Typical outlet mall with the stores you would expect. Large parking garage as well as a few small parking lots.

We usually go to the Albertville Outlets but decided to give the Eagan Twin Cities Premium Outlet a try. It was a Saturday and we thought parking would be difficult but with people coming and going it was not terrible at all. I guess I thought it was bigger since Albertville has two areas. It's easily walkable. We stopped by Adidas, Crocs, Under Armor, Claire's, Guess and Shantie's Plaza. All store were clean and most organized well. It was busy when we went into the Adidas and Under Armor and things were definitely out of there place. The Crocs store had holiday shoes which I've never seen before and really cute! And Claire's, a dream store for many little girls - spent way too much in. The Shantie's Plaza had beautiful Desi clothes for men and women that I'll be back to purchase at some point. They have a couple of places to eat although we didn't try any out. There was a Boba place next to Claire's that we may check out next time we go.

When I lived in Rochester, the closest outlet mall was in Medford, which was west of Rochester and would take roughly 45 minutes. I passed by it recently. I am glad it is still alive and kicking. In the Twin Cities back then, the lone outlet mall was in Albertville, which is northwest of Minneapolis. I'd pass by it often en route to Fargo, Grand Forks, and ultimately, Winnipeg. Recently, I learned that there's a new outlet in the Twin Cities. Well, it's new to me! It's located in Eagan, just south of Mall of America. On New Year's Day, I decided to drop by. It looks new. I was looking for the closest parking spot to the Gap Factory Store. To my surprise, I found covered parking. It's Minnesota and it snows. It was perfect. I parked and walked across the street to start shopping. Like most premium outlets, this one has partly covered areas. You are still somewhat outdoors, braving the elements if you are not physically in a store. The variety of stores was nice. Let's start with food. From jerky to Auntie Anne's, you can get your snacking game on. There are also vending machines by the washrooms where you can get cookies, candy bars, and more. There's also Market Hall, which is the food court with six different fast food eateries. I spent probably a good four hours here. I walked the whole place. If I walk an entire outlet mall, it's a sign that I like being there. Normally, I will pick and choose the stores that I want to go into, and I will call it good. It wasn't the case here. I first hit the Gap store. The deals were amazing. I then visited Converse and got a great pair of suede sneakers for under $20. I saved quite a bit at both stores. I realized at 3 pm that I hadn't had lunch. I grabbed some mini pretzel dogs from Auntie Anne's, along with a Diet Pepsi, which satisfied my hunger pangs. I also happen to love anything from Auntie Anne's. I enjoyed stopping by Fossil, Hot Topic, Hanes, and more. Staff at all stores were nice and friendly. Washrooms are clean. Signs are clearly posted. I like that there are indoor pathways between the food court and the washrooms, so you don't have to freeze to death to get from one place to the other when it's winter. It's a nice outlet mall. It's likely one of the nicer ones that I have been to over the years. I had a positive first experience. I look forward to exercising my wallet here again soon. (21)

If there are two premium outlets that are boon to the Twin Cities, it's the one in Albertville and then this at Eagan. The outlet looks like the Universal Studios from outside with beautiful looking buildings peaking here and there. There are several premium stores in this location starting from Adidas, Under Armor, Calvin Klein, Basics and a lot more. A lot of stores offers some great membership deals and make sure you sign up after checking at the store. Some shops though they are at the outlet would still burn your pockets a bit. We are regulars to the Lindt chocolates shop that's a heaven to the chocolate lovers. They have heaps of toffees piled up in the middle of the store on different flavors and they always greet you with one of those as free samples as you enter. Make sure you buy the 100 pieces pack which you can handpick. You get $5 discount when you accumulate 100 points. This outlet has a neat layout and directories with maps erected at each juncture to help customers locate the shops and traverse through seamlessly.

Lots of stores, competitive pricing, and convenient. Only draw back for me is it will be cold going from store to store in the winter.

It was such an incredible experience it really makes you feel like you're flying, and the visuals are so realistic. Definitely a must-do if you visit! I also loved all the food options. There are so many places to choose from, and everything I had was delicious. It's nice being able to take a break from walking around and enjoy a good meal without even leaving the mall.Another favorite was the axe throwing it was SO fun and something different from the usual mall activities. It added a really exciting, adventurous vibe to the day and made the whole experience even more memorable. The atmosphere throughout the mall is lively, clean, and full of energy. There's something for everyone shopping, entertainment, food, and unique attractions all in one place. It's perfect for a fun day out with friends or family.I would 100% recommend visiting, and I can't wait to go back and try even more things next time!

The cool thing about this is that you can catch the train right into the place just about. I had a 9:30 flight that was arriving in to Minneapolis and of course I couldn't check into my hotel. I bought an all day train pass and made my way. The coolest thing is that there are lockers of various sizes so you can store your luggage (for a nominal fee) and wander around this massive mall, got to about 1/3rd of it. I was taken back to the the 90's with the old school music playing and some of the stores that I thought didn't exist anymore. There were at least two of the same store but just on different levels or sides of the part of the mall I was in. The amusement park in the mall with the rollercoaster and kiddie rides and roaming characters was awesome. I went back the aquarium, which I would have gone into but it was filled with kids, and honestly it was too early :) Had a great meal at the crepe restaurant. If I was a senior retired, its a great nifty 50s walking spot or just getting out people watch. I would definitely try to go back to see the other parts and to stay the hell out of the cold weather this California gal is not used too.

If you're down to scrounge, this place might be for you (I'd just urge you to wash your hands after). That said, I specifically went here today because I needed a stapler. Mine went missing when I moved (probably in some box I've yet to unpack in my storage unit), and there's zero need to purchase a brand new stapler when I know I can get an old reliable Swingline from a thrift place like this (plus, I remembered on my first amble through here that they had a whole basket of staplers). Sure enough, I was able to acquire a stapler. But you can bet your ass that I brought along some staples to test out said staplers... the first one I picked up had a busted spring, but the second was fully functional. Both had been priced at $3. I mention this simply as a word of warning to consider testing before you buy.) I also picked up a bobbin thread case and a quart sized bag of crayons (both priced at $3) while I was there. This place is good for finding the kind of craft stuff your granny would keep around at a low price. And honestly, you're doing the environment a BIG favor to snag this kind of thing off a thrift store shelf rather than "convenience buy" it off Amazon or whatever. You can save money and feel good about yourself. The rest of the store has stuff like glassware, clothing, kids stuff, and holiday decor. It's not all amazing stuff. I reckon a lot of folks donate stuff they don't care to sort through when an elderly parent finally kicks it. The employee behind the checkout counter was a little slow to bother acknowledging me, but once we were interacting, they were friendly enough and wished me a good day; seemed like they were happy I actually bought something instead of just browsing.

I am a mall Enthusiast whether it's dead or alive but this place has definitely fallen on Hard Times. This mall is at least 15% occupied with stores, shops and food places. Apparently it wasn't like this before covid. This place is a great mall walkers paradise since it has three floors and plenty of stairs to check out. The restrooms are in great condition most of the small is in great conditions though it's showing signs of decay. Ridiculous be playing music but since there isn't any music it just feels eerie and out of place. They do have a lot of things potentially coming to this mall to try to revitalize it. I am hopeful and especially since that this mall is not owned by the Namdar company that maybe that there's hope for the mall. Businesses outside of the mall are busy with people but not the mall. The mall I would say is really warm in some areas. Only the future can tell for Burnsville Center.
