I had met DJ Asthmatc at my neighbors party last year and asked him to dj my wedding reception . Him and DJ Jeffaahh showed up to DJ my wedding and it was fantastic . I also asked him if he had a photobooth setup so we were able to do that as well . He has a great system and was really able to work well with the crowd and put up with all my ratchet friends . I loved how he played all the Bay Area slaps for us . I highly recommend DJ Asthmatc and DJ Jeffaaahh they are super professional and punctual and so easy and friendly to work with . read more

Where do we even begin. DJ Asthmatc did not just DJ our wedding, he made our night feel like a dream. From day one, he was so communicative. Stayed organized with Google Docs and emails. Quick replies. Clear timelines. Thoughtful questions. He made the entire planning process feel smooth and stress-free, which is saying a lot when you're planning a wedding. But beyond being professional, he is just a genuinely good human. So friendly, easy to talk to, and pleasant to work with that it literally felt like we had another cousin running the show. By the wedding day, he felt like family. As an MC? Smooth. Confident. Kept everything flowing perfectly without ever making it about him. Announcements were crisp, transitions were seamless, and the vibe was immaculate. Flexible on the fly, he absolutely killed it. And when it was time to open the dance floor??? He brought the SLAPZ. He read the room and kept the dance floor full the whole time. Aunties were dancing. The homies were sweating. The non-Filipinos were vibing. If you want someone who is organized, professional, feels like family, and will absolutely have your entire guest list moving all night -- book DJ Asthmatc. No notes. 10/10. Would get married again just to run that set back. read more

I cannot recommend DJ Asthmatc and DJ Jeffah enough! They turned my graduation party into an unforgettable celebration that felt like a true Filipino family bash with a soul! I was recommended DJ Asthmatc from another DJ who already was booked on the day of my graduation party. And I'm so happy that I was given the opportunity to work with Dj Asthmatc! what stood out, from our first interaction was his professionalism, organization, responsiveness, and excitement about the party. He made the logistics easy, the invoice, contract, all handled smoothly and stress-free. But where he truly shined was his ability to read the room and bring my eclectic playlist to life! I gave DJ Asthmatc a playlist that was all over the place--we're talking: Pop punk Motown & Jazz 90s R&B & Hip Hop Filipino hip hop and OPM classics Hawaiian and reggae vibes Bay Area club staples like E-40 & Mac Dre Not only did he embrace the diversity, but he also actually listened to many of those artists himself--that gave me so much peace of mind. He blended genres seamlessly and adjusted based on the vibe and energy in the room. True professional. Both DJ Asthmatc and DJ Jeffah MC'd naturally without me needing to prompt them every hour. They took my vision and ran with it, keeping the flow effortless and the energy high. DJ Asthamtc taught a line dance, started a soul train line, and even let my dad jump in for impromptu karaoke. It felt like a true Filipino party, and everyone had a blast. Also, DJ Asthmatc went above and beyond and took the time to hop on a call with me a few days before the party to go over all the small details. That personal touch made me feel truly confident that this wasn't just a DJ that pressed play. He took detailed notes and brought them to life during the event with perfect timing of songs, shoutouts, and transitions that made everything feel seamless. Planning a party with over 120 guests and multiple vendors felt more like planning a wedding--super stressful. On the day, I was overwhelmed trying to manage everything: greeting guests, answering questions, coordinating vendors, and being pulled for photos. I barely had a second to enjoy it. Then I had a quiet moment by the DJ Booth, and Dj Asthmatc said, "Wow, Kimberly, this is a lot of people, and they all came here to support you and celebrate you." That really hit me. It reminded me to stop, breathe, and take in the love and support around me to celebrate this milestone. So thank you, DJ Asthmatc, for grounding me in the moment. I needed that and I'll never forget it. You the real MVP so, thanks homie! Final Thoughts: After planning this party and getting to know them, DJ Asthmatc and DJ Jeffah aren't just vendors, they're family now. This is a well-oiled duo that genuinely loves what they do, and it shows in every interaction, every mix, every moment. If you want a fun, well-executed, personalized experience from DJs who truly understand the assignment ;) , book DJ Asthmatc and DJ Jeffah NOW! 10/10 would party with again :D read more

Kyle AKA DJ Asthmatc was the best DJ my wife & I could ever wish for on the most important day of our lives. Kyle is very professional, passionate, and not only a great DJ but a great MC. He not only made the wedding super fun & made us feel super comfortable from the beginning of the wedding, grand entrances, to the end of the night. It was a pleasure having him DJ/MC. He also helped set up a projector and slide show for a loved one who passed away and it was very beautiful / smoothly ran. Would highly recommend for any event! read more

Dj Asthmatc and his team, the Uplifters, are a great bunch of people to work with. They made it all easy from our first communication. He gave us a DJ package that suited our needs within our budget. We needed a DJ for my sister's 18th birthday celebration. They are experienced with Cotillions and Debuts so I thought they were the perfect people for the job. Dj Asthmatc was already booked for the date we needed, but he recommended another person from his team, DJ Ragoonz. Ragoonz came in well-prepared and made sure to follow all of our song requests for the day's itinerary. The open dance floor at the end of the day was super fun. He bridged all the songs from the older generation and the younger generation. He 100% understood the assignment. Big thanks to Dj Asthmatc, Dj Ragoonz, and the Uplifters team. So much to say about DJ Asthmatc but all I will say is you have to book him for your wedding or any celebration really!! He is your ultimate hype man, down to earth, and keeps the crowd going. It was because of Kyle our wedding events were on time, loud, clear, and he brought all the good energy. He was also mindful of the cultural / religious break times for prayer and desi traditional games. Overall, the communication was easy and smooth and he even came out to tour the venue a couple times to make sure we got everything right! My best friend had Kyle play at her wedding last summer and I just knew I had to book him for mine. Thank you Kyle and to your partner for wowing all of our friends and family with the good tunes and memories that will last a lifetime! read more

DJ ASTHMATC!! Hands down our favorite vendor that we booked. He made our wedding so much more fun than we could've possibly imagined - all our guests were raving about him and of course we couldn't stop either. But not only does he have immaculate music taste, he is the perfect blend of professional and personable. Throughout the process, he was incredibly accommodating and responded with lightning speed no matter what crazy hour we contacted him. He honestly felt like a friend and made us so comfortable from day one. He's the kind of vendor you and your guests won't forget. We love you Kyle, thank you so much! read more

Got to experience both DJ Big Kev and DJ Asthmatc (Kyle) at my cousin's wedding, my whole table barely ate our dinner because we were too busy getting down to their old school R&B set. Fast forward a couple months, I reach out to both Kevin and Kyle to see if either were available to spin for my wife's 50th. Fast forward a couple months Kyle kills it!...AND on vinyl!...5 straight hours! Also helped to coordinate my best attempt at my singing performance gift to the wifey! This night will be remembered by all 40+ guests for a lifetime, we trusted Kyle and more than delivered. Very professional yet very down to earth, very responsive and very flexible. 10/10 recommendation any day of the year. Well done fellas read more

The BEST DJ Ever -- DJ Asthmatc Made Our Wedding Unforgettable! If you're looking for a sign to book DJ Asthmatc -- THIS IS IT. He truly is the best DJ ever! From the moment the night started, we knew we were in for something special. The vibes were immaculate right from the jump. He played everything we loved -- from timeless classics to the perfect hype songs -- and somehow kept every single guest on the dance floor all night long. We had a Polynesian wedding in Hawaii, and DJ Asthmatc completely outdid himself. He blended island jams, R&B, old-school hits, and feel-good bangers flawlessly. He made sure both the young crowd and the older generation were dancing and enjoying every second. It wasn't just music -- it was an experience. Not only is he insanely talented, but he's also super professional, organized, and easy to work with. His team was exceptional and made everything seamless. We're SO happy we booked him -- it was totally worth it, and then some. DJ Asthmatc, thank you for bringing the energy, the love, and the soundtrack to the best night of our lives. We cannot say enough good things about Kyle! He seriously went above and beyond to make our wedding day everything we dreamed of and more. First off, Kyle is incredibly flexible and accommodating. We threw so many last-minute additions at him - CO cannons, uplights, stage covers - and he handled everything without breaking a sweat. He also actually READ our (admittedly very Type A) detailed wedding schedule and music sheets, which made everything run seamlessly. Kyle's music range is insane. He played for our cocktail hour, American ceremony, and dinner reception, and kept everyone dancing - from Gen Z guests who wanted EDM, to our older family members who love old school R&B, to playing full-on Vietnamese jazz music for our Vietnamese guests. Everyone was on the dance floor! One of the coolest things? My husband and I did a special singing and dancing performance in Vietnamese during the reception, and Kyle offered to get our voices professionally recorded beforehand so we'd sound amazing. That extra touch meant the world to us. Kyle also handled multiple setups for us - both outdoor (cocktail hour and ceremony) and indoor (reception) - without any issues. Big shoutout to Mastermind (assistant DJ) and Jeffah & Jaybeeveents who helped with the CO cannon prep too! If you're looking for a wedding DJ who can truly do it all, Kyle is your guy. We're so grateful he was part of our special day! read more

He not only stays in his DJ booth, he interacts with the audience on the dance floor to keep the party going. Kyle made sure that my requests for my music choices were met, and did not let me down. I chose to play Filipino party songs and Bay Area hip-hop music. He is also flexible and patient and responds at a good rate when messaging him.
