Our non profit after school program hired DJ Johnny to DJ one of our largest events. We put on a…read morekick of rally with Ford Motor Company for almost 300 middle school students and man is it crazy. Not only is planning an event with multiple moving parts stressful but hoping for a DJ that can deal with middle school aged kids was making me sick! DJ Johnny showed up early for set up and while I was putting out fires he set himself up with out asking to many questions, he's self directed and moves fast. He also had kids hanging out around him the whole time and was very patient. He had a play list but also took some of the kids request and interacted well with them. Our organization prides itself in giving kids a sense of belonging, influence and just having fun, DJ Johnny helped us provide that for our kids. I later also booked him for my graduation party. Music is always the center of our family get togethers. We love classic rock, salsa, cumbia, rap, banda, oldies, de todo! DJ Johnny delivered again. During the interview process I quickly realized Norman's intent was to understand the tone we wanted to set for our wedding day, he wanted to know about my fiancé and asked if he could drop off a binder to me to review before I made my decision. Wow! Very impressive binder I must say. To gather songs selections for important moments, record our love story and review the "binder" which had all the information from our venue to questions about each person in our wedding party. Later he would use this to create the most funniest bridal party entrances, not to mention all the proper pronunciations of some hard names. He worked closely with our wedding coordinator on our timeline she shared with him to keep our guests informed and the ceremony/reception running smoothly and on time. He took command of the room, read the crowd for the right music selection, got the party started and ROCKED the house. Leading up to the wedding, Jay was super responsive and would reach out to make everything was good or if we wanted to make any changes before everything's finalized.
