I stopped in for dinner one evening. There were no patrons when I arrived, but plenty of staff. The staff were blah. They were not interested in proving any type of customer service. Honestly, they acted like " why did she come in here"? In regard to the food. I ordered a salad with shrimp. It was just a salad. Something you can get for less from salad bars like Publix or Whole Foods. I don't I will be returning. read more

Nice quick dinner for the family that won't break the bank. Most of the employees are indifferent when we come in but there's at least one nice lady who is super helpful and will bring your stuff to the table when she sees you struggling with kids. Twisted kitchen is not bad for a quick pasta place. I always make my own so I can't say how the suggested bowls are. The veggies always seem fresh, which is a plus. read more

I've been to this location a few times and have always had a pretty pleasant experience. You'll find wraps, pasta dishes, and salads all of which you customize to your liking or pick one of the creations from the menu. With this being a casual spot, you walk in and place your order and you can watch them make your food as you wait to pay. The staff always ask if you want to add anything extra, some free and some not, and will also provide some suggestions on what to add to your dish which I appreciate. I usually stick with a chicken Caesar wrap that comes with grilled chicken, bacon, Romano cheese, caesar dressing, romaine lettuce and I'll add sun dried tomatoes to be a little different. You can get your wrap toasted if you like and it actually makes the wrap even better. The food is delicious and always fills me up. I do think it's a little on the pricier side but can't complain to much since the quality of what I'm getting is always good. You can add chips, a side pasta or side salad to your meal, and they also have cookies, cannolis, and other sweet treats to go along with your meal. You can't go wrong with Twisted Kitchen if your in the mood for something fresh! read more

Twisted Kitchen is a customizable pasta bar, where you can choose your proteins, pasta shape, sauce(s), and add-ons. There are a few franchises throughout Atlanta, but I was especially excited to see them open one up here on South Cobb, which seems to be a haven for every single fast food operation imaginable. Twisted Kitchen seems to be the healthier answer to all the Del Tacos, Krystals, and Krispy Kremes variety of food that pockmark this busy road (though if you walk down the road to get a doughnut dessert, I'm sure that's enough steps to count as exercise). I went with a cavatappi pasta (rice noodles available for those seeking gluten-free options) with Beyond Meat sausage (tofu also available for vegetarians). I believe a standard order allows you to add four toppings from the mix-ins bar, which includes various vegetables and cheeses. When I couldn't choose between the marinara and Alfredo sauce, the woman preparing my order helpfully directed me to a lovely third option with a perfectly pink hue that had clearly been prepared for indecisive folks like me. Then it was time for them to prepare the meal in a saucepan right before my eyes. My husband's order turned out to be a little lukewarm, and they were nice enough to not only offer to reheat it, but prepare the order from scratch (we didn't want them to, but felt touched that they'd even be willing to do so). At custom-made joints like this one, it's hard to rate the food because it's really up to how well you choose the flavors that work for you. But as far as the quality of ingredients and preparation, I'd say everything was tasty enough. We also selected a side order of Caesar salad from the prepared-and-packaged section that was a great accompaniment to our meal, but I thought it was a little overpriced for the amount of salad within. Though we (and most others) were coming in for the pasta, I should note that there are also wraps and salads on the menu that I believe are just as customizable as the pasta entrees. read more

This is a solid fast casual restaurant if you're in the area and want a quick bite to eat. You can choose from salad, pasta or wraps. We were there for a quick lunch and got the southwest wrap and the Italian wrap. Both were tasty and had plenty of flavor, and the ingredients were fresh. You can choose to have the ingredients of your wrap heated on the stove, or cold. I went with heated for the Italian wrap, which I thought was good because it melted the cheese onto the chicken. There were two people behind the counter making our wraps (you can also build your own wrap or pasta bowl - customizing the toppings), and they were helpful and friendly. We also tried an apple caramel cookie, and that was probably the best part of the meal (granted I have a sweet tooth). There's plenty of parking in this shopping center, and we saw that they also cater if you're looking for an upcoming event. read more

Pretty sure I saw a 100 Health Score, which is ALWAYS a great starting point! There used to be an Uncle Maddio's here and that's what I was looking for but Twisted was a pleasant surprise. The staff members that manned the grill and took my order were courteous, knowledgeable and helpful...What more can you ask for? The servings are solid, the price falls in line with its contemporaries and the food was good and fresh. Whether you choose from the suggested menu choices or deviate and create your own thing and customize your own ingredient concoction, the food is prepped right in front of you, sizzled up and dished out efficiently...I will absolutely be returning to try some other options. read more

I got a cheeseburger pasta dish. My sister called and asked me what i would like to eat after i babysat for her. Told me she had this place for lunch with her job and it was good. I liked my food just not too impressed it was flavorful but maybe i need to eat in the restaurant. My food was good but THICK. I wish it was a lil creamier or just more sauce. I think I'll try another dish. Then i can amend this review. read more

Discovering this place has truly been a blessing. Ever since I began ordering through the Fooda app, the quality of the food has consistently been outstanding. My go-to order is the skillet lasagna with extra marinara sauce and a Caesar salad. Always great service read more

I would have rated this restaurant higher but the heavy lady with the locs was so unpleasant for no reason at all. She barely said one word to me while she's making a custom meal. I told her I wanted the classic but didn't see linguine and she just turned around, grabbed some and stared at me. Then I said with meatballs. This unpleasant character placed meatballs and then walked over and dumped it in the pan and walked off. She didn't ask if I wanted extra seasonings or anything. Then she got irritated when I asked for basil. Once ahe dumped in the food, she walked off without stirring it and never came back. WTH? If I was a first time customer and didn't know I could add seasoning I would probably never have come back. She will cost you more business than the service she barely provides. Let her go back out into the world and find her calling. Free her so that we can enjoy our food. I hate experiences like this. When I got to the register do you know that asked me of I wanted to leave a tip? LOL! I WISH I WOULD! read more

By far the worse wraps and service. We could not eat the wraps and ended up throwing it away and getting something else to eat. The workers were at each others throats due to disorganized order in their kitchen. I got more of the tortilla than actual chicken in the wrap and a weird liquid in it. It was my first and last time going there read more

I did a pickup order online. I got three wraps and one pasta dish. Everything came out delicious and exactly how we ordered it. The ingredients tasted fresh and ready to order. By the time i got there, my order was ready to go. Plenty of seating inside and clean as well. Definitely will be back again! read more

Very interesting place! Pasta is the main stay here, you can essentially design your meal. If you want the Lasagna it is prepared in a skillet with you choice of pasta and seasonings. They also specialize in wraps where they have a wide choice of types to choose from... like I chose the Chicken Salad on a white Tortilla ( wheat and spinach are options too.) Very fresh and clean interior atmosphere. The employees were extremely nice and helpful. They have an outside dining area as well. The Lasagna we ordered was very good. We chose bowtie pasta, which was awesome. The Chicken salad wrap came with a pasta salad or chips. The pasta salad was covered in a vinegar and oil and had olives throughout. The wrap was also great. I definitely think it is worth coming and trying something on the menu. You can eat pretty healthy here or not... lol. read more

I prepared myself before visiting, by reading a bunch of Facebook reviews and Yelp reviews for the Kennesaw location - and viewing photos so I wasn't confused by the ordering process, but I could definitely see how others might have been. Customer service / staff was friendly. I didn't try the pasta because I'm just not sold on 'fast' pasta. I'm a firm believer that most Italian sauces don't taste very good without hours of simmering, so I was afraid to try to create my own pasta dish. I had a wrap that was pretty tasty so I'm glad I did. I deducted a star because I witnessed a few things that seemed a bit irresponsible in light of the pandemic. read more

My Fiancé loves this place and honestly I do too but tonight I had a horrible experience with the pasta salad. It tasted spoiled...!!!!! I took a bite and immediately spit it out..!!!! Plus the salads that are packaged looked spoiled also....pick the salad up and look at the bottom....is that salad dressing or what is it....???? I'll pass on the sides here but the pasta with impossible sausage was great. It looked fresh and was cooked in front of us. Please take the salad and pasta salad off until you make some fresh. Also the date on the bottom of the pasta salad was scribbled off and 7/21 was written The service was mediocre...I understand we visited at 8:30 and they close at 9 but something just a little bit different would've been better. Plus when asked about the seasonings I was asked which one and there were no labels written on the containers so how would I know?? It is a nice sized restaurant with plenty of space for sitting and feeling comfortable. Just really needs a salad revamp before someone gets sick....!!!! Hopefully we won't...!!!!!!! read more

One of my favorite places to eat. Great food and service food is always fresh. Great ambience

Twisted Kitchen is another one of the takes on the "build a bowl" type concepts, this time with various pasta shapes as the centerpiece. Three locations, I visited the Smyrna location in the Sprouts anchored shopping center. Lots of free, convenient parking, and TK is next to the (ubiquitous) Mattress Firm store. Ordered online via their website which also offered curbside pickup - the right option today as I had to run errands on lunch hour and would be time pressed. The order process was pretty straightforward, especially as I was building my own vs. choosing one of their pre-designed items. The idea here seems to be Italian"ish" with traditional pasta shapes, the usual sauces and then a wide variety of "mix-ins" to choose from giving you a nearly endless number of combinations. My choice was fairly old school, too much work noise in my head today to be more creative - linguine with meatballs, spicy Italian sausage, spinach, extra pesto as my sauce and add some garlic. Arrived at the appointed time, and realized there is no marked curbside spot. Not a huge deal as there are plenty of spots. Searched for what the steps are for curbside since they asked for my make, type and color of my car. No instructions, anywhere. Waited a few minutes in case it was a proactive service on the part of TK. Nope. Dismounted the Audi and walked in to a restaurant devoid of patrons other than a father and son who just finished the "construction" line. Staff was indifferent at best, and seemed irritated I was asking for an online order - reminded me very much of the way restaurants treat Door Dash and UberEats drivers (as an annoyance and irritation to their day). Handed me my bag, no thank you and gestured for me to get my bottle of Diet Coke. Got the food home, was starving and needed to scarf since my next Zoom call was beginning shortly and it's one of those "must be on camera" calls. The food? Sorry to say, but wildly underwhelming. First off, there was zero pesto in sight. None. Scroll through the pics on here and you'll see what Pesto looks like at TK - fairly green, right? Zip pesto. And I paid extra for more. Second challenge - the pasta was flavorless and overcooked. Pasta is to be cooked in heavily salted water (the old it should taste like the sea trick) - there was nothing of the sort any where near this linguine - which wasn't linguine really. It was more of a spaghetti sized noodle that was squished a bit - not linguine. Spinach? I found exactly two leaves. Two. In fairness, the meatballs are pretty good, and the most properly seasoned thing in the dish. Small shrimp were overcooked, rubbery but did have some seasoning. Only found a couple of pieces of the hot italian sausage. Oh, let's not forget the high school cafeteria really sad bread stick - in case there aren't enough carbs already. Overall - great location with easy access along with indoor and outdoor (parking lot) patio seating for options. A Chipotle-esque build your own type of process where it's constructed per your requirements, and then prepared in front of you. I suppose if I'd done this, and not pick up, I would have been able to control the ingredients and lack of pesto - but I shouldn't have to do that. Flavorless, soggy pasta alongside decent meatballs and other largely forgettable protein sidekicks. It'll get ya by, that's for sure, but frankly you and I can whip up materially better pasta grub than this $17 disappointment. Running a restaurant is hard business - and expanding from one location to three is massive growth for a small business. I want to see the little guy succeed and win, and this concept has great potential, but if the execution doesn't improve quickly along with the process, the empty lunch time restaurant will become a self fulfilling prophecy I'm afraid. read more

Finally got the chance to give this place a try. I had the lasagna and it was amazing! Huge portion and very filling.

I would give 7 stars if it was an option! I had a blast at this twisted kitchen and had a most delectable meal! My server, I believe her name was Tyalah, was an absolute doll to me and my family. She helped my littlest one pick what pasta he wanted and even gave the little whipper snapper a high five! I was so impressed by her service that I was going to tip her $20, but I could tell she wasn't working for the money, but rather out of the joy in her heart, so I decided not to. She made us some yummy yummy YUMMY! pastas and wraps that made my old mouth salivate with excitement. If you need a place to eat, or just a place to kick it wit your homies, definitely go to Twisted Kitchen for a stalacious experience! read more

We checked it out on a Tuesday night and had two pasta dishes. Super delish. Pasta was cooked perfect. Sauce was tasty and loved the toppings. Staff was nice and helpful for first timers. Wonderful staff, clean establishment, and fresh ingredients!! I got pasta, my husband got a wrap, and both were delicious, hot, and fresh!

This place is unbelievable I've been to a lot of restaurants that serve pasta. From Olive Garden Carrabba's Cheesecake factory etc. this is one of the top places. Due to the fact you get to choose 3 ounces of different toppings to add to your pasta large portions. It's a great price it's a nice set up doesn't take a long time. It reminds me of being in line at chipotle. It's sit down in a hill it's a newer restaurant so most people arrive by it because they not sure of what it is. They cook the food right in front of you. Spent almost $50 on 4 entrees and ended up disappointed. We had 2 orders of the mandarin twist pasta. Both had only a few pieces of broccoli, and the chestnuts and chow mein noodles were missing on both. We had pasta with some chicken and sauce. Seriously disappointing. My son said his pizza pasta was "alright". My other son's southwest wrap was good, but he said the pasta salad wasn't good at all. Also, we selected drive up service when ordering online. They asked for make and color of the car, but no instructions were provided. After waiting for over 15 minutes, my husband finally went inside to get the food. read more
