Eric is awesome!! Highly recommend- he was the DJ for our wedding and kept the party going all night. We had a mix of adults and kids of all ages and Eric was able to keep everyone on the dance floor for hours. We appreciate him following up with us on what songs we absolutely wanted to play and what songs we wanted during special moments of the night. Eric is truly a professional! He arrived early and started setting up before we even came. He helped us a lot as well since he's been to the venue before. He was quick to answer questions and replied promptly to our messages. I was worried about how our crowd would respond to Eric since we wanted to play both Vietnamese and English music. Eric did a great job with playing both and making sure everyone had a great time! There were so many things going on that night, but not once did I have to stress about audio set up or music. Super grateful for that! Thank you Eric! read more

We had our wedding on January 6th, 2024 and utilized Eric's DJ and MC services. He was the perfect MC for us because we needed someone who could speak English for the groom's family and Vietnamese for the bride's family. Eric was very easy to work with and was great with communication. He responded very quickly to any questions or concerns that we had! He was very good at sticking with the timeline and adjusting if needed. He knew how to get the crowd more energetic during certain moments throughout the night. Everyone had fun on the dance floor and with the scavenger hunt game that he coordinated. We would absolutely recommend Eric for his DJ/MC services! read more

Eric was our MC & DJ for our wedding night and he did an amazing job. I couldn't have asked for a better MC & DJ. He was such a pleasure to interact with. I had the pleasure of working with Eric for our wedding reception and it was the best experience we had for a DJ/MC service. Everything flow smoothly and the guests had a great time. He's very friendly, quick responses in communication, and easy to work with. He's very honest with his services and advised us to get what we needed and not spend extra. We really appreciate it! I highly recommend hiring Eric for a wedding or any other special events. Thanks again, Eric! read more

My (now) husband and I were in charge of finding an emcee/DJ for our Asian wedding reception (specifically with family and family friends). Half of the guests speak mostly Vietnamese/English while the other half speak mostly Chinese/English. To ensure the best possible experience for everyone, I was adamant about finding an emcee who was trilingual. I went on Yelp and literally typed out "Chinese Vietnamese Emcee" in San Jose, CA and was surprised there was such thing as one! I am so grateful for the helpful reviews about Eric's language skills and that we proceeded to use his services. Eric is incredibly professional, helpful, prompt and thorough. He exemplified these qualities from day 1 of meeting him. On the day of, a lot of things went wrong (naturally), but Eric was there to help push along the timeline and keep us calm and sane. We appreciated Eric's help so much, and highly recommend him for any multi-language wedding needs! read more

Eric did such an amazing job coordinating our wedding reception! He's extremely responsive/efficient and scheduled meetings with us in person and over the phone to work around our busy work schedule. He was very patient and kind to walk us through the whole music and wedding night schedule as a newly engaged couple. He was the primary emcee and had another emcee who spoke Mandarin, and both did such a flawless job! We had so many compliments from our friends and family for how well the night tied in together. Even when there were unexpected addition, Eric was a pro at rolling with the punches and making everything come out smoothly and the schedule was perfectly planned for our videographers and photographers. Lastly, his DJ did a perfect job entertaining guests with great music all night - we danced the unforgettable night away! Will absolutely recommend to all my friends and family. Keep up the great work, Eric!!! read more

Let's start with... YES!!! I would definitely recommend Eric's service to anyone. My wedding was in July 2016. He is super easy to work with. I hired him as my MC, DJ, decoration, and day of coordinator. He is capable of all!! I was amazed! I started asking for his service as a MC and DJ, because he's fluent in chinese and vietnamese. Comparing to all other vendors out there, he is the most responsive, affordable, easy going, and funny! He could even convert the most awkward moment into dust and disappear, by busting out his jokes. Trust me, I have looked all over yelp, there is rarely any out there that's trilingual. And if do find one, they take advantage of their specialty to mark up the quotes! Dont waste your time looking and asking for other quotes! In addition, I also hired him to do my decorations at my house for the chinese traditional tea ceremony in the morning and some for my western ceremony in the afternoon. All of my guests were woohhh and wowwwing of how my decorations came out, endless compliments. He is definitely detail oriented. I am very satisfied of my candy bar :))) read more

Eric is awesome. No problems with communication. He prioritizes you especially when things are getting close to the event date. He is adaptable, flexible with time, very personable, and very professional. I couldn't have asked for a better dj/mc for my event. Exceptional in english, vietnamese, and chinese spoken languages. Everything just ran so smoothly. I didnt have too much of a song selection, but Eric was able to come through with his own selections. Overall, great guy, professional, communicates well, and flexible. 5 stars! read more

Eric was a wonderful MC/DJ for our wedding. A lot friends and family members complimented the music choice during the "dancing" portion of the night. He took requests from the guests and played some vietnamese and cambodian music for our diverse crowd of guests. He improvised on the spot when needed and handled everything beautifully. He spoke vietnamese and english at our wedding and did a great job. We'd hire him again in a heartbeat! read more

My wife and I hired Eric to be our MC/DJ/Karaoke for our wedding back in November of 2021 specifically because he was able to speak cantonese, vietnamese, and english. This was important to us due to the wide range of languages that our extended families spoke. He was great switching between each of the languages during the course of our reception and injected his energy to each target audience! He was great about checking with us every step of the way leading up to the big day and made sure we understood how our reception schedule worked timing wise and even the best way to organize and introduce certain members of our family. He was extremely important in helping us keep on time during the hustle and bustle of the reception and was great at entertaining the crowd and even sang the first karaoke song of the night for us! His playlist followed what we requested to be played very well and definitely had the restaurant dancing! We would highly recommend Eric! read more

eric was just the right emcee we were looking for! he spoke english, cantonese, and vietnamese, which helped us a ton throughout the whole reception. he kept to the timeline we gave him, and even threw in a little twist to liven things up for our shoe game! we were so happy to have him on board, and he was so great to work with. eric worked smoothly with our dj as well to keep the night moving seemlessly. he even helped us choose our parent/child song to dance to! read more

He offers tons of services and all of them is for sure top quality. Super satisfied with him and would refer him to all my friends in the future. read more

We had Eric MC/DJ our wedding on 10/2/16. I had to say that it was a great experience. He listened to and fulfilled all our needs during the planning process. He was also able to provide services (lighting and fog machine) that our decorator could not provide. Lastly, he went out of his way to make sure that the songs were the correct ones. Our 1st dance song had a special duet version and he was able to provide. During the wedding banquet, he was able to keep our guests entertained. It helped that he was bi-lingual (English & Chinese). He was able to stick to our itinerary and even made helpful changes as needed. He catered to all our needs, was super attentive during the banquet, and I highly recommend having him DJ your event. read more

You did an excellent job (MC/DJ) on Our wedding. We received many positive feedbacks from our friends, relatives and families; they love the way you introduced the pride and groom and the songs you chose were also great. Our wedding was great and will always remember your willingness and flexibility to do above and beyond for us to have a perfect wedding. Thank you! read more

I had Eric taken care of my Wedding Audio on Sept 2021. Eric and his team are very creative. I gave him the songs I like and he made them fit best to my weddings. His karaoke service is outstanding. My wedding guests are very satisfied. The restaurant waiters and my photography team said that my wedding party are super fun that they decided to stayed late for having fun with us. read more

We had Eric DJ our wedding. I cannot speak for the karaoke portion of the business, because we did not opt for that. Eric was great! We spoke with him a few weeks in advance, sent him a list of songs we wanted. He added some extra songs in there, and really got people excited with the music, and almost everyone danced! Never could I have imagined that our dance floor would be PACKED (and it wasn't a small dance floor...) Not only that, but I gave him the itinerary and he helped streamline everything along. That's what every bride needs! We had our wedding at a community center, so for dance hour we dimmed the lights and Eric had brought in lighting for the dance floor. My guests were raving about the music and had no complaints! (I missed this part since I was running around doing gosh-knows-what) but I think people were able to text in their song requests to a number and Eric would play it! How cool and high tech!!! It got a lot of our guests to participate and choose songs! One of the other main reasons we booked Eric was because he spoke Cantonese (which my husband's family speaks), Vietnamese (which my family speaks), and English (which everyone else speaks LOL). I didn't realize how important this was until I saw the surprise on my grandparents' face; they actually understood what was going on at a more Westernized Asian wedding! I promise you, it is PRICELESS. And if you're in a similar situation like that, I would book Eric immediately. One thing I would change: It was more our fault, but we had requested a song that was in a movie, and the audio clip that played was actually from the movie. Oops! In that case, I should have sent Eric the song I wanted instead of assume he knew which one I was talking about. 10/10, would hire again and will be recommending him to whoever asks! And he was affordable! :D No joke, I say he was the best deal I got for the quality of work for the entire wedding process. read more

Eric was an amazing MC/DJ. From what I know he speaks at least 4 different languages. I hired him for my wedding and ask that he speak both English and Cantonese. He did an awesome job keeping the crowd engaged and the music selection was on point! He definitely knows what he's doing! read more

This is another very late review, but I want to thank Eric for being an amazing MC and DJ for my wedding in August 2017. I got lots of compliments on the music. He also fit right into my big Asian wedding, and a lot of people thought he was family because he was so well at ease. There was a slight mishap with the audio during the couple video we showed, and a slight sound jump during our first dance, but my husband improvised for the 3 seconds that it lasted. However, the games were executed amazingly and he was a fantastic DJ. He took requests and tore down the house. My guests loved the music and having fun on the dance floor. read more

We were looking for a DJ who had a karaoke system, quality speakers, and fluent in Vietnamese and English. It took us sometimes but we found Eric, met with him, and knew that this is the one. He was nice, mellow, and very easy to work with. He did everything we'd asked. He also did a great jobs being an MC and hosted the party smoothly from beginning to end. read more

Eric was perfect for exactly what we needed at our wedding. He speaks English, Vietnamese and Cantonese. He was very helpful during planning, offering advice and his opinion on things. He also ran our motion graphics on the restaurants LED screens and figured out a way to make it work smoothly. My one little gripe was his DJ set during the dancing portion of of the night, probably the part I was looking forward to the most because I had a long list of songs I wanted him to play. He started off the set with exactly what I told him to use, which was perfect. The rest of his set was not so great. He probably played maybe half or little less than half of the music I had given him. This definitely soured the night a little for me because I was not familiar with a lot of those songs. I didn't feel like being on the dance floor of my own wedding. However, he did end it with what I told him to end it with, that brought me back to the floor. The playlist was specifically made for myself, my friends and my family because I knew they would have a blast hearing it. However, I do recommend Eric. He's kind, professional, and easy to work with. If you have a specific playlist that you are personally giving him, maybe make sure he knows that you do not want him to omit any of your songs? read more

We had Eric as our DJ and MC at our wedding last weekend and chose him because of his bilingual abilities. We were not disappointed! Most of our guests arrived to the reception late and Eric was accommodating by pushing the schedule back for us. Also, my parents are quite demanding and would request certain things from him (like changing the music, adding more names to the announcement, etc.) And Eric always made sure to ask us (bride + groom), before going forth with the changes, which I appreciate very much! Overall, Eric was very adaptable to change and professional in his work! read more

Eric did a great job as MC/DJ and all the decorations for my wedding on May 26, 2018 at Asian Pearl Restaurant in Fremont, CA. He is very quick to response to your texts and emails. His pricing is beyond reasonable compare to other vendors I got quotes. When I walked into the restaurant everything look amazing and I was so happy it came together so much better than I imagine! I would strongly recommend him to decorate your wedding venue and provide the MC/DJ service for your wedding. He also speaks English, Chinese, and Vietnamese which is great because he tailors to both sides of our families and all our friends. He is friendly and easy to work with. I couldn't hope for a better vendor. Thank you for all your help during our wedding Eric! read more

We found Eric for the DJ, MC, and decorations with backdrop and chair covers for this past weekend. It was amazing that not only Eric helped us out a lot in translating between English, Cantonese, and Mandarin fluently! The backdrop with the spot lights looked so beautiful! Eric is very professional that he handled situations well. He emailed us a few times prior to the wedding reception for reassurance and he was very flexible with changes of the program. After the party I realized it's very important to have DJ and MC for a party. I will definitely refer my friends who are getting married to Eric. He is fantastic!!! read more

Eric is a great DJ, MC and Decorator! He was very patient working with the mothers and myself. He guided us through the wedding process and suggested ways to make my vision come alive. He went out of his way before the wedding to meet up with me so that I wouldn't have to stress and drive to him. He really tries to make the wedding planning process go as smoothly as possible. When I entered the restaurant on my wedding day, I was amazed by the decorations. It had the elegant feel I was looking for. What also amazed me was my backdrop. Eric had asked me months back to send him a design for our initial and I didn't give him a design until the night before the wedding day. He somehow managed to get it done and made it so beautiful! My husband and I were so amazed. The pictures came out so beautifully because of it! My friends were eager to ask me WHO decorated my reception and of course I had to share. His MC and DJ skills amazed my Vietnamese parents who were skeptical about the DJ-ing portion. They had a blast with his karaoke as well. My friends were happy that he heard their request and changed the music according to the crowd. Thank you Eric for being patient and professional the whole time! He's very easy to work with and his pricing is great! Most importantly, he made the night fun!! read more

Eric is one amazing MC/DJ. He helped us with our wedding recently and I can't thank him enough! He's professional, friendly, and very helpful. Our wedding was Vietnamese and American wedding so he helped us translate everything in Vietnamese which made my parents extremely happy. He guided us through the whole reception and keeping track of time so we don't have to worry about anything else but have fun! I love that he made sure everyone can request songs that they want to hear during the reception so them too can have fun and not just the couple. Everyone got on the dance floor at the end of the night. All my guests are still talking about how much fun they had at the wedding thanks to Eric. According to most of the Bay Area wedding photographers, there are only two well known and very experienced bilingual Vietnamese and Chinese wedding MC/host. Eric is one of them. My sister who is a seasoned wedding photographer referred us to Eric along with her social network of photographers. We met Eric and to our surprise, he is a one stop shop. He has access to all sorts of decorations, chair covers, backdrops, lighting etc. You name it, he has it. Eric was very nice and professional. Lena, my fiance at the time, thought his Chinese was very good. I, on the other hand spoke somewhat broken Vietnamese so I couldn't really tell if his Vietnamese was proper/polite or not. Who chose to move forward with Eric's services nonetheless. The hardest part of hiring a bilingual MC is knowing the MC's personality on stage. The last thing I would ever want is an MC/host to crack innappropriate jokes to a bunch of conservative Vietnamese and Chinese folks. That would be all bad!!!! Eric was the opposite of that. His politeness and energy made our banquet very enjoyable. He kept the party going and there was never a dull or paused moment. He did a great job! The next day at our family dinner, I asked the question to my parents on how Eric was with hosting the banquet. They said he was great and did a wonderful job. If my parents thing he did a great job, then he gets an A+ in my book. read more
