    Carolers leading Christmas favorites.

Stopped in during the Santa Christmas crawl. We were greeted quickly by the manager and seated. The bar was quite lively and full and holiday ready. The selection of wines here is exceptional and you can sample from two preset options; sparkling and light to bold reds. The charcuterie plate was ample and we thoroughly enjoyed the variety of cheeses and cold cuts. Had a most enjoyable experience.

Must stop for an incredible wine tasting experience ! They have walk-ins and such pleasant people to host you that makes you feel so welcome. Tried the mixed tasting and it did not disappoint. The charcuterie is so huge and tasted really good . Loved their rose wine and Viognier. Such a fun atmosphere and friend people that makes you forget your worries and just have some fun with wine :)

This is a really nice venue on The Square in Georgetown. The by-the-glass prices are high. $14/glass for a light pour of decent wine is a little much. Our bartender was not the friendliest either. My wife really liked their Fredericksburg winery, she went there on a bachelorette party and said it was gorgeous and the wines were good. My Zinfandel was good tonight, and she had the barbera, also good-not-great. They have a nice layout and we would come back. Maybe if we could find a bottle we really like we could do that, the bottles offer a slight discount at $42-$55/bottle. We aren't

Made a reso for their wine tasting and ended up Wine club members! Service was friendly and the wine was good! I really liked their charcuterie board as well. Our fav wine there was the crazy train. If you find yourself in the area def stop by!!

Barons Creek was our first stop on a planned wine tasting adventure around the square. We were greeted by our sommelier Tom, seated, and the tasting process explained. Tom provided a charming mixture of highbrow wine knowledge and light humor as he took us through our tasting journey of 5 red wines. The wife liked all of the wines, and I liked all but one (a tempranillo). Never fear! Tom is here! Tom saved the day (and the Tres Primos reputation) by pouring us an extra taste, but instructing us to first chew a chocolate-covered coffee bean before pouring the wine across that bean in our mouths. This somehow transformed the flavour into something amazingly pleasing for us both! We also ordered chicken empanadas, which were surprisingly delicious! For some reason we did not expect such flavor and complexity from a wine bar's kitchen. The empanada crust was crispy and flaky, with a filling of chopped chicken, onions and seasonings that burst into the mouth with each bite. This was no Tex-Mex kitchen empanada. Hats off Barons! Hats off!

I love this place. Hanne, Brandi, Taylor, and Vanessa are the absolute best!? They work hard to help you have the best experience as possible and you feel like you've know them for years. The ambiance is inviting and the place is clean and nice. Great if you just want to stop by for a quick glass before heading to dinner or if you want to enjoy a charcuterie board after a long day. Great place to be and the staff is friendly and helpful. Look forward to many more visits!

Visiting Georgetown...Was on a search for a search for a romantic day date and ran into this place. I am more than grateful to have walked into this place. Chris was behind the bar and he welcomed us right away! The place provided social distancing and comfortability. Hubby and I just absolutely loved the service and feeling of what a wine tasting is meant to feel. Chris was so wonderful with the wine process. Will be back for sure!

We've been through a handful of wine rooms and wineries around Central Texas this is a nice little quiet spot never really super crowded and delightfully not very loud so we could carry on a conversation the wine selection here is great but be prepared to spend a little bit more than you normally would we spent $28 for a bottle of Muscato which is pretty reasonable, But the people here we're super friendly and the service was great so for that price I must say I could do that again

    Ambiance was amazing

I'm so glad we chose Barons Creek over all the competition on the area. Anthony truly rolled out the red carpet and made our experience rememberal . Seven of us had the pleasure of tasting six different house made wines and delicious appetizers.

The first time was a wine flight we had catered at our apartment, while the second time, we visited in person with a group of friends. Honestly, the wines we buy from Costco taste better. We did the $20 wine tasting flight where you get to choose 3 from the menu. The pros are that it's cheap and they give generous pours, but the con is that the wines don't taste good. Thank goodness I shared with my husband because I wouldn't have been able to finish it myself. 1. Picpoul Blanc: One Elm Vineyards - High Plains white wine with notes of lemongrass, pink lemonade, and raspberry. It was okay. 2. Aqua Pazza - High Plains/High Country orange wine with notes of apricot, candied lemon, and orange zest. It tasted like a bitter citrus wine and was our least favorite of the wines we tried. 3. GSM: Salt Lick Vineyards - Hill Country chilled red wine with notes of mint berry crunch and herbal. I think we prefer non-chilled red wine, since the tannins were super muted, but the cold temperature does make it more enjoyable on a hot day. Lavender Haze ($15): This is a wine cocktail made with Ocho, lemon, lavender simple syrup, topped with Rambler, and garnished with a lemon wheel. Ocho is a Salt Lick Vineyards - Hill Country white wine with soft lychee, beeswax, and freshly minted bills. It's a light and bright wine cocktail that's great for an afternoon drink. Bread With Oil & Balsamic Reduction ($6): You definitely need to dip the bread in the balsamic reduction; otherwise, the bread is just so bland by itself. Recommend getting the shareables instead, since the bread doesn't really add anything to the wine tasting. Our friends got the charcuterie, and the meat, cheese, and fig really helped us get through the wine flight.

The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, the wine selection is thoughtfully put together, and the staff? Absolutely top-notch. Hannah made the entire experience unforgettable. She's incredibly knowledgeable, so kind, and brings such a joyful energy that it instantly puts you at ease. Her passion for wine (and cheese!) is so genuine, and she made the tasting both fun and educational--without ever feeling stuffy or scripted. Every wine and cheese pairing came with a little story or insight, and it completely changed how we experienced each sip. We've done wine tastings before, but this one felt totally different--in the best way. It was personal, engaging, and you could really feel the love behind every detail. We made the trip up from Austin and honestly? We're already planning our next visit. This time, we're bringing more friends so they can see what all the hype is about. Service - we have been here about 4-5 times, but service has never been too great or too friendly. The bar on the beer side is always pleasant but the tasting bar side always has a bit of a tiny rude vibe - and I don't mention it ever but I'm in the wine industry and we don't see this normally. Also tonight we were asked to move to a different table as they didn't prepare for a Harry Potter event ahead of time just as we settled in after a rough day (and our young pup finally chilled out). It felt we were being pushed out and the other table was by the window/door that was glass so I was cold. My senior mom was cold after we had found a great spot that was warm for her. Live music tonight was also quite off - I wouldn't suggest this place anymore. I'm not sure if in the last year it has gone down hill but it's no longer worth the drive for a mediocre experience. They gave many potential beautiful spaces but they don't utilize them, nor update them, so the vibe is just outdated. No music on the speakers can be heard when there isn't live music. So sorry to not write the best review here but it's honest.
