However; I also love coming randomly throughout the year to get updated clothing items. I typically like to check out under Armour and Nike, the Columbia store also has a separate outlet location as well. Recently, I feel like prices haven't been nearly as good as they used to, but in this economy, who can blame them. I would love to see a little bit more variation in the food court, it's mostly Asian cuisines and Cinnabon. All delicious but would love to see some more options. There's a ton of parking, but if you come on a busy weekend, you may not notice and still have to park far away. Bummed to see some recent retailers, leaving, they've been replaced with stores that my opinion were is great. Overall, a decent shopping trip, it's also in a great location. There's plenty of other stores/eating nearby. I recommend checking out the Twin Cities premium outlets if you haven't been there before.

It's nearly identical to the Aurora Outlet mall back home in Illinois so navigating this building felt like I was back home. There weren't any outdoor vendors, maybe they'll be there in the summer. I only saw a fraction of the box stores and food joints here. I enjoyed being here that I returned to the former store a day later. Barnes & Noble is one of the better ones that I have been to. There were lots of items on sale. While browsing, I got a free drink sample from the cafe. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Pier 1 is still there. Sadly, it will be closed soon. There is liquidation sale happening as I write this review. I also enjoyed visiting TJ Maxx. It has the largest selection of Kipling bags that I have ever seen. Prices are good on quality items. Lunds & Byerlys is the supermarket that anchors this plaza. It is huge! I will need to check it out down the road. There are eateries, too. Wild Buffalo Wings, Panda Express, and Panera Bread are some of the names that I saw while I was here. I have been told that Eagan Promenade had a water fountain in the summertime. I'd have to return when it's warmer to admire it. There is plenty of parking. I will definitely come back and check out more of it. (107)

Mine went missing when I moved (probably in some box I've yet to unpack in my storage unit), and there's zero need to purchase a brand new stapler when I know I can get an old reliable Swingline from a thrift place like this (plus, I remembered on my first amble through here that they had a whole basket of staplers). Sure enough, I was able to acquire a stapler. But you can bet your ass that I brought along some staples to test out said staplers... the first one I picked up had a busted spring, but the second was fully functional. Both had been priced at $3. I mention this simply as a word of warning to consider testing before you buy.) I also picked up a bobbin thread case and a quart sized bag of crayons (both priced at $3) while I was there. This place is good for finding the kind of craft stuff your granny would keep around at a low price. And honestly, you're doing the environment a BIG favor to snag this kind of thing off a thrift store shelf rather than "convenience buy" it off Amazon or whatever. You can save money and feel good about yourself. The rest of the store has stuff like glassware, clothing, kids stuff, and holiday decor. It's not all amazing stuff. I reckon a lot of folks donate stuff they don't care to sort through when an elderly parent finally kicks it. The employee behind the checkout counter was a little slow to bother acknowledging me, but once we were interacting, they were friendly enough and wished me a good day; seemed like they were happy I actually bought something instead of just browsing.

The cool thing about this is that you can catch the train right into the place just about. I had a 9:30 flight that was arriving in to Minneapolis and of course I couldn't check into my hotel. I bought an all day train pass and made my way. The coolest thing is that there are lockers of various sizes so you can store your luggage (for a nominal fee) and wander around this massive mall, got to about 1/3rd of it. I was taken back to the the 90's with the old school music playing and some of the stores that I thought didn't exist anymore. There were at least two of the same store but just on different levels or sides of the part of the mall I was in. The amusement park in the mall with the rollercoaster and kiddie rides and roaming characters was awesome. I went back the aquarium, which I would have gone into but it was filled with kids, and honestly it was too early :) Had a great meal at the crepe restaurant. If I was a senior retired, its a great nifty 50s walking spot or just getting out people watch. I would definitely try to go back to see the other parts and to stay the hell out of the cold weather this California gal is not used too.

I was immediately greeted by a woman who asked if I was looking for something specific. I wasn't. She didn't tell me that everything in the store was 30% off until I was at the back of it. Weird. You'd think that after hearing my response that she'd rattle off promotions. Not here. This store has Squishmallows. They are the larger ones, which was nice to see. I saw a cute koala with a purple bow. It was a sight for sore eyes. I also enjoyed looking at a bunch of non-Squishmallows plushies. What shocked me was seeing the Hello Kitty-Pusheen collaboration in full force at this store. From water bottles to bath balms, it was cool to see all this merchandise. Heavily discounted items are at the back of the store. I managed to get a mini wallet (getting into a major venue for concerts or sporting events require that you carry a wallet that fits in your pocket) and a keychain. I had the same woman help me out at the checkout. I signed up for Claire's rewards. It will likely take me a long time to get anything out of it because I'm not a regular customer, but I can always chip away at it. My items were indeed reduced by 30%. I paid with my credit card. All went well. I thanked her and left with my purchases. This store is cool to get earrings, plushies, and more. When I'm back at this outlet, I'd drop by and check this store out again. (437)

I used to shop at Old Navy when I was much larger and couldn't fit into any Gap clothing. Old Navy had larger sizes that weren't ugly and I appreciated all of it. What was nice to see was a gender-neutral section of clothing. I like how accommodating and sensitive Old Navy has become in this area. I loved looking at the graphic and tie-dyed t-shirts. They say that the latter trend is going away. I hope not. There were a lot of marked-down items. I didn't need to get any clothing, so I ended up browsing around the store. The lounge pants felt so soft and comfortable. I had to tear myself away from this section because my petting them probably looked obscene. I enjoyed checkout out what Old Navy has to offer. I'd return to check this store out again when I need to get an article of clothing or more. (8)
