I've been super disappointed that the last 3 times I've gone in, they have not done the correct soda. I will ask for Coke, they do Diet Coke. I ask for Dr Pepper, they do diet Dr Pepper. Worst service I've ever had. 10/08. The blonde girl with white nails in the drive thru rolled her eyes when I asked what the sugar free flavors were. Acted like I was a inconvenience going to the shop. She didn't even move from her CHAIR at the window. I realize this is a first job for many teenagers. But I worked at a soda shop and I absolutely would never do that to a customer. It's unfortunate that she's made it so I would never go back. FINALLY!!!! Somebody got the cookie and soda shoppe idea right. The drinks are good with all kinds of good suggested combos but the shinning stars at Sips are the cookies. They are out of this world good- almost too good since we went back twice in one weekend. They are fresh and delicious. This is one of my favorite dessert spots in town. I have an addiction for those soft, chewy and moist(hate this word) cookies. You can't go wrong with any of them, the peanut butter Nutella is one of my faves and I love all of them so that says a lot about that one. The price is moderate, I think, for the everyday cookies it's like $1.50 and the signature cookies are $1.75 , then specialty or the splurge flavors(Nutella cookie) are $2-$2.25 and that's not bad in my opinion. The only thing is that the dine-in space is very small and it can probably fit 10 people sitting down. Other than that it's awesome and worth every penny, the staff is very friendly and attentive, mostly teenage boys, it's clean and very cute vintage/ chic decor! Love everything here! So tasty. However, every time I come the price is different! I stick with a 44 oz flavored water almost every time and it's been anywhere from $1.07, $1.33 up to $2.14. Nothing crazy but something to pay attention to. It's just a little frustrating to have it be different every time. There have also been a couple times where I've been in line for way too long and no one has even taken my order. Omg!!! Ok let me start by saying thank you to Ruth Graves Wakefield who is responsible for the creation of the cookie that lead to the creation of SIPS!! This place is amazing in every sense of the word. The staff was sweet, the drinks are tasty and the cookies are addicting. I was hating the fact that I had to drive all the way to Salt Lake for a good cookie, but now that I've found Sips and it's convenient location in my town, I no longer have to make that dreadful drive. Although, as good as Sips is, if it was located in Salt Lake, I would enjoy that drive so much better. Sips may look a bit rough on the outside, but as quick as Layton is growing right now, I think a bit of chiseling will expose the diamond that Sips really is. Honestly, I love this place. My only problem is that in order to get to work on time I need to go there around 7:35 in the morning for my drink and cookie. Most of the time the Layton location is not open by the time I drive by between 7:30 and 7:45 yet their website says they will be open at 7:30. It was the perfect time to go. No wait and a delicious drink for my day. One day I pulled in thinking it was open because it was 7:40 and the two workers just kept peaking out at me and wouldn't come and help me. Even if they could have just told me they weren't ready to open or if there was a problem that would have helped. I waited a couple of minutes and then left and I haven't been back. I love their products and normally they have excellent customer service. They just aren't dependable when you go early in the morning. read more

I went to this location a couple of weeks ago and ordered 6 cotton candy sugar cookies and a drink and what I got was more like a lime flavored cream cheese frosting. The order came to about $16. I get home and realize they are not what I ordered so I drive back and let them know and the employees just looked at me and said "no those are the right ones" and I proceeded to tell them that they're not cotton candy flavored and they said "well maybe a lime fell on it and I don't know what you want me to do about it" anyway I didn't expect royal treatment or anything but I just felt like they had major attitude and weren't trying to make it right in the least bit. I know from working in customer service that you always do your best to make the customer happy and that those girls couldn't have cared less if they tried-they were more worried about getting back to their phones which I saw them get on as soon as I pulled away. read more
