and you can tell by all the stuff that are in different stages of the powder coat process. Like the others my wheels took about a week. The price was super competitive. To be honest with the way the wheels turned out I wouldn't mind paying a bit more (plus its so close to my house). I had 5 16x7 Aluminum mercedes wheels that I had coated and they turned out great. They were polished aluminum with clear coat that was peeling and they took care of it. When I picked up the wheels they saran wrapped or plastic wrapped the wheel surface to prevent any scratches. A nice touch and representative of the care they put into the process. I will definitely be using them for any future powder coating needs. Oh and they recently got a tire machine / balancer so they will be able to do tire installs soon too. The prices that were mentioned are very competitive. read more

I brought my Acura MDX to NV Coatings to get the wheels powder coated. Was told it would take 3 days and was called and told they were done in 2 1/2 days. Rafael and his NV Coatings Team did an excellent job. So, I brought my son's Subaru BRZ in a few months later. The wheels were powder coated gloss black and brake calipers painted red. Was told it would be a 3-4 day process. Car was done in 2 1/2 days. Also, Rafael pointed out that the aftermarket Motegi wheels did not have centering rings in them. No other dealer or tire installer had told me this in the past (the car was bought used with the aftermarkets already on). So, because of Rafael's input, the car now not only looks much better but after the centering rings were installed handles and rides much better. Definitely recommend NV Coatings!!!!! read more

I can't say enough good things about the guys at NV Coatings. They were quick to respond to emails and took the time to answer all of my questions. I originally just got matte black wheels for my Tesla Model 3, but ended loving it so much I went back to get my calipers powder coated red as well. I get compliments on my car all the time, they really did a fantastic job. read more

I had NV Coatings powder coat the wheels of my Tesal Model Y. They also painted the calipers red and added the Tesla logo. Rafael and Sam provided advice on the color selection and explained the whole process in details. Never hesitated to answer any questions or concerns. I am very satisfied with how the work turned out. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone. All the work is done at their shop. Others charge you more and send your wheels somewhere else to get the powder coating. Turn around was three days. Just drop the car off and they take care of everything. Car is kept safe inside the shop all the time, it does not sit out in the parking lot. read more

All around awesome experience. Their pricing matched or beat competitors, and fixing curb rash being included in the quote was a pleasant surprise. They have a variety of different finishes to choose from and a fast turnaround time. You can even leave your car with them if you need to. Sam was a really big help providing thorough information about the process and answering any questions I had. Amazing customer service and very happy with my wheels! read more

Great experience, reasonably priced. A somewhat unique job, I asked them to do a computer case in a top-coat, chameleon color with a starry effect and love the way it came out. The front panel has a ton of threaded holes for mounting hardware which all had to be masked off and I know that was a massive pain in the ass, so credit for the attention to detail. read more
