However; I also love coming randomly throughout the year to get updated clothing items. I typically like to check out under Armour and Nike, the Columbia store also has a separate outlet location as well. Recently, I feel like prices haven't been nearly as good as they used to, but in this economy, who can blame them. I would love to see a little bit more variation in the food court, it's mostly Asian cuisines and Cinnabon. All delicious but would love to see some more options. There's a ton of parking, but if you come on a busy weekend, you may not notice and still have to park far away. Bummed to see some recent retailers, leaving, they've been replaced with stores that my opinion were is great. Overall, a decent shopping trip, it's also in a great location. There's plenty of other stores/eating nearby. I recommend checking out the Twin Cities premium outlets if you haven't been there before.

I only saw a fraction of the box stores and food joints here. I enjoyed being here that I returned to the former store a day later. Barnes & Noble is one of the better ones that I have been to. There were lots of items on sale. While browsing, I got a free drink sample from the cafe. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Pier 1 is still there. Sadly, it will be closed soon. There is liquidation sale happening as I write this review. I also enjoyed visiting TJ Maxx. It has the largest selection of Kipling bags that I have ever seen. Prices are good on quality items. Lunds & Byerlys is the supermarket that anchors this plaza. It is huge! I will need to check it out down the road. There are eateries, too. Wild Buffalo Wings, Panda Express, and Panera Bread are some of the names that I saw while I was here. I have been told that Eagan Promenade had a water fountain in the summertime. I'd have to return when it's warmer to admire it. There is plenty of parking. I will definitely come back and check out more of it. (107)

Mine went missing when I moved (probably in some box I've yet to unpack in my storage unit), and there's zero need to purchase a brand new stapler when I know I can get an old reliable Swingline from a thrift place like this (plus, I remembered on my first amble through here that they had a whole basket of staplers). Sure enough, I was able to acquire a stapler. But you can bet your ass that I brought along some staples to test out said staplers... the first one I picked up had a busted spring, but the second was fully functional. Both had been priced at $3. I mention this simply as a word of warning to consider testing before you buy.) I also picked up a bobbin thread case and a quart sized bag of crayons (both priced at $3) while I was there. This place is good for finding the kind of craft stuff your granny would keep around at a low price. And honestly, you're doing the environment a BIG favor to snag this kind of thing off a thrift store shelf rather than "convenience buy" it off Amazon or whatever. You can save money and feel good about yourself. The rest of the store has stuff like glassware, clothing, kids stuff, and holiday decor. It's not all amazing stuff. I reckon a lot of folks donate stuff they don't care to sort through when an elderly parent finally kicks it. The employee behind the checkout counter was a little slow to bother acknowledging me, but once we were interacting, they were friendly enough and wished me a good day; seemed like they were happy I actually bought something instead of just browsing.

The line wasn't that long when we went and the hallways were well lit and there wasn't too much crowding. We didn't even make it to two of the floors but man they have everything you could want. My first question to my friend was, "Is there anything that MOA doesn't have?!" The answer was I'm not sure but let's check it out! The food court was pretty well lit and stocked. They had real plants and I was shocked how well maintained everything was. The layout of the building is strategically laid out for a seamless shopping experience. I was incredibly impressed. The only store that you may need to plan for was the Lego store which only let in a certain number of people. I'm definitely glad I was able to try this while I was visiting!

Owned by the same company who owns West Edmonton Mall in Canada, and American Dream in East Rutherford, New Jersey, Mall of America boasts over 520 retail outlets and at least four central food courts. Many retail stores are well-known yet some are unique or rarely seen in malls. The real allure of the mall is for the kids, and it features a massive indoor theme park, Nickelodeon Universe, and an aquarium called Sea Life. Sea Life is hands-on, featuring animals one can touch or hold. The theme park is home to the world's only indoor hi-speed roller coaster. The coasters are not tame either, they are just as raucous as you would expect in an outdoor park. One can walk through the park without buying admission, as each ride requires its own ticket, though the mall itself is admission free. The Mall has early opening hours and late closing so one can "walk the mall" if so desired, before the stores open and after many close. The mall itself is a maze but there are landmarks to help guide you. A full-size movie theater is featured on the fourth floor and as a plus, Minnesota has no state sales tax on clothes or shoes which makes shopping a bit easier. Overall, I rate the Mall of America an 8.5/10.0 on attractions.

I was immediately greeted by a woman who asked if I was looking for something specific. I wasn't. She didn't tell me that everything in the store was 30% off until I was at the back of it. Weird. You'd think that after hearing my response that she'd rattle off promotions. Not here. This store has Squishmallows. They are the larger ones, which was nice to see. I saw a cute koala with a purple bow. It was a sight for sore eyes. I also enjoyed looking at a bunch of non-Squishmallows plushies. What shocked me was seeing the Hello Kitty-Pusheen collaboration in full force at this store. From water bottles to bath balms, it was cool to see all this merchandise. Heavily discounted items are at the back of the store. I managed to get a mini wallet (getting into a major venue for concerts or sporting events require that you carry a wallet that fits in your pocket) and a keychain. I had the same woman help me out at the checkout. I signed up for Claire's rewards. It will likely take me a long time to get anything out of it because I'm not a regular customer, but I can always chip away at it. My items were indeed reduced by 30%. I paid with my credit card. I used to shop at Old Navy when I was much larger and couldn't fit into any Gap clothing. Old Navy had larger sizes that weren't ugly and I appreciated all of it. What was nice to see was a gender-neutral section of clothing. I like how accommodating and sensitive Old Navy has become in this area. I loved looking at the graphic and tie-dyed t-shirts. They say that the latter trend is going away. I hope not. There were a lot of marked-down items. I didn't need to get any clothing, so I ended up browsing around the store. The lounge pants felt so soft and comfortable. I had to tear myself away from this section because my petting them probably looked obscene. I enjoyed checkout out what Old Navy has to offer. I'd return to check this store out again when I need to get an article of clothing or more. (8)
