I am so glad we found Young (DJ Twin Spin) for our local wedding reception. He is awesome! Right from the beginning, he was really easy to work with and super responsive to my emails. We meet up over Skype about a month before our event to go over all the details and the overall vibe we wanted to have. Young even had some great advice for us, since he was familiar with our venue and the acoustics. The day of the wedding reception, Young was prepared and in control (but not overly-so) of the event. He made sure the night went smoothly and helped keep us on track in terms of timing. After getting engaged, looking for a DJ was probably one of the last things on my "to do" list simply because I had no idea how to hire a DJ since I've never done it before. So as a result I kept putting it off to the very last minute. So where does one go when they need to find a service that they know absolutely nothing about? Yelp of course! I found Young (Twin Spin) on here and also considered a couple other DJs I found on Yelp. I arranged a phone interview with him and my husband and we clicked right from the start. He was very professional and just by speaking with him I could tell he definitely knew his stuff. He was very helpful and patient with us and even gave us some great tips on making our schedule of events. Again, making a schedule was something that was very intimidating for me to create but he helped me out by sending me some examples of wedding schedules for me to look at which was awesome! I had no clue what I was doing when it came to making a schedule and I also didn't have a wedding planner so needless to say Young was a huge help. Twin Spin was such an awesome DJ for our reception! He played all the right songs for my guests and even got my 81 year old grandmother to dance a couple songs. I was completely shocked! He helped us with our music selections and also provided all of our music for our ceremony and dinner reception. He was very energetic and outgoing with our family and friends, which we loved. He definitely knows how to interact with the guests and can keep them dancing that's for sure! Young also provide us with our uplighting and a custom made monogram light that he designed and he did an amazing job! He even help us choose the proper color for the lights as well. The room looked so gorgeous! He definitely stood out from the other DJs we interviewed in my mind because of his experience and his outgoing personality. DJ Twin Spin recently took care of the sound and music for both our ceremony and our reception, and we had a wonderful time! During the ceremony he controlled all the music, which went smoothly between all the songs, the prelude and processional and recessional. My wife and I got married mid July in Sunol, CA and DJ Twin Spin was one of the recommended vendors. We are extremely happy with him because a DJ could really make or break your wedding. Mr Cho was very professional and responsive, which we loved. He responded to emails/texts within hours or a day. There were several songs we picked for our procession and first dances that were too long and he was nice enough to cut and fade them out at a good point and time. Weeks before the wedding he followed up and helped finalize the timeline which helped us visualize our entire day. Although our timeline was very tight, he never made us feel rushed. He always went with our flow. His enthusiasm and charisma made him the perfect MC for our wedding because he was able to rile up the crowd, got everyone standing, partying and joining in on the fun. We hired Young to DJ our annual product release event and he did such a terrific job! He was very professional and prompt. He showed up early to setup and was ready to go about an hour early before the event started which was great! He knew how to play the right music for our guests and kept them dancing all night until the event ended. I wasn't too sure on where to have him set up because the room was an odd shape but he was kind enough to look at the floor plan for me and make some suggestions. We actually found Young here on Yelp.com to DJ our wedding after reading his reviews and I will say his reviews do not lie. We interviewed 2 other DJs and although Young was not the cheapest one we found my husband and I wanted to hire him because we could tell he seemed to have the most experience and was very knowledgeable about every aspect of our wedding. He was very responsive to our needs and very easy to work with. His response time to my phone calls and emails was incredible. Super quick no matter what time of day it was. He was a great MC for our reception and definitely knows how to talk on the microphone well with a lot of personality. We didn't know exactly what kind of music we wanted him to play for our guests but Young seemed to know without us telling him and he kept our dance floor jumpin all night. Young definitely knows his music and he was a huge help when we couldn't decide on what song to play for our first dance. He was also very interactive and kept us all entertained without being cheezy or corny, which I liked. We also rented a bunch of uplights and a custom designed monogram gobo light from him and they looked fantastic! We hired DJ Young from Twinspin Entertainment as our DJ and MC for our wedding 5/18/19 and he absolutely killed it!!!! From our very first interaction with Young over the phone, we knew he would be a great fit for our vendor team. He is charismatic, detail oriented, organized, and personable. Many of my friends who have gotten married in the past met their DJ on their wedding night. Young however, operates on another level. He likes to get to know his couples and get a vision on how the night will look way before the big day. With only a few days notice, he even took the time out of his busy schedule to meet us at our venue to go over the layout/design of the reception (Paradise Ballroom, Fremont CA). This was something that we really appreciated from Young since we live in Las Vegas and couldn't make too many trips back to the bay. Planning a "destination wedding" in the bay area was no easy task but hiring Young put us at ease. We hired Young to be the DJ and MC of our wedding last weekend on 6/18/16. He was actually the second DJ we found. The first DJ we wanted was very slow to send a contract over for review (I waited a month!) so we posted on Thumbtack that we were looking for a DJ and Young responded. And we are so happy we hired him. He was super responsive to emails and when we asked him to shorten our first dance song by cutting out the first verse, he made the end result sound seamless. So many of our guests came up to us during our wedding and told us how much they loved our DJ. My husband and I could tell right away when we met with him that he was definitely a professional at this and we also cliqued with him really well.
