I had high hopes booking DJ Love and another one of their DJs for my wedding and mehndi party, as I…read morehad attended a wedding DJed by DJ Love 3+ years ago. Unfortunately, for my own events I was very very disappointed. Leading up to the event, he seemed decently involved and had a lot of experience to offer. I personally put a lot of time into answering any questions and filling out the app for his team to use. On our final call, it seemed to me things were on track and his team was attentive. Then things took a turn. On the first event, the DJ was on his phone most of the time and needed to be redirected frequently. The entrance song he played was incorrect, which the team later ascribed to their app making an error, which regardless, did upset the moment. Otherwise, I think the DJ did fine in incorporating the music I had entered into the app and trying to read the room, and he was able to adapt to friends and myself making requests. DJ Love himself was the DJ for the wedding day. Initially, he had personally checked in with me to clarify the previous night's mistakes, which I appreciated. But overall, the music that night was lackluster, with subpar transitions, no apparent read of the room, and overall I got the impression he wasn't really present. And I can understand, to him and his team this is just another wedding, but for us, it is a once in a lifetime event and we would have wanted some more care and attention to the event. I didn't even really feel like he considered the type of music I had put into the app. During our meetings prior to the event, I had stressed wanting things such as the photobooth and dessert tables to be announced, but day of, for whatever reason I had to send a friend to go remind him of such. It was annoying feeling like I had to be micromanaging while trying to enjoy my wedding. After the wedding, I had guests tell me they were not even able to hear most of his announcements (I'm not sure if this is due to the sound system being inadequate for the venue). This is another thing I had asked DJ Love about repeatedly in our meetings prior, that it was important to me the sound system be good quality and adequate for the size of our venue. Overall, this is the one regret I have from my wedding weekend.

He did not stop being amazing and he made sure each moment of our wedding day was special. He kept every song perfectly timed for every moment. OUR FIRST DANCE: Elyzar did not even know the choreography of our first dance. However, he timed the sparklers perfectly elevating our already perfect moment with each other to a moment not only us, but nobody else would forget. THE WHOLE WEDDING - HE RAN IT: I do not believe for a moment that a DJ service is in charge of running a wedding, neither should you, unless you put that in your contract lol. When we had issues with our day of coordinator, Elyzar was right there. He kept us on schedule on our already hectic day. Turning, what could have been a disaster, into the glorious day we had spent the better part of two years drawing up. I mean the man was THERE. When our coordinator was missing, he immediately located myself or my husband in the crowd of our friends and family, asking us if we were okay, if we needed anything, and keeping us on schedule. Elyzar would do all this and then return to his stand and absolutely WOW the crowd. When I say he turned the crowd up, I mean there were people who would never dance at any occasion. Elyzar's music elevated everyone. He did not need to call people out to the dance floor, his music did that. Once the music starts, NOBODY WAS SAFE FROM THE DANCE FLOOR. SERVICE WITH A SMILE: Elyzar did not hesitate to do the work. He and his team kept the audio in check, even when we had some soft spoken guests lol. Even when my husband and I were stressing and trying to get the crowd moving to the next part of the venue, Elyzar and his team helped in more ways than DJs are paid to do. AND THEY DID IT ALL WITH A SMILE AND NO HESITATION. My friends and family constantly asked me where we found our DJ and how much the services costs and how they wanted to book him for their next event! Elyzar and his team worked with us so well, personalizing every song, keeping us on schedule, keeping the crowd pleased with what appeared to be very little effort, and DID IT ALL HAPPILY. Elyzar, if you're reading this, you kept our big day from falling apart, and kept the crowd and us happy. I dont know if you know just how much you helped or just how much it meant to us, but we could never thank you enough. TRULY AND UTTERLY, THANK YOU.
