We had over 200 people and needed sound across the baraat, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception and Rob was able to put it all together. The vibes were perfect throughout the day and there were zero technical issues. He nailed all of our special music cues during the ceremony (we had a lot lol), and was a great MC during the reception. His DJing during dancing was also great. We shared some of the songs we like from different genres and he was able to take it from there. All our friends and family loved that he played "our music" all night and the dance floor was never empty until the end. One thing I want to specifically call out is his sound equipment. For every part of our wedding day the music was CLEAR and sounded SO GOOD. When I found DJ Devere, I was confident he would deliver the most magical wedding day for us. From our first convo until the very end his communication was amazing. My husband and I are super introverted, so we wanted someone who could really pump up the energy at our reception. We visited a wedding fair earlier this year and bumped into Rob. He worked with us a few months before the wedding to get an idea of what music we wanted for our reception, asked us for our must-play songs, and adapted his playlist for our reception timeline. For our wedding, we wanted a vibe that incorporated the vibe of a lounge for cocktail hour, and a club for when it was time to dance, and DJ Devere executed that perfectly. Rob was the first vendor we locked down and honestly one of the easiest yeses we made in our entire wedding planning process. We specifically wanted a DJ from the Bay who could feel out the vibe of the wedding and adjust accordingly. We hired Rob to DJ and MC our wedding this past weekend. Rob was very communicative from the beginning and was available for questions through the whole process. It started with a video call to meet us, see who we are at people, and what we expected. We left a small deposit after we agreed on a price and package. After looking into so many DJs, we went with Rob (DJ Devere) as our wedding DJ. We picked Rob because of his music playlist selection we had seen in videos and his experience DJing in the clubs. We wanted good hip hop and r&b and a mix of wedding classics, reggaeton music. Rob delivered and went beyond for our wedding. What I like about Rob was he was easy to communicate with. Any questions I had or if I wanted to talk with him, he responded swiftly. He was a great MC and kept the wedding alive. For our wedding entrance he had everybody stand up waving their napkins and got everybody hyped up for us to come out. I've been to several weddings where nobody danced much and dancing ended early, but literally all my wedding guests danced until the wedding is over and it truly was because Rob kept the party alive. I can't believe I'm a year and a half overdue on this review. Time seriously flies! DJ Devere came through for one of the most significant occasions in our family - my parents' 50th Wedding Anniversary party. He contributed to my parents' special night by providing great music, and overall audio/ visual effects. He and his brother were very professional and seemed to enjoy partaking in some of the celebration - we insisted they join us for a good time of food and fun. The process of booking was super easy, he sent out sample play lists, and logistics went smoothly. I'll never forget my parents' entrance into the ballroom when DJ Devere introduced the celebrants. Truly classic and so special!! The whole ballroom was so full of love and good vibes.. it was pretty epic. DJ Devere helped keep our program on schedule, he accommodated musical chairs for the kiddos, time for performers, and made sure the music was on point all night - oldies, 80's soft rock, 90's R&B, and hyphy slaps made for a super fun night! Wow! This was our first time working alongside Rob & we were really impressed with his ability to read the room and entertain all the guests at a mixed wedding. He was able to mix two cultures of music, add in Bay area jams, reggaeton, old school and the audio sounded crisp and clear. There were never any issues with MC or audio during the wedding and his attire for the wedding was professional which it nice to see for an upscale event such as a wedding. Not only did he dress professional but he was kind, helpful and a team player when it came to working with the coordinators, photo & video team. He was communicative about transitions and starting time for entrances so that everyone could be on the same page. We highly recommend Rob for wedding DJ services! read more

Long over due review ; Short and simple , we were on a time crunch to get a DJ for our wedding last year . We were linked by a good friend who recommended DJ devere He kept it 100% professional and personable to our needs for our special day . Answered all of our questions , set up our day with the time and music selection , helped us out on what song choices recommendations. When the day came , we weren't disappointed at all 1000% satisfied. From the start of the walk , to the cocktail hour , to the dinner music , to the mc and schedule on time announcements and of course !! The last 2 hours of music to dance to was the best.
