I call this Twin Liquors location my "Hurricane Store". When we were still feeling the effects of Hurricane Harvey, even this far north, I braved the elements and good ol' Twin Liquors was there to give us the essential supplies needed to weather the storm. They have a great staff and they keep them hired so you'll see a friendly, familiar face no matter how infrequently you go there. The store is compact but the selection is very good for it's size and even with the big selection it doesn't feel crowded. The staff is knowledgeable and always quick to help when asked and even take their time explaining the basics as well as the nuances of wine or liquor. Occasionally, I've found an empty spot on the shelf for my item. But, one quick ask and they'll pull it out of a box for you -- never been out of stock on what I want. Their prices may be a fraction higher than a bigger competitor on a day-to-day basis, but they have very frequent sales that more than make up the difference and they have inventory to cover your needs. Now, even with the Coronavirus, my Hurricane Store still comes through. The store supplied hand sanitizer for customers, the staff wore protective masks (often with Jack Daniels bandanas, how apropos!) and even when demand was high and other stores shelves were bare they kept stocked. Will I call them my "Pandemic Store"? No. They're not a pox in our community, they're a welcome addition. They're the old reliable you can find in the eye of the storm with the 'essential supplies' that help you weather even a pandemic. Cheers! read more

As I drove up to Twin Liquors at 8:58pm CT and got out of my car to approach the entrance, the wonderful human being working at the store looked me in the eye then ran to the front door, locked it before I got to it and turned his back on me, ignoring me completely. I said through the door that I'd driven specifically to there to pick up something only they sell, knew exactly what I wanted and it was still before 9pm CT when they are supposed to close. He answered me by removing the register, turning off the lights and literally scurrying to the back toom. It still wasn't even closing time. This is the kind of person who gives all humans a bad reputation as being selfish greedy little cheaters who care nothing for others and, actually, kind of enjoy screwing over their neighbors. Turning down business when you should be open specifically to get it is, well, bad business too. Whoever was working at 8:58pm CT on Monday September 16th, 2019 is someone who completely lacks integrity and literally, demonstrably and on purpose cost Twin Liquors business. I recommend hiring people with integrity instead - you will literally do more business. I'm living proof. read more

This is my go to liquor store. Close to HEB so it's handy while running errands. They had ghost tequila which is newer and most stores don't carry. Always helpful here and sometimes they even do tastings which is a nice surprise when you're stopping by!! read more

I doubt a bad review on yelp is going to affect Twin Liquors, however for the record and to help them be more aware: I just went in there to buy some wine. This is a somewhat upscale liquor store, not a quickie mart, and they had some nasty hiphop rap type music playing. Also, there are a few signs saying "we support women in wine". We don't need gender politics in a liquor store. Why not we support transgenders in wine, or we support men in wine? Ugh. I left without buying anything. read more

Don't go on Wednesdays that's delivery day and they could care less if you buy anything or not. I left a cart with about $400 worth of liquor because I could get no help from 5 employees in the store. Went to Spec's and was greeted and asked if they could help. When I finally had the help i needed I spent $510. Sorry Twin Boys you need help at that location. read more

Decent local store with a good selection of beer wine and hard liquor. My experience probably would have been better if it weren't for the smart aleck person working there. (Greg). I asked a out a non liquor item as a mixer and went on and on about how they were not a grocery store and if I wanted groceries I needed to go next door. Then he went on saying how they couldn't sell certain items because HEB owned the building. I really didn't care, all that was needed was , sorry sir we don't carry that here, you might try next door. It amazing how's one employee can destroy a buying experience. read more

I love this location. I went for Titos vodka and the manager and sales associates were very kind and helpful. I didn't need any help but they were kind enough to offer. I did read the past reviews about shipping on Wednesday so to avoid that day, which I did. I am not sure why else this location would have so many horrible reviews. But I can't speak for anyone else I just know that I took other helpers advice and avoided going on Wednesday. read more

This was my 3rd time visiting this location. The first time service was quick and friendly. The last two times the staff was very rude. The cashier actually snapped at me in front of another customer. At a time when businesses are struggling to survive bad customer service is the last thing I'll tolerate. They never have my wine in fact they have very little wind. I called to complain to the corporate headquarters and someone said that she would have them deliver a case of my wine that was three months ago and I've never heard anything back. If you like wine save yourself the trouble drive to total Wine and more in Cedar Park it takes less than 30 minutes from Georgetown they have every wine you've ever wanted they have tons of staff walking around to help you find wine That you will like they have curbside delivery they have Online ordering and in-store pick up. Popped into Twin Liquors in Georgetown to purchase Irish Whiskey for my Birthday celebration. Manager Tracey Simmons was super helpful in assisting me in choosing just the right one. A fair sized store for hard liquor. Smaller wine selection than HEB next door. Prices are pretty good, especially if you look for the deals on buying multiple bottles. Unfortunately the staff doesn't seem too knowledgeable and couldn't direct me to any holiday wine, and didn't even know what it was. A couple of shoppers told me to go next door to HEB, who carries a few types. So overall I'd have to say I'll stick with Specs for hard liquor and HEB for wine. But this would be perfectly adequate if you know what you want and if it was convenient for you. read more

I thought TL advertised that they will meet competitor pricing. I took an ad for Spec's from today's Austin American-Statesman online that I printed out, and they would not accept the ad. They said I had to bring in an actual page from the newspaper - I get it online, save paper that doesn't go into the trash/recycle and they wanted me to purchase a $1.50 paper to get a competitive price.
