We worked with Amos Productions (DJ and decorations/lighting) for our wedding. Firstly, the staff at Amos productions are so friendly and responsive. They always gave us options and quotes promptly when we asked, even when it came down to the wire (Melissa and Michael Gilmore). The lighting and set decorations we rented from AMOS productions made the venue look so beautiful. Michael seems very familiar with most of the venues in the East Bay and gave us amazing suggestions to make the reception look good while still being attentive to our budget. DJ Kevin was our DJ for our wedding. I cannot say enough good things about DJ Kevin. From the get go, he was on top of EVERYTHING. During our meetings, he helped us organize and time our entire day (music, activities, timing, setting). It's very obvious that he has DJ'd a ton of weddings but he is completely attentive to your needs and tastes. Even when we made changes last minute, DJ kevin accommodated all of our needs and integrated everything. Our ceremony was absolutely perfect, he timed all the music perfectly and made the atmosphere so beautiful. He MC'd our ceremony so well, making all the guests feel comfortable and aware of activities/locations. DJ Kevin was very attentive to our taste in music and curated the MOST AMAZING dance floor. I thought I had a good idea of what i wanted, which he took into account, but mixed the songs SO perfectly and also added in absolute bangers in between. We had guests age 9-90 dancing all night. Everyone was so disappointed when the night had to end. If we had to do it all over again, we would work with DJ Kevin without a doubt. Thank you AMOS productions and thank you DJ Kevin for making our day as perfect as it was. read more

DJ Michael was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. Every step of the way, he offered many different ideas and suggestions. It felt as though he was prepared for absolutely everything; no stone went unturned. We loved his style of music that he played during a food tasting at our venue. We knew we had to interview him. Fell in love with him after our very first interview and we never looked back. Michael was truly a class act and we feel so lucky that we had the opportunity to work with him. read more

We just had a 50th anniversary party for our company. Steve was very communicative from first point of contact through the party day. He was an excellent DJ and went above and beyond to make sure the party went well-including dressing for our 70s theme. Similarly, Annie ran the booth very well and helped us with so many fun photos. Everything came out great quality and set up and take down was swift and easy. Would 1000% recommend these two for your party needs! read more

Amos productions is an excellent resource for your event. They are very proactive and reliable !! They really helped me out last minute for DJ services for my event. They came through with flying colors. Dj Steve did an amazing job. I would highly recommend them read more

There aren't enough words to fully capture the impact DJ Rick had on our wedding. He is the definition of a professional - passionate, kind, and entirely focused on the happiness of his clients. Interestingly, though we are both musicians, and music lovers, my husband and I actually found the process of selecting our own wedding music surprisingly daunting. Rick stepped in not just as a DJ, but as a consultant, helping us talk through genres and the emotional timing for each moment of the day. The result was a masterclass in engineering. He helped us thread together a beautiful, soulful grouping of songs for our ceremony that transitioned into the ultimate 90s/2000s dance party for the reception. Our guests have not stopped raving about the setlist; it was exactly the high-energy, nostalgic vibe we wanted. DJ Rick has an incredible intuition for how to work a room. DJ Rick doesn't just play music; he curates an experience. read more

We were so very happy with DJRick. He listened to what we wanted and executed everything perfectly. He met with us several times for planning and guidance. Not only did he play great music, he kept the party flowing. He did music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception and we were able to tailor it to our preferences. We particularly liked his suggestion of having each of our guest tables come up to us at our table for a group picture as opposed to us going to each table. It worked out beautifully. Our goal was to dance as much as possible and keep the dance floor full and that truly happened. I would recommend Rick to anyone planning an event and I would definitely use him again if we have another event. read more

DJ RICK IS AMAZING! He's direct and on schedule but willing to pivot if it needs to be. Good music selection, very helpful and would recommend music when asked. We got a lot of compliments from our guests!! Thank you very much Amos! read more

As you can see from this picture Thomas, our DJ from Amos Productions, brought the party together on the dance floor. I can't say enough about Amos Productions. They are professional and personable. I just celebrated my 50th with a Rhinestone Rodeo theme. I asked Thomas to mix in some line dancing and regular house music. He read the crowd and had the dance floor full all night!! I can't thank him enough for making my party one to remember. read more

We worked with Amos Productions for our wedding on May 18, 2025 at the Palm Event Center in the Vineyard. Rick Mustafa was our DJ and we also used their photobooth services. Rick was fantastic. We got on a call, and we immediately knew that we wanted to work with him and this team. The site was well organized, and Rick walked us through all of the steps needing to be done, checking back in regularly and ensuring that everything was in order. Rick listened to us and made sure to accommodate all of our requests. On the day of, Rick kept everything in order, making announcements and guiding guests appropriately. The music was in-line with whatever we discussed, and Rick also made sure to help us with last minute changes due to changes in schedule. Rick was just very easy to talk to and work with, and we would highly recommend him and the Amos team for anybody interested in DJ services for their wedding. The photobooth services were also great. Everybody had an awesome time, the props were a lot of fun, and our guests took tons of pictures, all of which we had access to afterwards. Thanks again to Rick and Amos Productions for making our wedding so memorable. read more

We had an amazing experience with Amos Productions for our wedding, especially with our DJ, Kevin! He was absolutely awesome--super professional, friendly, and easy to work with from start to finish. Kevin was really helpful throughout the planning process and gave us great suggestions when we weren't sure what songs to pick for our entrance. Since Amos was a preferred vendor at our venue, he was already very familiar with how everything flowed and even knew our wedding planner, which made the day run so smoothly. Everything felt seamless! Amos also has a great online planning platform where we could enter all the songs we wanted to play (or not play), as well as specific songs for each part of the event--like entrances, cake cutting, first dance, and more. It made organizing everything super easy. Our main contact at Amos was Marissa, and she was fantastic--always super responsive and quick to reply to any questions we had, usually within a few hours. That kind of support really helped take a lot of stress off our plate. We found Amos through our venue's preferred vendor list, and we're so glad we did. Highly recommend them to anyone planning a wedding or special event! read more

We used Amos Productions for our wedding at the Palm Event Center. Our DJ, Kevin, was wonderful! He was helpful in planning some of our key songs and moments. He incorporated our requests and made sure that everyone had a great time. It's easy to tell that he has years of experience DJing. The photobooth was a great feature. We got lots of good pictures with all of the props. Annie was very helpful! read more

We used Amos Productions for DJ and photobooth services for our wedding at Poppy Ridge Golf Course. DJ Rick was absolutely fantastic! He was so easy to work with and kept us on track both leading up to and during the big day. He was very organized, professional, and incredibly approachable, which made the whole process stress-free. He was always very responsive and his attention to detail definitely showed. As for the photobooth services, we appreciated the ability to customize our photostrip template, which added a fun and personal touch. Communication with Steve during the planning process was smooth and easy. However, the photobooth experience itself didn't quite meet our expectations on our big day. The onsite tech didn't engage much with us or our guests, so the experience felt more passive than interactive. Additionally, the camera had shifted upward and wasn't adjusted for the final few photos. We were also under the impression that a photostrip would be printed for each guest in the photo, but only two prints were provided per grouping. read more

Used Amos Productions for a corporate event and they were so easy and great to work with. They provided everything that was asked for and recommended better options based on their experience for similar type of events. I really loved how flexible they were! The day of our event, there were several last-minute changes to our powerpoint presentations and they were able to update and present them on the fly with no issues or concerns. Definitely took the stress off of me and helped make the day run smoothly! Will definitely be using them again. read more

As a wedding planner, I've had the pleasure of working with Amos Productions for many years, and I can confidently say they are one of the most reliable and professional DJ companies in the business. Their team is consistently responsive, organized, and on time, always arriving with top-of-the-line equipment and a great attitude. Most recently, I worked with DJ Rick, and he truly went above and beyond. In the days leading up to the event, he reached out to the full vendor team to introduce himself, provide key details, and even ask about social media sharing--something that made everyone feel like part of a well-connected, collaborative effort. On the day of, he and his assistant seamlessly set up in three separate locations (ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception) without missing a beat. Throughout the night, Rick kept the dance floor packed and the energy high. Anytime I needed help making an announcement or rallying the vendor team, he was right there to support. He even took the time to walk the bridal party through their grand entrance, ensuring it was upbeat, smooth, and fun for everyone. At the end of the night, Rick was the last one to leave, still smiling as he packed up--and that speaks volumes about his work ethic and dedication. In addition to their amazing DJs, Amos Productions also offers photo booths and lighting services, which I've had wonderful experiences with. Plus, their sister company, Altamont Limo, provides fantastic limo services. Booking multiple services through them often comes with great discounts, which makes an already stellar company even more appealing. I wholeheartedly recommend Amos Productions to any couple or vendor team looking for professionalism, talent, and exceptional service from start to finish. read more

We hired Amos Productions for our September 2023 wedding at The Club at Ruby Hill in Pleasanton, CA. Their client portal on the website is so organized, making it so easy for us to start inputting any songs we had in mind. We had the pleasure of working with Rick and he was absolutely the best! He scheduled multiple video calls leading up to wedding to go over all the details - timeline, song choices, ceremony order, etc. He took very detailed notes on what we wanted and gave us great ideas for things we hadn't thought about yet. He was very professional but also lots of fun to be around! Our ceremony went so smoothly and the timing of the processional was exactly what we wanted! He also knew exactly when to transition into the next activities of the night (ie. speeches, dances, announcements) and watched for our cues to move on. During the night, we had lots of songs that we inputted ourselves into the client portal but Rick also added in songs that perfectly matched our vibe. He was very receptive to what our guests seemed to get most excited about and even took several requests. We got lots of great feedback from friends that were on the dancefloor all night! I would highly recommend Amos Pro, especially since they're a preferred vendor at many of the East Bay venues! read more

DJ Rick was a joy to work with. He is incredibly talented, organized, and professional. He did an amazing job of helping make our wedding so fun! The treatment we received from this company was so disgusting that I've put off reviewing them for a long time. Every time I thought of reviewing them, the reminder of the experience made me too upset to write a review. I hired them for an event and everything was great at first. They assigned a DJ that I liked and it seemed like everything would be fine. A while later, I checked the online customer portal they gave me and saw that a new DJ was assigned to me. No one ever called me to tell me that they were changing the DJ. They just did it and if I hadn't checked I would not have found out. I visited the Amos office to ask about the change, and they told me that the original DJ was booked out to another event so they couldn't assign him to my event anymore. The new DJ wasn't even listed on the Amos website. I suspect they found a third-party DJ and dumped him on me. Just like that, Amos decided my event wasn't as important and couldn't even give me the courtesy to tell me about the change when they made it. Since there was nothing I could do, I had to accept the new DJ. A while later, it was time to meet the DJ in person. Amos handled scheduling a time and location for us to meet. The DJ showed up to the wrong address. It turns out that Amos gave us different addresses for our meeting. I had to wait 30 minutes for the DJ to drive to the correct address. On the day of the event, the DJ shows up with blown speakers. The speakers were making a rattling sound the entire time. It was embarrassing and made it seem like I hired the cheapest DJ possible. The DJ also brought a friend with him (definitely not an assistant) and they spent the entire time drinking alcohol while he was working. This was likely the cause of him exhibiting some unusual behavior. One example was that he kept spamming the DJ horn sound. Even after I gave him a gesture asking him to calm down with that horn, he kept doing it. He was doing it at the most inappropriate times and it just made things weird and uncomfortable. Every time he played the horn, many guests would look at him as if they were surprised he was still doing it. The entire experience with Amos was a nightmare and I regret hiring them. Don't let them ruin your event like they did to mine. Edit: Amos reported this review to Yelp as an attempt to silence my complaint. Shame on you, Amos. Is that what you do to all negative reviews and why there are hardly any negative reviews about your company? read more

Kevin Duncan was seriously the BEST DJ out there!! He literally made our wedding so amazing- everyone still constantly tells us how awesome the music and vibe was throughout the wedding. He really set the vibe to the fun and upbeat wedding I always dreamed of, and he really knows how to get everyone out on the dance floor too! I think every person at our 200 person wedding was out there dancing most of the night. Everyone had a great time. He was professional and easy to work with as well, and is always so easy to get in touch with. I can't recommend him more!! read more

We hired DJ Jeff and the Photo Booth for our wedding at Garre Vineyard on August 10, 2024. Their client portal was organized and easy to use. Jeff scheduled a couple of phone calls with us to go over our wedding day timeline. Overall, he was really helpful and did a fantastic job! There were a couple of mistakes that occurred on the day of which happen but were slightly frustrating since we talked about them prior. (Mistakes were not changing the song for bridesmaids/flower girls walking down the isle he just looped one song when we had two, announcing our bridal party at the reception when we were just doing a bridal bomb, bouquet toss wasn't supposed to happen it was being given to my mom). Throughout the night Jeff gauged the crowd and kept the party going the entire night which is exactly what we wanted. The photo booth was great although the only thing that upset us was prior to the wedding. I had emailed trying to get a head count for food and was told there would be one tech. The day before the wedding the tech emailed me saying there would now be two techs since they were training. Not a big deal but planning a wedding we needed the numbers 2 weeks prior so was frustrated getting that email. I would highly recommend Amos Productions for your wedding day or event. They were professional and did a great job minus the few mistakes that occurred :) read more

Amos Productions is probably the best and most professional company available in the Bay Area. We were overwhelmingly happy with their work on our wedding. We had Jeff as our DJ. He was very experienced and personable. He handled everything very well at the wedding. Amos Productions did it again! 13 years ago, we hired Amos/DJ Rob for out wedding. The way he worked the crowd made the night unforgettable. Fast forward to now. We were looking for a DJ for a birthday party and while we talked to some self-employed/less expensive options, we decided to go with Amos because of our experience last time. For a birthday party, our budget only allowed for a Level 3 DJ but we got upgraded to DJ Randy, a Level 1 DJ, and he was also phenomenal. He called 1 week prior to get some planning/logistics discussed. The day of, he arrived early because he didn't want to arrive mid- event even though he wasn't going "on" for a few hours. And he made himself totally helpful during that time! He wired up an extension cord on his own to help move an evaporative cooler so that guests would be more comfortable during dinner! Totally not his job but he did it! He had a fantastic idea to get everyone on the dance floor, gathering everyone to sing happy birthday then transitioning to the dance music. Throw in some glowing sticks and we had a party. My sister loved the play list so much, she asked me for it. 5% me, 95% DJ Randy, I said. Amos Productions will MAKE your event; when I need another DJ, I won't bother looking anywhere else. read more

Rick Mustafa has so many years of experience and it truly shows. We booked him as our DJ and MC for our June wedding. He helped organize our day even down to the announcements he would make and at what time. One of our biggest worries was having an empty dance floor and when we say that he got everyone dancing, we mean it! There was not an empty spot on the dance floor and our guests didn't care and just danced right next to it by the tables. He is able to mix different musics styles flawlessly and keep the energy up the entire night. Even after the wedding all our friends keep coming up to us and saying how amazing the DJ was (which previously we had never heard anyone rave about a DJ)! Book him for your wedding! read more

Did a BBQ for 400 people. Largest I'd done before that was 40. What I really needed was for my vendors to handle everything without intervention. Amos came though. Awesome service and reasonable prices. I would highly recommend them for their services.

I could not be happier with Amos Productions and specifically with our DJ/MC Michael. We got married a week ago today, and are still talking about how happy we were with Michael. He met with us multiple times before our wedding to make sure he knew exactly what we wanted. He assisted us in uploading all of the songs we wanted, and he went over the timeline of the day with us. We felt like he knew us well and knew exactly what we wanted. Michael kept things right on schedule, but he also was flexible when we needed to make last minute adjustments (due to our aging parents). We had several generations of guests, and he mixed up the genres so there was something for everyone. He had the most positive attitude, was extremely professional, and it is clear he loves bringing people together through music. We also booked a shuttle/limo through Altamont Limo, which is their sister company. We were extremely happy with them as well. We are so glad we chose Amos (and specifically Michael) for our wedding! read more

Big Disco Party for my annual Volunteer Appreciation Party, 115 volunteers, Staff and Board Members attended. Due to Robert's wonderful lighting effects and expertise as our DJ, the room was filled with blues, pinks and purples. Along with my Wall Lights and centerpieces, the room was transformed into a 1970's Discoteque, it was amazing! Robert was so knowledgeable and met all my expectations, the music was perfect too! Annie, our Photobooth Attendant was amazing, so nice to work with, seemed to really enjoy all of us being silly and getting into the vibe of the 70's! We all told her she would fit right in at Disneyland as one of those people taking your random photo! The Photobooth was a big hit! I would use Amos again and again! read more

We used Amos as our DJ and photo booth for our wedding and were very impressed! The staff were professional and kind. We were able to review multiple DJs in order to find one that would match our "vibe". Moreover, the music selection platform was so easy to use! If a song was missing, we could easily add the YouTube version. I've been to too many weddings where the wrong version of the first dance song was played - but not at ours! The dance floor was never empty and so many of our guests commented on our fun playlist. The photo booth was also a hit! There were hundreds of layouts to choose from- ensuing that it fit our theme. We even got digital copies of all the photo booth photos the next day! It was so fun reliving the day. read more

We cannot say enough good things about Amos Pro, SPECIFICALLY DJ RICK. Michael and all the other staff were so helpful in discussing options and getting a contract and package put together that worked for us. We were given DJ Rick and he was so helpful in the month leading up to the wedding. We met several times to mail down a game plan and ensure all the songs we wanted were accounted for. He even reached out to the violinist we hired to coordinate backing music with him. He kept our timeline moving really smooth, we weren't late to any of our events. We got so many compliments about his song choice and our dance floor was PACKED the entire night until we had to vacate. Highly recommend Amos Pro and DJ Rick!! read more

This picture is awful, but still waiting for the pro photos and the best I could do for now! How do we put this... We love DJ Rick. I will say, Amos Productions was great--always so responsive and their platform looks old school, but was soooo organized and handy!! But RICK!!! He is the most personable DJ--actually, probably just the most personable human being--we have ever met. We had a total of 3 Zoom calls with him before our wedding and we just went on and on. He was so into it and had such amazing ideas and feedback. We genuinely looked forward to these calls with him as it gave us so much peace of mind. The wedding itself was chaotic. We had lots of people, unexpected high winds and a few power outages! Through it all, Rick didn't break a sweat. He was cool, calm and collected and worked hard through all of these issues. He kept the party going, even though we had to move indoors. He made sure we were on time with the speeches, etc. and was just so thoughtful. He took our odd song requests with a smile and just got everyone in party mode! If we throw an event again, we are hitting up Amos and specifically Rick again. read more
