We opted to use their DJ, Norm, several of their decorations and the dance floor, and their wedding planning service with August and Kevin. August and Kevin were incredibly helpful as full wedding planners and day-of coordinators; I don't think our wedding would have turned out as beautiful without them. Their communication was excellent, and they helped all of our dreams come true. They helped me plan and stay organized with vendors and scheduling. DJ Norm was great! He picked songs from my playlist and was a great MC during our wedding scavenger hunt game. My family and friends commented how they loved his music selections and his energy! The decor looked great and really made our special day look amazing. All of our other vendors were connections through Fantasy Sounds, and they were all very professional and high quality. We used Fantasy Sound Events Services for lighting for our wedding at The Club at Ruby Hill. FSE is a recommended vendor of The Club and they're very familiar with the venue, so I knew they'd be a great choice for what we were envisioning for lights. We went with 20 uplights and 4 GOBO pattern lights along the walls of our reception area. It turned out beautifully and really added to the ambiance of the evening. The team did setup and cleanup seamlessly. FSE was also quite responsive and communicative throughout the entire planning process. They provided an extensive gallery of photos specifically at our venue to showcase the different lighting and drapery options they had. When we were choosing our GOBO pattern, they also had a large gallery and were able to show us examples. I'd definitely recommend FSE for any event lighting you'd need. Fantasy sound was truly the easiest vendor to work with during the wedding planning process! Our venue was The Bridges Golf Club and Fantasy Sound is one of their preferred vendors. After seeing the chandelier setup at Palm Event during a tour and finding out they also have one for our venue, we knew we had to get it! We had placed quite a few different quotes (which they were more than willing to create and send over) as we wanted to get pricing on different items. We originally booked their 10' round crystal beaded chandelier, 12' x 30' white dance floor and a sweetheart backdrop drapery. After signing the contract and paying the deposit, we then decided to add on to our booking to get the entire window wall draped. They were able to easily add that on for us and an addendum was added to our contract & both parties signed it. Super easy process. We talked with a representative at Bridges' open house which happens in the beginning of the year, went to Fantasy Sound's open house to see their items in person, they sent over photos from our venue of items we were interested in (which definitely helped us to have a visual) and they also schedule a video chat to answer any questions. We hired Fantasy Sound for our wedding last month at Casa Real, and it went incredibly smoothly! We had 25 mirrorballs installed in the ceiling of the reception area, drapery behind the sweetheart table, and some spotlights. We also had Norm from FSE as our wedding DJ, who did an absolutely incredible job both with the music as well as MCing the event! After the wedding I got lots of messages from my friends about how great the music was. Norm played everything we requested and gauged the crowd's energy really well, and kept the party moving. We had to move the timeline around a bit on the day of, but none of the guests noticed because Norm, the venue, and my photographers/videographers communicated so seamlessly. He was also in charge of micing up my husband, the officiant, and our harp player during the ceremony, which I almost forgot about because it was already taken care of without me even paying attention. Also, my husband is a musician, and Norm took the time on his own to go through some of my husband's catalogue and pick out some of his songs to play during open dancing and it was so much fun! It was really heartwarming seeing my friends dancing to my husband's music on our special day. Everyone I've talked to at FSE is super professional and answered my emails promptly! Many times I changed my mind back and forth on stuff and Lindsay and Darcie accommodated me without any fuss, which is super important when you start getting stressed out and nervous during the planning. We first engaged with FSE very early on in our wedding planning process and even after a significant delay on our end, they were luckily still available on our date and ready to go back into collaboration mode with us! We changed our overall aesthetic almost entirely and the team was very patient in answering our questions, revising our quote a few different times, and noting specific requests, e.g., styles of draping our ceiling swag to achieve a certain look or working with us to bring the quote as low as possible. The full end result with drapery, ceiling swags, hanging greens, candle chandeliers, and a monogrammed spotlight dance floor was so much better than we could have ever hoped! Our wedding was as perfect as can be with the help of FSE! Our venue was at Casa Real at Ruby Hill Winery in Pleasanton. They've worked with the venue a lot in the past, so we knew we were in great hands. My wedding wouldn't have been the talk of the night if we didn't have Fantasy Sound in charge of our lights and decor. LIGHTS & DECOR When I fell in love with Casa Real, I also fell in love with the crystal beaded chandeliers over the center of the dance floor. I rented all 3 - 12x12, 9x9, and 6x6. I think you can get away with one of them, but I wanted to make sure it made my guests say "WOW LOOK AT THAT" and it did. Most of my guests thought it was included with the venue haha. I also rented the wood walls with the monogram letters MR & MRS behind the sweetheart table. It really put everything together on our special night. HOW IT WORKS We first made an appointment at their location and looked at pictures of items that we could rent for our wedding and then they sent a quote. From there they ask a few questions like start and end time of your big day. They'll do all the set up and take down. As soon as the wedding ends, they have an hour to take everything down so you have nothing to worry about. In regards to how you pay, they'll send you an invoice via square, so easy! COST Price to rent everything was reasonable, but obviously it's important to look at your budget and speak with your partner on what you're willing to pay for for your special day. Since they are a preferred vendor of Bridges, I felt a sense of ease that they knew the reception venue property well and didn't have to worry about much. Fantasy Sound Events did the lighting, DJing, and sound system for my wedding this past October. And they did an amazing job. They were a preferred vendor at my vendor at my venue and for good reason. The process of working with them was extremely straightforward. The entire planning process was easy and they've worked closely with the florist I chose so all my decor went up without much problem. Nick, our DJ, was also fantastic. He did an excellent job balancing multiple competing requests from my mom (who wanted ballroom dance music) and from myself (who wanted younger, more hip music). The result was a really lovely, upbeat environment where people of all ages could dance to a variety of songs. The only caveat is that if there's any one song that you like that's on Spotify for example but not released as an mp3, he won't be able to play it because his system is not set up that way. Our DJ was Glenn, and he was great! the lightening they provided was also beautiful and they allowed our florist to hang some greenery from their lights. They were also so accommodating and helpful with the rescheduling process due to COVID. I feel lucky that they allowed us to reschedule without any additional hiccups, fees, or loss of payments. I see other reviews here rating them 1 star for refusal to refund deposits for cancelled weddings due to COVID, and my heart really goes out to both parties, but I don't feel it is a true reflection of Fantasy Sound and their services. I can only imagine how hard it has been for businesses to stay afloat during the pandemic, and I'm grateful that rescheduling was as easy as it was with them, because I've definitely heard much worse from other couples with other vendors who rescheduled. Janet and Brandon, I'm with you. But we have to give Kevin some credit. He "sticks to his guns" during a Pandemic like this. We can't say anything about the service as we were not able to have our wedding. Wedding was set to take place in March 2020, we all know what happen. Called Kevin and his team to reschedule, no issue there; moved it to Nov2020. Here we are still not able to have our wedding. Like many, we are moving on with our lives hoping that we could work something out with Kevin and his team. Recover some of our deposit back; we've lost so much already (financially and emotionally). When we called to talk to Kevin seeking for some understanding and for them to be a little sympathetic; but all he had to say was, "we're sticking with our guns on this." He even had the audacity to tell me he took someone to court over their deposit, Like it's suppose to make me feel better. We weren't even asking for our whole deposit back from them. We were only asking Kevin for partial of the deposit to help us out. I told Kevin I would rebook for next year but I can't commit to anything because I serve in the military; I been assisting with supporting units deploy in support of COVID-19 and will be taking an assignment overseas next year. All he did was offer the deposit to be good for a year; even after I told him I'll probably be overseas next year. Brandon and Janet, your right, Kevin and his team is not about making your special day memorable. Its all about money. He will "stick to his guns" of keep your money without providing any service. Our venue requires Fantasy Sound to do our lighting and that made me reluctant in trusting them to work diligently with us, I was reluctant because I was concerned there's no incentive for them to work in favor of what we want because our venue is guaranteeing them the business. WAS I WRONG! They were great from our first email, up until our walkthrough and even on our wedding day. Kevin was willing to work with our budget and he was able to get us extra chandeliers to fill up our reception hall while still remaining within our budget. Kevin was so patient with us through the walkthrough and worked with us as we told him where we wanted each chandelier. Also, I was hesitant on the gobo light, but he walked us through the venue and pointed out areas we could put it, and we're so glad we trusted his opinion. They mailed us our monogram a week after the wedding and it's a keepsake we love having. Lastly, we rented our photobooth through them and that was a hit! I know photobooths may seem a bit pricey, but DO IT! They send you the link a few days after and it's such a good laugh going through the photos and reliving the event while you wait for your pics from the photographer. Their staff at the booth was great, so patient with everyone and giving them ideas on poses. Again, this was a huge hit!
