Such a fun place to dine and seek out fun activities. The mall is clean and very spacious with lots of seating. The mall can be accessed from the outside of from the inside of Northtown mall. There is still some construction taking place and more businesses coming inside the Asian mall. Lots of options! A fun arcade is being built and an indoor play space for kids.

Mall overall is pretty clean and it brought some life back to Northtown mall that let's be honest was kind of dying slowly. It definitely reminds me of similar places I've been to in Texas where thankfully I'm moving to in less than a year. Woot The beauty store is nice and my wife loves it and says they have better prices vs the other store she frequented and the staff is lovely and helpful had a lovely conversation with the girl at the counter. The grocery store was ok it's no Dragon star and prices are a bit high. It's alright though The food court I'll separate from the hot pot which is awesome. The Korean fried chicken: 1 star it was nasty like I would rather have chicken nuggets from McDonalds. The ramen spot: was ok lacking meat but was pretty solid im yet to try the pick your own packet place yet but overall food court food is a 2 to 3. 85 degrees bakery: solid and cheaper than other places I've been, selection a bit redundant but with the cost saving it's good. 4stars. Hot pot upstairs: amazing from the server who knew an Eau Claire hot pot spot I love to the food. They sent stuff to the wrong table a couple times but overall it was amazing the buffet is small but with the sauces and drinks amazing. 5 stars

We made a trip to Asia Village in Blaine, but it didn't quite live up to the hype for us. The mall itself is spacious, but there are still quite a few empty vendor spaces upstairs. The grocery store has a good selection of Asian snacks and specialty items, but we were most excited to check out the food court. We ordered the Shoyu Ramen from Hokkaido Ramen House, but it was pretty basic and lacked the depth of flavor we were hoping for. It reminded us more of an upgraded instant ramen than an authentic bowl of ramen. We also tried the Karaage from Chingu Korean Fried Chicken, which unfortunately was super dry and under seasoned. Our favorite stop was 85°C Bakery Cafe. The pastries were fresh and affordable. We will definitely come back for the bakery and would also like to give Pho Mai Express a try on a future visit. Overall, we left feeling a bit underwhelmed and personally there are better options for Asian cuisine elsewhere.

I like how spacious it feels and that it has ample seating. The bathroom in the grocery store was clean too. Decent options for a more elevated food court experience but at the end of the day food court food won't be as great as at a restaurant. Lots of parking but that parking lot needs a lot of love cause those potholes are awful.

This place is huge and has around 10 restaurants, including Chinese noodles, Korean ramen, Korean cuisine, Korean fried chicken, Korean BBQ & hot pot, Vietnamese food, a boba shop, and a bakery. Everything is self-service. After placing your order, you'll pick up your own food and return your tray to the designated return area when you're finished. The central dining area is spacious, making it a great place for groups since everyone can order from different restaurants and still eat together. It feels very much like an Asian food hall, offering plenty of variety and flexibility. My family loved both the food and the pastries there. They also have a decent-sized indoor play area for kids upstairs, along with a beauty supply store. It also looks like an arcade is coming soon. There's also a Mingdu Supermarket, the same one that's located in the Asian mall.

This place is great. I like it better than the Asia mall in Eden Prairie. Better parking, more food options and the grocery store has harder to find products. There is a kids area and an arcade coming that will draw more families and young adults. All the food options looked and smelled great. Can't wait to go back and review them all. We did get a few items from 85 degrees that were all delicious but the real surprise was the onezo boba place. Watch them make the boba fresh. You can really taste the difference. The texture was just perfect.

Came here after work on a weekday, after the soft opening. Parking lot looked busy (haven't seen so many cars here even when it was a store) but didn't feel super packed inside. I came here for the 85 Celsius bakery. They were pretty picked over by 3pm, but I was still able to find some things to buy. Many places open for businesses with food that looks amazing. Will have to come back to try then all. So excited for this place to succeed. It looks clean and modern. I hope it stays that way and draws more businesses to revitalize the area.

Asia Village in Blaine has finally opened for business! This place is connected to the Northtown Mall and features a large Asian grocery and an assortment of Asian shops and restaurants. The main area is laid out similar to a mall food court, but you won't find generic chain food here (there's no Panda Express). It's more like a food hall featuring spots such as ramen, pho, an Asian cafe/bakery, and a lot more. It has the first OneZo boba in Minnesota, a Taiwanese company that's known for making all their boba from scratch every day. I had their Taro Coconut milk tea with Ube boba and it was one of the best bubble tea's I've ever had. It also has an ODAY Creamery, a local company doing Asian-inspired ice cream. The other side of the building is a large supermarket of foods and sauces imported from Asia. The focus was definitely on items from Japan, China, Taiwan, Thailand, and Korea. I was able to pick up bags of Japanese kit kats and Chinese oreos along with items like authentic soy sauce that was made in Japan. This is a great addition to the area for anybody looking to pick up specialty ingredients. Overall it's pretty much everything I'd hoped it would be when I'd heard they were building it last year, and I'm sure I'll be back many times now that it's open for business.

We came during opening weekend, so it was pretty busy and had a great atmosphere! I am absolutely thrilled that this has opened up on this side of town. The Asia Mall in Eden Prairie is super far for us, so having this over in the Blaine neighborhood on the north side of the Twin Cities is amazing. We shopped around the market and everything is very reasonably priced, especially the fresh food. We also tried the bakery, got some bubble tea and just had a blast walking around :) The entire space is so bright, open, and beautiful! We can't wait to come back again soon!

Asia Village was such a fun place to explore on a random Saturday! The food and drink options were so cool. We loved the peach boba at OneZo and were completely obsessed with the Vietnamese coffee at 85°C Bakery Cafe. Plus the mochi donuts were delicious! We also had fun browsing the shops and ended up going home with some beauty products and dumplings. There was so much to look at and try, and we would definitely come back!

I'm in LOVE with this new food court!! The options are amazing and the few that I've tried were so delicious. The venue is beautifully decorated with plenty of seating available. I just wish the location was a bit more convenient for me.

So glad we were able to finally visit Asian Village in the Northtown Mall! This place was huge! Plenty of seating and multiple restaurants to choose from! All the restaurants on the bottom floor are fast casual, no need for wait staff. We went with ramen and rice bowls today. The ramen was super tasty, well done for sure. The pork belly rice bowl was good, but could have used more flavor and heat. The cake roll and coffee from 85°C was the best thing we had today, super delicious! There's also a huge Asian grocery store in the mall, with an abundance of unique Asian foods and desserts. We will definitely be going back here to try one of the many places to eat!

About as "meh" as it gets. Five of us all had different food from various vendors. All were mediocre.

My favourite TJ Maxx store is in St. Louis Park. I now have this one to add to my list. First, this store had four Kipling bags. It's a win these days if you can find one. The handbag and luggage section is amazing. I ended up with Mickey and Minnie luggage tags. You can never have enough tags when you travel often. I've been into frothers lately. They are great at home and on the road when you are mixing powdered drinks. I found one that charges with a USB cable. It also has both frother and whisk attachments, which are cool. I spent a lot of time in the kitchen accessories section. You can get everything from a mini hand chopper to an assortment of reusable straws. I got a mini ice cubes tray. Making mini ice cubes seemed like fun. It is! If you love Hello Kitty merchandise, this store is for you. It had Hello Kitty-branded hairbrushes, makeup mirrors, cosmetic bags, luggage tags, and more. I like looking at lip balms and glosses. This store had so many. Oreo. Jello. Hershey's. Fruity Pebbles. EOS. Burt's Bees. The assortment was incredible. I briefly looked at the clothing sections. If you are looking for affordable clothing to support your favourite Minnesota sports team, shop here. I saw hoodies, t-shirts, and more. The phone accessories section makes me happy. It's typically by the checkout area at any TJ Maxx. This store didn't disappoint. There wasn't a huge lineup to pay for my items. The woman that I got at the checkout was competent and nice. I paid with a credit card. I tapped my card and all was great. She placed my items in a plastic bag. I thanked her and happily left the store. There was plenty of parking in front of this store on a Friday evening. It's a great store. I'll be back. (419)

Only down side is they open earlier and therefore close earlier than other TJ Maxx stores. I'm guessing it's due to the theft/crime the area has been experiencing. Very sad. Regardless, I hope this store stays open and doesn't close like many others have in the area. It's really a well-managed store!

Was waiting for a shop around the corner to open and had twenty minutes to kill. Spotted this place…read morebecause of the bright neon outside the entrance, luring you in. I've got antique store in my blood (legitimately, not a turn of phrase: my paternal grandma used to own one), so I'm drawn to this kind of place, especially as thrifting/buying used is more environmentally-friendly (and we as a society desperately need to shift gears away from fast fashion). Immediately upon entry I glimpsed the signs that this place was inclusive of me and those like me. The pride flag, the genderless toilets marked humorously with "whatever" signs. I was drawn in. You can tell that a lot of the consignment owners put a good deal of effort into making each of their "cubicles" stand out and have individuality that matches their brand. Seeing as I was here at the tail end of September, that meant many of the booths were spooky-themed and/or had Halloween items for sale. Dangerous for anyone who's a fan of the holiday. I definitely plan to come back AFTER Halloween and see what Christmas decorations take their place! It'll probably feel like an entirely different experience dependent on the season! Anyway, the cool thing about a place like this (if you've never been to one) is that you don't have to worry about keeping track of which store you picked up what item from. They have tags on each item so the employee at the checkout counter can sort all that for you and collect a single amount from you to distribute appropriately among their consignment sellers. I noticed they have baskets you can grab to help you shop (also dangerous, lol) because this place is QUITE expansive and winding. Be sure to check around each nook and cranny to see it all! (But also keep in mind, stock will always be rotating, so there'll always be new things to see.) There's lots of clothes and apparel accessories, of course, but also lots of home decor items, media like books, CDs, VHS, records, etc., toys and more. Really you gotta go see it for yourself. You'll be wandering about in something akin to awe! I would say the prices are okay. This isn't a place you're going to find big bargains. But you won't get gouged either. It's a place to discover something from your childhood and reclaim it for a reasonable finder's fee, essentially. Long story short, I killed more than forty-five minutes here, well over what I needed, hahaha, and came out with a couple cute clown-themed things to add to my growing collection. Hooray! Also neat is that they have a coffee shop in the back that also serves things like pastries and sodas for a very reasonable price. This area is spacious with lots of seating; clearly it's meant as a place to gather and hangout with friends. They even had an NES set up on a TV to play if you wanted. Very queer-friendly. It probably deserves its own separate review.

An amazing end to a long day!…read more What a great vintage stop, it had everything I loved and the prices were reasonable! Visiting this hidden gem was not on the plan for the day but just worked out that way, I LOVE LOVE a good vintage haunt, and good golly, this is it.
