It was super important for us to incorporate Filipino music and culture into our celebration, and he nailed it. He played our requested Filipino tracks at the perfect moments and played all of our other requested songs seamlessly. He read the room perfectly and kept the energy high all night. The dance floor was so packed that people were literally dancing at their tables and off the floor! Even our older guests were out there having fun until the end. Do yourself a favor and make sure to book DJ Devere for your wedding!

DJ Devere was amazing and absolutely crushed it as our wedding DJ and MC!…read more We came to him with a very specific vision to recreate our experience at Coachella--a mix of custom song requests and a blend of genres from EDM, Drum and Bass Dubstep, K-pop, and R&B--and he more than delivered! It was a blast. The dancefloor was full all night and we essentially tore the roof off of our wedding venue. He also custom-remixed a couple songs for us that allowed us to seamlessly transition from our grand entrance to wedding dance and then after for our grand exit. All flawless. Beyond the music, he was fantastic as our MC, keeping the events flowing effortlessly and maintaining incredible energy throughout the night. Thank you, Rob, for going above and beyond with your sets and making one of the best nights of our lives so unforgettable! 11/10.

DJ Raffi was honestly my FAVORITE vendor from our entire two-day Indian wedding weekend. He was…read moreincredible. We hired him for night one, our welcome party, and originally expected the vibe to be pretty chill. We figured there might be some dancing, but that he would mostly be MCing and providing background music. Instead, he read the crowd so well that he somehow got everyone onto the dance floor at a party that was not even supposed to be our big dancing event. One moment perfectly sums up how good he is. During my maid of honor's speech, she mentioned that I love One Direction and Zayn Malik. Immediately afterward, Raffi played "What Makes You Beautiful," and it was SUCH a hit. I had never put that song on any request list and honestly would not even have thought to ask for it, but in the moment it was exactly the right song. That is Raffi's superpower. He actually listens to what is happening in the room, understands the crowd, and knows what people want to hear before you even realize it yourself. We are also an Indian couple, and even though Raffi is not specifically an Indian DJ, he mixed Indian and Western music together seamlessly. At one point we had people doing bhangra on the dance floor and everyone was SO excited. He absolutely understood the assignment. He also has a fantastic announcer voice and MC presence, while still feeling natural and fun rather than over-the-top. And beyond being talented, he is just such a kind guy and incredibly easy to work with. He took a welcome party that we expected to be relatively chill and turned it into one of the most fun nights of our wedding weekend. I genuinely cannot recommend DJ Raffi more highly.

As planners, we always appreciate working with vendors who are talented, reliable, collaborative, and easy to communicate with, and Raffi was all of that and more. We would absolutely recommend him and the Sound In Motion team to couples looking for an incredible DJ and a smooth, fun guest experience!

He knew exactly how to read the crowd, build energy at just the right moments, and keep people on their feet from start to finish. Beyond his talent for mixing and reading a crowd, what really impressed us was his flexibility -- he was able to make changes on the whim, adjusting the flow of the night seamlessly whenever we needed. MC Anthony + DJ / Photo Booth / Lighting = PURE MAGIC…read more When we booked this team for an over the top 8th grade dance party, I said (only half-joking): "I'm looking for ultimate bar-mitzvah-level energy -- the kind that gets every kid dancing, laughing, and begging for just one more song." They didn't just meet that vision -- they blew past it. From the moment the music started, the entire space was transformed. The lighting alone turned a basic banquet room into a full-on club -- festive, electric, and instantly exciting. The photo booth added nonstop silliness and memories, and the kids LOVED it. But the real star of the night was MC Anthony. He is not just an MC -- he's a hype man, a game-show host, a magician, and a kid-whisperer all rolled into one. He had games, contests, call-and-response moments, and the kind of inclusive energy that makes every kid feel comfortable jumping in. Everyone was on the dance floor. Laughing. Moving. Taking risks. Living their best middle-school lives. He somehow managed to: * break the ice instantly * keep energy high for the entire event * make shy kids feel confident * and create a vibe where no one wanted to leave the dance floor If you're looking for a DJ team that doesn't just play music, but creates joy, connection, and unforgettable moments, stop searching. MC Anthony and this team are all that -- and then some. I would book them again in a heartbeat.
