Raymond went above and beyond expectation. Our wedding would not have been a success without Raymond. From the very first call we had with Raymond, we really liked how professional he was and knew we can put our trust in him. Our calls and interactions were always smooth and everything was clearly addressed. Raymond is really responsive, easy to talk to, flexible, and understanding. On our wedding day, we were very impressed by all his executions. Everything was exactly where they were suppose to be, the right playlists were being played when they should be, and sound quality was superb! We were amazed by the setup at our reception. It was done super professionally and we were amazed by all the equipment set up in the room. When Raymond says he is going to surprise you and hype the guests up, he is not joking! His MC skills are out of the world and we are so grateful for everything he did to pump up our guests. Highly recommend Raymond for any DJ services you may need! read more

Raymond is the best!! My wife and I are so so thankful to have had Raymond DJ for our wedding. We had our own custom tracks, scripts, and playlists, and had several meetings with Raymond in preparation for the big day. Raymond is extremely professional and experienced, and working with him was super smooth and a great pleasure! On the day of our wedding, Raymond absolutely NAILED it! He exceeded our expectations and everything went absolutely perfectly. Raymond's MC skills are also incredibly impressive! He really brought the life and energy to our event, especially for our reception and dance party, and we couldn't thank him enough for it! Raymond is so creative with finding ways to get everyone up on their feet and in a great mood! Our wedding honestly would not have been anywhere near as awesome if it wasn't for Raymond. Raymond is reliable, experienced, professional, and an amazingly talented DJ and MC. I would 100% hire him again for any of our future occasions, and gladly recommend him for any events you may have! read more

Based on the great reviews for DJ Raymix, I knew he'd be good, but after getting to know him and having him DJ for our wedding this past weekend, I can't think of anyone better, and we're so happy to have worked together. Early on in the wedding planning stages, we met virtually and talked about different options for music, sound, uplighting, and other potential add-ons to customize the DJ/MC package to how we wanted. DJ Raymix has a ton of experience, had already been to our venue before, and his prices were reasonable. What we really valued was that he's a good guy - we could tell off the bat that he cared about making it the best wedding experience for us, and we discovered his passion for helping others when he isn't DJ-ing, which meant a lot to us. Closer to the wedding date, we met again to discuss music and MC needs, where he took care to make sure he pronounced names correctly, understood the schedule, and made sure to play the right parts of the songs for walk-up songs. During the wedding, he worked independently and we didn't need to worry about anything. In fact, we had to shift some things in the schedule, and he was able to work those changes in smoothly. The whole time, he was calm and cool, which helped settle my nervous self down. He also definitely kept the dance party going, with good song choices, seamless transitions, and playing a variety of songs accessible to all ages that were there. I really can't recommend DJ Raymix enough due to his experience, DJ skill, communication, and ability to work with the couple. Thank you so much, DJ Raymix! read more

DJ Raymix went above and beyond our expectations. The music for our wedding was one of the most important things to us. DJ Raymix kindly met with us beforehand to discuss details, answer questions, and alleviate any concerns we had. He was a fantastic MC during our reception and had an incredible playlist with smooth transitions during the dance portion of the evening. We and our guests were very impressed with his work. We would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ for their event! read more

We cannot thank Raymond enough for his incredible DJ and MC skills. He was so easy to work with and he catered exactly to the type of music we wanted at our wedding. He's professional, organized, prepared, and easy going. We loved his energy, especially when getting everyone (200 people) out on the dance floor! We couldn't have had a better experience. Thank you so much, Raymond, for making our wedding so memorable and beautiful. read more

Raymond was absolutely amazing and my husband and I couldn't recommend him more! He DJ'd our wedding early this month in Livermore and was so unbelievably patient with our last minute planning and lack of structure the day of. He's professional, kind, understanding of the chaotic wedding planning process and is a wonderful DJ. Played everything we wanted and then some. Kept the dance floor alive even though we had a lot of non-dancers in attendance lol. HIGHLY RECOMMEND BOOKING HIM. You will not regret it- 10/10 experience!! read more

I only met with one DJ during wedding planning because after meeting Raymond, I knew I wouldn't find anyone better. He was friendly, knowledgeable, professional--and most importantly, super fun! He walked us through all his packages, and we found the perfect deal for our wedding. Although we had a live mariachi band for the ceremony, Raymond still provided the speakers and microphones, which was perfect. During the reception, he was an amazing DJ and MC. He played fantastic music that really energized the crowd, which was important to us. We received so many compliments about how awesome our DJ was. He was easy to work with and respected all our music choices. I highly recommend Raymond for any DJ or MC needs! read more

Having DJ Raymix at our wedding was the best decision we made! I knew that having a good DJ/MC would set the tone for the entire night, and Raymond did not disappoint! He followed our song lists perfectly and was so easy to communicate with leading up to our big day. I loved all of the energy he brought with his MC skills, and he played an epic set for our dance floor. Pro tip: Get the lighting upgrade that he offers, especially the synchronized uplighting!! It made such a difference at setting the mood. I really wouldn't look anywhere else if you need a wedding DJ in the Bay Area! read more

We worked with DJ Raymix for our wedding and everything went beyond our expectations! We really wanted to have an electronic music centered vibe, but also wanted to make sure there was some music for everyone else who wasn't familiar with electronic music and DJ Raymix did exactly that. For our ceremony, reception entrances, and first/parent dances, I knew vaguely where I wanted to start and end the songs, but had no idea how to transition from one to the other - DJ Raymix was able to flow it all together seamlessly! He did a fantastic job getting all the guests up, vibing and wanting more at the end of the night. I would definitely recommend DJ Raymix if you're looking to bring the energy at your event! Quote from one of my friends: "Instead of clubs and DJ sets, let's just do Alison and Brian's wedding again" :) read more

DJ Raymix Raymond is THE best wedding DJ. I've been to a lot of weddings, and he really is THE BEST. He was responsive with emails from the initial consultation, and all the way until the big day. He was PERFECT on our wedding day. I was nervous about the wrong songs being played, or the sound system messing up and our guests not being able to hear anything. But it was flawless! He arrived early to set up, and was a complete professional. Raymond knew how to keep the dance floor going, mixing in the right songs at the right moment. I enjoyed his music for every part of the wedding - when guests arrived, the cocktail hour, the reception, and of course the dancing portion. I gave him the rein with choosing what songs he should play, and he exceeded all expectations. I also wanted to add one more thing -- he's a FANTASTIC MC! He did things that I didn't ask for or even know I wanted. For example, he involved all guests by having them wave their napkins during our grand entrance. Little things like this really made our wedding so much fun! Our guests said a lot of great things about Raymond. We were SO LUCKY that he was available on our wedding day. I highly recommend DJ Raymix. His prices are very reasonable. Book him now before he's unavailable! He'll make your wedding into a PAR-TAY! read more

I don't write reviews nowadays and I'm doing this because we want everyone to know how phenomenal DJ Raymix was for our wedding and want to help his business thrive. He was very responsive throughout the process. We wanted a club style music and his mashups were on cue. He has the dance floor packed which I've attended many weddings normally don't see. Lots of people came up to us telling us how much they enjoyed the music and the energy. He was fantastic in going through the timeline including the shoe game. His announcement brought people to cheer us on during the entrance walk and got people to use their phone's flashlight for our first dance which we didn't expect. If you're looking for a DJ that will cater to your liking and bring the crowd to the dance floor, we highly recommend DJ Raymix. read more

My hubs & I are so blessed and grateful to have crossed paths and have DJ Raymix as our DJ & MC. He's the most thoughtful, kind and energetic DJ ever! We synced up about a week before our big day to go over song picks, timeline, and he made some very insightful recommendations so we could have a flawless celebration. At our reception, he seriously blew us away with all the big and small details -- like how he introduced the bridal party with everyone waving their napkins to greet everybody in, how he hyped up the crowd and got everyone excited and dancing (even the folks who normally don't really like to dance ;-)). It was a surreal and awe-inspiring experience from start to finish with DJ Raymix by our side! Please hire him for all your DJ needs. He'll help make your event a night to remember! read more

Thank you DJ Raymix and his crew!! Wow.. I just had the best wedding ever! DJ Raymix is so friendly and professional and above all, he got the crowd at my SUNDAY wedding to get on their feet and dance! Everyone warned me not to expect dancing on my wedding night as it's Sunday and people will be anxious to leave to get ready for work on Monday. But.. DJ Raymix was able to effortlessly get the crowd going and people were dancing all the way until the last slow dance. I'm still in disbelief! Everyone told me how much they loved the music and how fun my wedding was. I sincerely think the DJ is the most important part of a wedding as they set the tone (will this be a lame formal wedding or a cool get down and PARTY wedding!!) DJ Raymix was also very responsive via text and we met twice before our wedding to go over the plan. **Also, he provided for a small fee extra lighting which really added to the pictures! Check out the pic of my hubby and I dancing, we asked for hot pink lights and they were perfect! read more

I hired Ray to be the DJ for my company's Christmas party. He managed to give us a good price and was very professional about everything. On the day of the party. He set everything up and had such great playlist. He always made sure everyone was entertained. He even got the karaoke system up and going for my co workers to entertain the rest of us. He's got a variety of songs. He can always find the song you're looking for, whether it's in Tagalog or even Vietnamese. He will find it and he will play it for you. He's got all the equipment for your party needs. He even brought lights. He's got different options for you to choose from. He also does weddings :) read more

DJ Raymix and DJ Ryano were very professional. Raymix is always prompt at every meeting that I've asked him to attend to before my wedding. You can count on these guys, and they'll deliver you the best music and hype that you need. They have great quality sound systems, and are very updated with their DJ software/mobility. Definitely these DJ's and their production will evolve tremendously through out the bay area! They Dj's and awesome job at our wedding, and everything was on point. We were not disappointed, since we already had them in mind, before the actual planning. Everyone enjoyed the music! Theo and I highly recommend Raymix and Ryano to any sort of event! read more

I have worked with Raymond for over 10 years and he is very professional. During the event planning, setup, and post tear down, everything is timed and completed in positive manner. From doing cotillions, weddings, and outdoor music events, Raymond is a very reliable worker, which is hard to come by for a DJ contractor. Raymond is a hard worker and prepares himself and owns the event planning process like if it was his own. That results in a more personal touch and going above and beyond the expectations of a mobile DJ. read more

We kept getting compliments all night long from our wedding guests on how awesome our playlist and MC was. It was all thanks to Raymond. We gave him mostly free reign to do whatever and he ran with it. He did a couple things I haven't seen at other weddings that got everyone involved. Our shy parents decided they wanted to do parent dances 2 nights before our wedding and he accommodated it. During our father/daughter and mother/son dances he got the crowd swaying their arms and singing along so it felt more fun/less awkward. Right after cake cutting, he told everyone to get on the dance floor to take a giant group photo then followed up with popular dance music. Smart way to get everyone on the dance floor! During our phone consultation with him 2 weeks before the wedding, he recommended making time for table visits, which we totally overlooked. We haven't been to a wedding with table visits the past 2 years so didn't think much of it, but we're glad we followed his advice because it gave us a chance to talk to all of our guests. Raymond's a super fun and friendly DJ/MC who knows how to work the crowd! read more

I hired Raymond for my wedding. From the first time we talked on the phone I knew he was the best in the job. You can tell a DJ did an excellent job when all your guest and invites say that your wedding is the best wedding they ever. Basically, he transformed every person into "I-want to-have-fun-and-dance" machines. I will highly recommend Raymond not just for weddings but for any event which involves music, great ambiance, tons of fun and positive vibes. read more

My wife and I had DJ Raymix provide the tunes and was the MC at our wedding and he was amazing! He did such a great job and kept the energy levels in tune with pace of the wedding as the night went on. During the dancing segment, ERRbody was on the dance floor gettin it! The song transitions were flawless and he was SO easy to work with, everything from the initial consultation call, to song selections, to execution of our special day - it was all an A+ experience. Thank you DJ Raymix for making our wedding an unforgettable one! read more

I LOVE DJ Raymix and the whole Prolific crew! I've been working with them for years. I've used them for events that I've planned (school dances, friends' parties, and I've even used them for a few non-profit events) and most recently, for my wedding. DJ Raymix and the rest of the Prolific crew are very professional. During our face-to-face meeting, he gave us an idea of what we should expect from him and his crew. We also went over a few "must play" songs with him and he really tried to get a feel for our wedding style. He's very experienced and he knew just what to expect from a traditional, Filipino wedding. He had a lot of his own suggestions, and added "Achy Breaky Heart" and "Ocho Ocho" to our list of must plays. On the day of the event, his professionalism continued. DJ Raymix and the other Prolific DJs showed up to our event early and were ready to perform well before the reception started. He also brought it his own emcees who practiced our wedding party's names over and over (to make sure they got it right!). They kept the party popping all night long. We love DJ Raymix and the Prolific DJs and we'd love to use them again! read more

Very professional and down to earth guy! Raymond has great communication skills and always seeks to take care of his clients. His resume is extensive and experience is DIVERSE...Everything from weddings, birthdays, nightclub venues, corporate events, etc. There are not many people out there who are well versed as he is which is valuable since every event requires different levels of coordination, so it's good to be able to consult his expertise and have him take the stress from you. Many people look at the DJ as somebody who just plays music, but Raymond is one of a kind. He brings many skills to the table and will not only provide your musical and emcee needs, he is great to work with and will help make your event a memorable one! read more

Wow I cannot say enough good things about Raymond - he made our wedding reception such a blast! We interviewed two other DJs, and Raymond was definitely the most easygoing and cool. He also had great pricing for 5 hours and a complete setup. We met twice before the wedding, and we exchanged emails and texts about song selection. On the day of, everyone kept telling me how great the DJ was! He MC'd the whole thing, announcing as the night went on and he had it under total control. Absolutely everyone was dancing, literally every single one of our guests, and the song selection and transitions were perfect. Beyond that, Raymond created several unique moments for our photographer to capture, and that was just so thoughtful of him! We're so glad to be joining the chorus of glowing reviews for DJ Raymix - don't hesitate in hiring him! read more

Biggest thanks to DJ Raymond! My husband and I used him for our wedding and we absolutely did not regret it. He is so easy to work with and he's super nice. We had one consultation in person meeting with him prior to the wedding and one conference call. He was very professional during the meetings and took note of exactly what we did and did not want for our meeting. Another reason why I give him 5 stars is because he catered to our guests. He made sure he didn't place his speakers next to our tables with babies or elderly. When our guests made song requests, he played those songs quickly. Not only is he professionally but he is also fun to work with. He definitely hyped up the crowd throughout our reception. At the very end when he played his last song, he went on the dance floor and danced with us ! He's a really cool guy and if you're looking for a DJ, definitely book DJ Raymond. read more

Best DJ ever and the whole prolific crew. Thank you so much for making our wedding very special and so much fun... DJ Raymix is so nice and very easy to deal with. I was so busy preparing for the wedding and he helped out a lot til the last minute. Everytime I needed help with anything just one text or email he would reply to me right away. We even made a last minute changes before the reception started. All my guests in the wedding had so much fun and were very impressed with them. I will definitely hire DJ Raymix and his crew again. If you guys are looking to have fun and to party you won't regret if you hire DJ Raymix!!! Again DJ Raymix and crew you guys are the best and I can't thank you enough!!! Til next time read more

I hired Raymond for my 40th birthday party and I cannot say enough good things about him. Working with him was a smooth and simple process. He is super easy going and knows how to work a party. It is hard to find a good DJ. Having gone to parties in the past, it's hard to find a DJ that has a good interaction with the crowd, knows how to read a crowd to keep them entertained and keep them on the dance floor. Not a problem for DJ Raymix! All this and he is a highly skilled DJ! There was high praise from my guests and myself after my even was over. Raymond is an overall cool dude and you would be lucky to hire him for your next event. read more

After an exhaustive review of DJs, listening to samples and getting to know each over the phone, we hired DJ Raymix and Prolific Weddings for our July wedding last year. Alongside our wedding coordinator (Pamela Fields at the University Club of Palo Alto), Raymond was our favorite decision and key to blowing us and our guests away during the night! We had expectations for what the DJ would do and that was about 20% of what he actually did. As others have reviewed, Raymond is the entire entertainment for the night, and after talking with us about what we wanted during the event, delivered the 100x version of our requests and blew us away. My wife and I looked at each other a few times during the night in awe of Raymond and how he was orchestrating the event. Also, I listen to *a lot* of dance music, as do many of my friends, and we heard completely new songs, new remixes of songs, and epic mixes throughout the night. The six or so songs at the end of the night give me the chills to this day. What was even better, the music was inclusive, and the dance floor was packed with our friends, *our relatives,* and we were all having a blast. Thank you, Raymond, DJ Raymix, Prolific Weddings, for being more than we could have dreamed. Kim & Alex P.s. I've been thinking of an excuse to throw another event ever since. read more

THE BEST WEDDING DJ THERE IS! Raymond did such an amazing job for our wedding at the Palm Event Center. Great energy, great music, great guy! Thank you Ray for keeping my daughter's birthday party interesting!

DJ Raymix - one of the most underrated DJs in San jose - is highly sought after on the weekends. When he isn't rocking the clubs, he's usually doing a private event. I've partnered up with him to do a couple events and he's always top-notch and professional. His mic-presence will capture the entire room. Book him before his rates go up! read more

I hired Raymond for a corporate holiday party and it was a hit!! He accommodated all our special music requests including Christmas music, and Spanish music... even Spanish Christmas music, lol. The party music and dancing was great, but the real kicker is that he helped to manage the flow of the party without any rehearsal. He had music cued and ready to go for an awards ceremony, and I never even asked for that! I was blown away and several employees on Monday morning complimented me on having the Rocky theme and We Will Rock You for the award winners. I didn't even plan that! He gets all the credit. That's just how awesome he is. BTW, he was on time, and very professional. I can tell he takes the job seriously and is serious about making your party special. I definitely would recommend Raymond for any type of event, and I'll be calling him for our next corporate event where we need a DJ. read more

DJ Raymix was a referral from a friend of a friend. From the very first moment I met DJ Raymix I had a really good feeling about his capabilities and automatically knew he would do a great job. He was very professional and knew eaxctly what he needed to do to make our wedding perfect. Our wedding was three weeks ago and we're still talking about the awesome time we had and we have DJ Raymix to thank for that. My wife and I are very low key. We hired DJ Raymix with the intentions of him just playing our song when walking down the aisle along with a group of songs we had chosen to be played during the reception. We had NO intentions of dancing and didn't even think for a second our family and friends would even entertain the idea of dancing. Boy were we wrong. DJ Raymix threw down all of the right songs and transitioned from one song to another seamlessly. He managed to get our friends and family pumped. We didn't have a dance floor because we had an outdoor wedding but that didn't matter. Our friends and family got down and started dancing. They didn't care that they were dancing on gravel and dirt. Even my grandmother at age 83 got got out there and danced. My family lost our grandfather earlier this year back in February. My grandmother was having a difficult time coping the last few months. I was surprised to see how happy she was dancing. It really touched us all. I know she had an awesome time and I have DJ Raymix to thank for exciting everyone. I've already started to refer DJ Raymix to friends who are already planning their own wedding. I'm certain he will not disappoint. Thanks for the fun and wonderful memories DJ Raymix! Keep up the great work. read more

Thanks to Raymond-mom had the funnest retirement party ever. Her co-workers had said they've "never been to a retirement party like this". Requested hawaiian theme music.
