However; I also love coming randomly throughout the year to get updated clothing items. I typically like to check out under Armour and Nike, the Columbia store also has a separate outlet location as well. Recently, I feel like prices haven't been nearly as good as they used to, but in this economy, who can blame them. I would love to see a little bit more variation in the food court, it's mostly Asian cuisines and Cinnabon. All delicious but would love to see some more options. There's a ton of parking, but if you come on a busy weekend, you may not notice and still have to park far away. Bummed to see some recent retailers, leaving, they've been replaced with stores that my opinion were is great. Overall, a decent shopping trip, it's also in a great location. There's plenty of other stores/eating nearby. I recommend checking out the Twin Cities premium outlets if you haven't been there before.

I like this plaza a lot. It has a standalone Starbucks with a drive-thru. Staff are always friendly and I enjoy coming here. Yes, it satisfies the tea addiction that I have. Recently, I spent more time figuring out what businesses are here. It has a Bank of America with a drive-thru. It is perfect for me to withdraw US funds, as I have a Tangerine account and I don't incur any charges when I do. My greatest find was Hawaii Poke Bowl. It has dole whip, which I absolutely love. I also had the rainbow poke bowl, which was amazing. It is rare to find an eatery with a perfect Yelp five-star rating where more than 60 Yelpers have reviewed it. Hy-Vee is the grocery store that anchors this plaza. Although I have yet to set foot in this store, Hy-Vee was my go-to grocery store when I lived in Rochester. I dropped by Marshalls and HomeGoods. It's a combo store. They look new and have everything from clothes to floor lamps. I love staying in Eagan. The shopping is great and this plaza is no exception. Mine went missing when I moved (probably in some box I've yet to unpack in my storage unit), and there's zero need to purchase a brand new stapler when I know I can get an old reliable Swingline from a thrift place like this (plus, I remembered on my first amble through here that they had a whole basket of staplers). Sure enough, I was able to acquire a stapler. But you can bet your ass that I brought along some staples to test out said staplers... the first one I picked up had a busted spring, but the second was fully functional. Both had been priced at $3. I mention this simply as a word of warning to consider testing before you buy.) I also picked up a bobbin thread case and a quart sized bag of crayons (both priced at $3) while I was there. This place is good for finding the kind of craft stuff your granny would keep around at a low price. And honestly, you're doing the environment a BIG favor to snag this kind of thing off a thrift store shelf rather than "convenience buy" it off Amazon or whatever. You can save money and feel good about yourself. The rest of the store has stuff like glassware, clothing, kids stuff, and holiday decor. It's not all amazing stuff. I reckon a lot of folks donate stuff they don't care to sort through when an elderly parent finally kicks it. The employee behind the checkout counter was a little slow to bother acknowledging me, but once we were interacting, they were friendly enough and wished me a good day; seemed like they were happy I actually bought something instead of just browsing.

The line wasn't that long when we went and the hallways were well lit and there wasn't too much crowding. We didn't even make it to two of the floors but man they have everything you could want. My first question to my friend was, "Is there anything that MOA doesn't have?!" The answer was I'm not sure but let's check it out! The food court was pretty well lit and stocked. They had real plants and I was shocked how well maintained everything was. The layout of the building is strategically laid out for a seamless shopping experience. I was incredibly impressed. The only store that you may need to plan for was the Lego store which only let in a certain number of people. I'm definitely glad I was able to try this while I was visiting!

Owned by the same company who owns West Edmonton Mall in Canada, and American Dream in East Rutherford, New Jersey, Mall of America boasts over 520 retail outlets and at least four central food courts. Many retail stores are well-known yet some are unique or rarely seen in malls. The real allure of the mall is for the kids, and it features a massive indoor theme park, Nickelodeon Universe, and an aquarium called Sea Life. Sea Life is hands-on, featuring animals one can touch or hold. The theme park is home to the world's only indoor hi-speed roller coaster. The coasters are not tame either, they are just as raucous as you would expect in an outdoor park. One can walk through the park without buying admission, as each ride requires its own ticket, though the mall itself is admission free. The Mall has early opening hours and late closing so one can "walk the mall" if so desired, before the stores open and after many close. The mall itself is a maze but there are landmarks to help guide you. A full-size movie theater is featured on the fourth floor and as a plus, Minnesota has no state sales tax on clothes or shoes which makes shopping a bit easier. Overall, I rate the Mall of America an 8.5/10.0 on attractions.

At Costco, I prefer the prepared foods and their milk jugs more than Sam's. But I like Sam's baked goods and rotisserie chicken more than Costco. Both Sam's and Costco have tires, pharmacy, cafe, and optical; they are very similar. Like all warehouse bulk places, prices are usually lower but selection is hit or miss.
