I dropped my motorcycle rims off 3 weeks ago for powder coating. The original color I wanted was gold, but Gary the owner spent 10 minutes explaining that he was never able top get the color right and in the end it looked bad. So I agreed with flat black, that was 2 weeks ago. Called him last week only to be told he was just starting to work on the wheels. All this week I receive no phone call, email text or anything. I drop by his shop and find out that NOTHING was done to the wheels except strip them. I will never do business with Gary Lamb or Extreme Powder Coating nor will I recommend ANYONE to use them. I got my wheels back and took them to AMERICA STRIPPING In Manassas. No back and forth on the colors, no excuses and this company has standards that EXTREME apparently does not know about when it comes to coating wheels! I usually do powder coating at home for all my restoration parts as amateur and beginner,this time I decided to go for the experts to do some parts for my new restoration project, few simple parts 31in motorcycle frame fuel tank fork and skid plate, after I chooses extreme for the good reputation and to buy time and quality finishing, I went there with my parts decided the color, agrees to the cost 400$ and the told me it well be finished in 3 weeks I said ok I well wait ending up waiting for 1 month and received a call, hey your parts are ready but there is some dirts and fading in color after all that time, the said we well repaint the fuel tank wich had more fading and after two weeks I got the fuel tank also with dirt and holes all over it and started leaking every where read more

I wasn't looking for a like new restoration so they worked with me to pick out a color that was close, but in stock so I didn't have to incur special order costs. Not happy with my work from Extreme. First and foremost see the pics. Bubbles in the finish on one side of my bumper. A hair in the finish on the other side and a chip at one of the holes that I assume will start rusting. I was originally told the work would be done in 2 weeks as I needed my truck for a weekend trip during that time. Two weeks would have been a Wednesday so I called that Monday to be sure the bumper was going to finished by Wednesday and was told yes. I called mid day Wednesday and spoke with someone else that told me they still had a lot of work to do before it was done. Needless to say I didn't get my bumper back for my trip and had to rent a pickup. One week later it was done but as you can see from the pics not a professional job. I considered going back but I can't be without my vehicle for another 3 weeks. Oh and they never called me even when I asked to be called with an estimate, I had to call 3 times for that and I had to call to find out the work was completed. read more

We have an old cast iron patio table, chairs, and bench that were severely weathered. We shopped around for a new set, but could never find anything that was nice and heavy like our old set. Gary picked it up, sandblasted it and did whatever he did to make it look beautiful again. It looks so fantastic.... Like brand new. Gorgeous job.
