Great experience with DJ Tanveer at our wedding. I'd already been to two prior weddings that hired him, and both had really fun dance floors so I already knew we'd have a great experience. Tanveer is great at blending Bollywood and Western music to keep the dance floor going, and we got several compliments after the wedding about how good our DJ was. In addition to this, he did a great job with musical cues at certain key parts of the ceremony, MCing parts of our wedding (eg announcing the grand entrance, the first dance, etc) and rolled with the punches with a last minute music request. Highly recommend Tanveer! read more

We recently had DJ Tanveer at our annual henna conference, and he was absolutely fantastic to work with. From the very beginning, he was professional, flexible, and incredibly easy to coordinate with. Everything was set up and ready right on time, which made the evening run smoothly and stress-free. The music was phenomenal -- he truly read the room and kept everyone on the dance floor all night long. The energy never dipped! Overall, it was an outstanding experience, and I would not hesitate to hire him again for our next event. Highly recommend! read more

We had a 50 person party. Typically you would see only 15 on the dance floor. We had 40. DJ Tanveer knows how to keep the crowd going and get them on the dance floor. Energy was fantastic because he built up the pace and the transitions were seamless. Highly recommend. read more

My wife and I hired DJ Tanveer for our wedding Sangeet, and from the very first conversation, we knew it was the right decision. From the start, DJ Tanveer made us feel completely comfortable. He was friendly, communicative, and incredibly flexible--especially when we mentioned that we wanted to provide most of the playlist ourselves. Unlike other DJs who pushed back on that idea, Tanveer was totally on board, even allowing us to customize different playlists for different parts of the night. That openness and collaboration set the tone for everything that followed. Throughout the planning process, he was always easy to reach, open to calls, and genuinely interested in helping us build the perfect night. During the event, we had a series of performances--including one that involved an interactive skit with the DJ--and Tanveer played along flawlessly. Before the open dance floor even started, DJ Tanveer kept the evening running smoothly with his fantastic MCing. From hyping up entrances to keeping the order of events flowing and dismissing tables for dinner, he struck the perfect balance of energy and professionalism. And once the dance floor opened up, he absolutely brought the house down. His music transitions were seamless, his vibe was electric, and most importantly, he kept the entire crowd on the dance floor. From our friends to all the uncles and aunties, everyone danced until the very last minute. Weeks later, guests are still telling us that our Sangeet was the most fun wedding event they've ever attended, and that DJ Tanveer was the best DJ they've ever seen. Our Sangeet ended up being the highlight of our wedding weekend, and that's thanks in large part to Tanveer. I would 100% hire him again for any future celebration--no hesitation whatsoever. read more

DJ Tanveer was about the best DJ I could have ever asked for for my mountain wedding in Salt Lake City, Utah. We had an Indian x American fusion wedding (very multicultural) and Tanveer helped us achieve our vision, perfectly everything from some Indian bangers to some nostalgic old American country western songs. He made our wedding better than we ever could have hoped for. He was so easy to work with & did a great job in renting equipment there (outside of his typical locations). He even put together a cute video on Instagram soon after the wedding, letting us re-live the night soon after. The dancefloor was packed till the very end of the night & we got so many compliments for picking Tanveer both during the wedding and the many weeks after. I would not be surprised if one of our friends chooses to hire him for their weddings too. If you're considering hiring him, do it! read more

We hired DJ Tanveer for our wedding including a mobile baraat, hindu ceremony and reception. We knew from the very first convos with him he was a good fit for us. And he did not disappoint! Firstly, he's so easy to work with and very professional and communicative. On the day of the wedding, he crushed it! The baraat was lit and the dance floor was the perfect mix for us. He reads the room and dance floor so well and kept the dance floor alive all night! We also did the C02 guns with him which were a great hit! If you want to have a professional experience with a DJ that knows how to cater to a fusion (indian and american) crowd, look no further. Tanveer is truly the best. read more

DJ Tanveer was great! We worked a wedding with him and he was fun, professional, and friendly. Would highly recommend!

Tanveer was awesome!!! We hired him for our wedding reception and pre-wedding and event and he was incredible. It was very easy getting in touch with him and ironing out details. He was very detail oriented before the event in getting details from us for the MC portion of the event and was flexible with last minute changes. We requested a lot of specific Bengali songs which he had no problems incorporating. He also brought lighting to our reception event which really elevated the look of our ballroom, and the photo booth was a hit with all of our guests. Our guests were raving about the music on the dance floor and many people reached out to us after the events saying it was one of the best DJ's they've seen at a wedding and had a great time. He was able to get everyone from older to younger guests to have a great time on the dance floor. Would highly recommend Tanveer to anyone planning a wedding! read more

This "DJ" is unreliable, unseasoned, and very unprofessional. If there's one thing I can take back from my special day, it would be hiring this DJ.   Prior to our event, we spoke with Tanveer multiple times about our schedule and what we expected.  We provided him with a very detailed schedule with exact times and songs that we wanted to be played during special moments of our event. He completely failed at my entrance as a bride-to-be. You could imagine I was devastated. I've always dreamed of this moment, and this DJ took that moment from me. He did not perform as expected, hence, unreliable. Moreover, he had us pay extra for fog during our engagement dance, but never even did it. He was suppose to bring in an extra laptop for us to have a monogram and failed to do that as well (again, even after multiple texts and emails confirming with him). This DJ is extremely unseasoned and lazy. I found it odd that he had asked us for a "must play songs list". Why? Shouldn't this be the DJ's responsibility? Shouldn't the DJ just ask us what we like and maybe get to know the couple? He didn't play anything in addition to the list that WE provided him. So in that case what was the point of having him? I don't understand all these past reviews he has with high ratings. I give him one star for honestly showing up. Other than that he's unprofessional. He was rude to my father-in-law (now hearing). He got into an altercation with one of our guests. Even the venue's event coordinator got on him for being unresponsive. After which, we had an open discussion with Tanveer about the miscommunication. His exact words were that he was going to show up to our event "salty". Which, honestly, he did that evening. To my future bride's or brides-to-be, please save yourself the stress, let-down, and money and please go with someone else. Just because something looks good in words and picture doesn't always mean it's the best. read more

DJ Tanveer did a great job at our wedding reception! He was very communicative prior to the event and asked for our input into what type of vibe and music we wanted. We gave him limited feedback since we were so busy with other reception planning but he really did a great job of reading the room and keeping the energy up! We also asked him to help with announcements during the reception and he did a great job of that as well. He also provided all of the lighting, which really helped with the ambiance! Would highly recommend DJ Tanveer! Thank you! read more

Tanveer (and his brother TJ) were our DJs for our wedding events and they did a great job overall. They were very communicative with us before the events, and accommodated some of our specific requests regarding the music and set up. During the event they played a great mix of modern Western and Bollywood music, along with classic songs that were a big hit with our friends and family. The photobooth and uplights were also a big hit. Would highly recommend them for anyone doing a Bay Area wedding! read more

So thrilled that we booked DJ Tanveer for our wedding weekend. He DJ'd both our Indian and western events and did a superb job of getting the crowd dancing. He was so easy to work with in terms of music selection, vibe, playlists, and coordinating music for each location (ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception). He's a full-service DJ who also provides lights, emceeing, and connection with other vendors, like our wonderful dholi. Highly recommend booking DJ Tanveer for your parties and weddings. read more

DJ Tanveer did an incredible job DJing and MCing our wedding! We especially loved the mix for the reception dance floor, he used all of our songs we suggested and added a few of his own that our party loved. My wife and I chose DJ Tanveer for our three day wedding. He was our DJ for our Sangeet, Baraat, and Reception. Best choice we made for our wedding! Our wedding guests included many Punjabis, Americans, and Spanish speakers. He did a flawless job of mixing together Bhangra classics with American pop/electronic songs, and throwing in reggaeton and salsa too. So many guests gave us compliments on his music, keeping the energy going for three days of dancing. Tanveer was extremely easy to work with--he showed up to our events very early, and always had his setups ready to go well in advance of our events. We provided a small selection of songs to convey the vibe we wanted for each event, and he filled in the rest. His lighting set-ups were great as well! Our Sangeet was in a warehouse/large event space, and our reception was in a country club. Both looked great with Tanveer's uplighting and intelligent lighting systems. Could not recommend Tanveer more. read more

DJ Tanveer was an excellent DJ for my wedding. He was very meticulous about the timeline and song requests we had for each part of the wedding day. He followed every request perfectly. We hired DJ Tanveer for our week of Indian American fusion wedding events and from start to finish, he was incredible! He took our vision of Punjabi and American pop/hip hop music fusion and made it even better than we ever could have hoped for. He was professional, attentive, and fun to work with. We had multiple vendors tell us our dance floor was the most packed one they had seen all wedding season! From a groom's point of view, I was very disappointed in DJ Tanveer's behavior, delivery, and performance. It was saddening to see the dance floor empty out multiple times throughout the night due to the DJ's lack of understanding. It was clear that he had not taken the time to review the event's details, audience preferences, nor any of the special requests that were made beforehand. This lack of preparation translated into random transitions without any cohesiveness. It was evident that he was making on-the-spot decisions without any consideration for how the music would flow and engage the audience. He failed to connect with the crowd. As the groom, I was very detailed with him about what our expectations were and what we depended on him to bring to the table. He did not deliver. It was evident that his emotional state was affecting his ability to deliver a professional and engaging set. He seemed disinterested in feedback and didn't respond well to requests. His overall attitude came across as indifferent, which created a big disconnect. The DJ's emotions seemed to overshadow the music, as he appeared distracted and unable to fully connect with the audience. His interactions with the crowd were minimal, and when he did engage, it was clear that his focus was elsewhere. This lack of engagement left the attendees feeling disconnected and uninvolved in the event. This inconsistency disrupted the flow of the event and made it difficult for our guests to fully enjoy the music. Moreover, I felt this DJ's primary focus was on maximizing his financial gain rather than providing a quality service for the event. When discussing the pricing, the DJ initially agreed to a certain fee, which was already established and agreed upon via contract. However, there seemed to be hidden fees for everything. It was evident that he was more interested in collecting additional fees than in delivering a memorable performance. This lack of enthusiasm and engagement was disappointing, especially considering the high fee he had already collected from us. On the day of the event, he further tried to charge us an additional fee, which was never agreed upon by myself. This led to an altercation with the DJ and one of our guests. The situation left a sour taste for us, the venue manager, and the attendees. Please be careful when choosing this DJ for your special event as it can have very deep, negative impact on the overall event experience. The only reason we chose this DJ was because our venue required us to do so, and DJ Tanveer was number one on their preferred vendor list. I hope our venue will reconsider this imposition of such DJ's for future events and reassess their DJ recommendations. read more

Tanveer and his team DJed our South Asian wedding in Oakland, CA. And they crushed it. He is very professional during the planning and contracting phase. Then on the day of they hit all the cues for the ceremony. But the main part of the review is the actual reception DJing. Dinner vibes were so good, as we had multiple people come up to us say "The DJ is killing it!!!" And I'll save the dance floor videos for our private collection, but let's just say all ages were dancing for a solid two hours between Bollywood/Bhangra, Reggaeton and Hip Hop banger after banger. A night we'll never forget, with many kudos to Tanveer and team for running the show. read more

We are so happy we went with DJ Tanveer for our wedding, from the baraat to the Hindu ceremony to the sangeet/reception. While I unfortunately was not able to book DJ Tanveer in time for my wedding this summer, he was incredibly responsive and helpful through it all - even going so far as to recommend another DJ (DJ Kirpal) for my wedding, who provided all the same items he did. Tanveer absolutely crushed our wedding events 2 years ago, and continued to show up and play amazing music throughout my sister in law's wedding this weekend. He's a very genuine guy, really easy to work with, and listens and accommodates all of our requests. He times everything correctly, understands the audience well, and sets the mood perfectly. We originally booked DJ Tanveer in October 2019 for our planned wedding in September 2020. Due to Covid-19, we had to reschedule our wedding to September 2021. Tanveer was incredibly flexible and helpful in making sure our original contract was honored and that he was available for our wedding. In addition to the music, Tanveer provided all of the Mandap furniture as well. We had no issues with the furniture delivery, set-up, and clean-up and Tanveer was extremely efficient and responsive in providing answers to any questions we had regarding the furniture. In regards to the music, Tanveer was amazing the entire evening. He assisted with ceremony music and microphones for the officiants, music for the cocktail hour, and then music for the entire evening reception. We provided Tanveer with a list of songs that coincided with certain entrances or dance peformances and he had them play effortlessly. Throughout the reception, Tanveer played an amazing mix of American, Latin, and Indian music (as per our request) and knew when to focus on certain music and when to read the vibe of the dance floor. We would absolutely recommend DJ Tanveer for future DJ and furniture rental services! read more

DJ Tanveer exceeded all our expectations at our wedding and was incredibly kind and easy to work with leading up to our big day. Between our Baraat, Ceremony, and Reception, he ensured all our songs were queued up at all the right moments and kept our crowd engaged on the dance floor until the end of the night. All our guests (young and old) mentioned how great the music was and he still had the chance to weave in some of our favorites from Bollywood to Afropop to Hip Hop! I cannot recommend DJ Tanveer enough! Not only is he the kindest man, but he is such a professional who knows exactly what he is doing while taking your requests and your overall vision into consideration. During my reception, he was able to effortlessly read the energy of the crowd and mix in songs that matched seamlessly. There was a perfect mix of Indian and American songs and he was so amazing about taking requests throughout the night, I don't think I ever left the dance floor the entire night. The lighting packages that he offered helped my reception ballroom come to life! I have never ever seen a dance floor more crowded and lively than at my wedding and not to mention all of my friends were commenting about how amazing he was! Just book him, you will not regret it! Tanveer is an absolutely amazing DJ!! After seeing him at a relatives wedding, we knew we wanted to hire him for our wedding. We hired him for our baraat, ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. He played great music, kept the crowd pumped and we received numerous compliments for him. We had planned to connect one final time before the day of to go through all the song details and exactly what we wanted during each event. So much was happening in the one week prior that we just kept missing each other due to conflicts and some personal things that came up for me. It was the night before and I realized we still hadn't spoke, I thought I was screwed. 10 hours before our baraat, at 11pm, I decided to give him a call since he told me to call anytime. He picked up right away! He was completely understanding, calm and ready to listen to every thing I had to say. We spoke for almost an hour going through every single detail and everything was set. My husband and I are not very picky about certain things and we left those up to Tanveer's discretion and he knocked it out of the ballpark every time. I was open to suggestions for other things and he offered an array of options for me to select from. I was incredibly grateful. At the last minute, we decided we wanted a dhol player. A dhol player was an option in Tanveer's list of services so I messaged Tanveer. He replied saying he called his contact and he was available for our day. Tanveer shared the contact with me and he was just as responsive. Got him booked within a few hours! The up-lights looked amazing, the fountain sparklers were a hit, the music got everyone dancing. He listened to our every need and answered every single one of my million questioned I pestered him with. His spreadsheets were extremely organized and kept me stress free throughout planning and the day of. I would recommend him for all your events! read more

I hired Tanveer for my wedding, which was a mixed desi/jewish wedding. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ. He felt out the crowd and what they wanted and played just the right mix of all types of music. The way songs flowed into one another was perfect. The dance floor was packed pretty much the whole time all nights of the wedding. Many guests told us that the music/DJ and the energy on the dance floor was one of the best they'd experienced at a wedding. We also kind of late into the planning told him we wanted to hire him for the Mehndi night before. Unfortunately he wasn't available, but he gave us a replacement DJ that he works with, DJ Kirpal, who was incredible too. DJ Kirpal then joined Tanveer on the next two nights and together did an amazing job. read more

I would give TWENTY stars if I could!!! DJ Tanveer was absolutely amazing. Beyond being incredibly professional, put together and prompt, he was also incredibly prepared. He helped us navigate items during our wedding that were completely out of left field, all while continuing bringing the party and vibes. We had a joint Indian/jewish wedding, and he was able really help us meld the two cultures so beautifully. He incorporated everything we wanted, from the specific songs, to helping us find a dholi, and his baarat was LITERALLY the talk of the town. He was so fun, so responsive, and so fantastic to work with. Being to a number of other Indian events in my day, he was by far the best. I had a lot of other family members there too, who were varied in their backgrounds, and he has something for everyone. From Bay Area hyphy music to Daddy Yankee to ABBA, he had everyone partying it up and then some. I couldn't have asked for a better DJ - hire him 1000% read more

I contacted Tanveer a day before my small Indian wedding, and he was super responsive and communicative on text! He did a fantastic job providing a mobile music cart for my baraat. His music was great, upbeat and kept the guests going till the very end. I would 100% recommend him for your music needs! read more

***Everybody move your body, now do it! Here's somethin that's gonna make you move and groove. Hey DJ keep playin that song all night, on and on and on*** Finding DJs are no picnic in the park, he is the one who controls the mood of the whole party once everybody is drunk and it's even harder when it comes to a wedding as he usually will have to MC and make sure the agenda is intact from the entrance, announcements, lighting/sound, etc. What DJ Tanveer Provides!?! ~~~Music~~~ He has everything from American, Punjabi, Hindi, and anything else you can possibly think of. ~~~Lighting~~~ He provides stage lighting, up-lights, monogram lighting, etc. They will do setup and haul away. ~~~Price~~~ Doesn't charge per hour, flat fee for the night and as my party went up to 2am in the morning that was a major plus for me! ~~~Professional~~~ DJ Tanveer is not just some guy doing this as a side hobby, he has a real office location where you can visit him for a consultation and choose your packages that fit your needs! Why pick DJ Tanveer?!? I was so worried as the crowd at my wedding was Indian-Chinese-Nicaraguan and we had to have remixes left and right and made sure we accomindate everybody on the dance floor. Well he did a great job incorporating Punjabi Music with American music and even some Reggaeton blended in there. Out of all the vendors we hired for our wedding we were extremely satisfied with DJ Tanveer!!! read more

DJ Tanveer rocks! I host Bollywood/Bhangra club events for Janta Connection and I have to say Dj Tanveer has rocked every event of mine. He keeps the club jumping all night and people come up to me all night and say this DJ is awesome! I dont think I have ever got that many positive comments about any of my DJs. People simply love him! Besides being good at what he does, he is very professional. He is on time to all the events, very quick with all messages and calls, and listens to what I tell him. He does what I ask him and always over exceeds my expectations! He knows how to ask the right questions that even I might forget at times. The one thing very important to me, he is up to date with the latest songs!! His song collections are with the latest as well as old, but for my club events, he knows whats good in Bollywood, Bhangra, & Top 40s...old or new, he has it! If for any reason he doesnt, he never says no. He says, sure I will get it! Awesome "can do" attitude. Tanveer knows what it takes to please the crowd which is very important for my events. His super friendly and patient personality is a cherry on the top! I have always heard amazing feedback for all other wedding/birthday gigs he has done. And especially for those types of events, a patient/friendly DJ can ease a lot of stress. Especially if he can deal with my 20 text messages in 2 minutes and be responsive with a smile! Tanveer is fantastic! My school has used him as a DJ for our events for years, and he's friendly and easy to work with, responsive, flexible, has an array of add-on options you can choose from that fit whatever budget you have, and crucially for us, reliable. He takes the time to understand your audience to create a set list that appeals to them (or work with you on one you've created), and is able to adjust mid-event if they respond to one type of music or another. A little overdue on writing this review but I wanted to ensure both my Husband and I can collaborate to leave this review for Tanveer. Where can I even begin with him. He is just absolutely the BEST DJ I know (instead of hands down I'll say Hands up because that was everyone the whole time during our wedding LOL =P ). Our families can vouch for that as well because they all loved him and want him to play at their events as well. I've seen Tanveer DJ at a few places but to have him play at our wedding was the best decision my husband and I made! Tanveer and his Dholi kept our dance floor full and going until the lights went on and that means something to us because music is what brought my husband and I together so to see him bring our loved ones together under one roof, having the best time of their lives was beyond incredible. Purag and I just want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for dealing with all my texts leading up to the wedding, for catering to our wedding with the diverse crowd we had and overall just making our wedding even more beautiful with your music! :) Also he was there all day for us from the Baraat, Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, to the Reception and provided us a Dholi, Uplights, and Photobooth. I would 100% recommend Tanveer to anyone I know so if you're reading this review debating to hire him then I would stop thinking about it and give Tanveer a call now! :) Purag&Sohniya! read more

Tanveer played two crucial roles at our wedding this weekend. First, he was the DJ for our Indian baarat. Second, he helped coordinate the music and lighting for our cocktails and evening reception. He was awesome on all counts. We started by meeting a few weeks ahead of the event, and talked through everything, including the playlist, venue layout, lightning, etc. He even helped us create our first dance medley of 8 different songs. On the day of, Tanveer was super professional, and threw a great party. All our guests had a blast, and a bunch of them commented on how great the music was. I would highly recommend Tanveer! read more

Tanveer deserves a 10/10 review! He was so quick to respond (excellent communication) and his music was a hit at our mehndi/sangeet event. He had songs from all parts of India which was so great bc we were a Gujarati/Telugu fusion wedding! People cannot stop talking about how great the music was. I'd recommend Tanveer for any event! read more

Tanveer recently DJ'd for my engagement party and wedding, and he did an amazing job! We had an Indian and Mexican fusion wedding, and one of our concerns was that the music wouldn't be engaging enough for the whole group the entire time. This wasn't the case, and many of our guests from Mexico repeatedly commented on how seamlessly Tanveer was able to mix Latin and Indian beats. There was never a dull moment on the dance floor when guests stood awkwardly or just left. The only real criticism I have is that he didn't play much of the music I requested, and I would have preferred less "top 100 pop" songs. No biggie in terms of overall party experience, but it would have been more special for the groom and I if he had done so. He kept the party going and obviously the mobile baraat service was a huge hit too. We'll be happy to have him DJ at our future events. read more

We selected DJ Tanveer per our planner's glowing recommendation (planner was the amazing Denise of Denise Lillie engagements). DJ Tanveer was extremely responsive and easy to work with. He oversaw the music for dinner (which we had made a specific playlist for with key songs spelled out for entrance and speeches transitions) and mixed music for the dance floor based on our fave artists and direction as to Hollywood/Bollywood breakdown. Unfortunately, our speeches ran WAY over cutting 30 minutes out of our dance time. However, DJ Tanveer picked up the speed and mixed the music such the short dance floor time felt lengthened. He was able to keep the energy level high and most people on the dance floor during the compressed time. He also provided a photo booth and props, which was a hit. The photo booth was well priced and given our short timeline, he was willing to reduce the minimum hour/fee for it. I was told the photo booth was on the "basic" end of the range, but it was everything I expected it to be...a free standing booth with a background and some fun props. It was not manned but to be honest, you don't really need someone to supervise a photobooth given how popular they are...everyone knows what to do. We selected a guest book that had photobooth sleeves so it was easy for guests to slip a copy into the book without creating long wait times to do so (versus using tape). We highly recommend selecting DJ Tanveer for your wedding - ESPECIALLY if you are a mixed race couple. He was able to keep both sides of the family on the dance floor at the same time! What a skill. Furthermore, he refrained from making unnecessary announcements and did not have a hype man speaking into the mic (the WORST!)...I have been to some Indian weddings that feel as if it's more about the DJ than the guests and this is a pet peeve of mine. Glad to report this was not the case with DJ Tanveer. Look no further for your musical needs! read more
