This consignment shop has some serious issues with attitude and professionalism. The staff act like they're doing you a favor just by acknowledging you, and their customer service is almost non-existent. Whether they accept your items or not, there's no reason to be rude or dismissive -- basic respect should be a given. I used to put up with it because a few of the girls were decent, but overall the environment is catty and unwelcoming. The last straw for me was when I brought in a high-end designer sweater, and one of the employees offered to steam it -- then cut out the designer tag without telling me. I didn't notice until I got home. That kind of behavior is shady, and I won't be going back. There are plenty of other shops that treat people with decency and know how to run a business. I adore this luxury consignment store and appreciate it even more with each visit. One of my favorite places to shop in Orange County! I have been able to find great options each time I shop and that is pretty uncommon for consignment but they have a great selection with excellent prices, regular sale prices and helpful, friendly staff. The store is well organized and it's a nice experience. They have designer handbags from Chanel to LV in styles that are sometimes hard to find. They also have a great shoe selection along with a wide variety of clothing choices. Make sure to visit the back room for deeper discounted items. I can not say enough about this hidden gem! The inventory was shockingly good, the service was 1st class and the prices were great! My wife and 2 daughters were visiting from Nor Cal and stumbled upon this place. I didn't expect to find much for myself but man was I pleasantly surprised! I scored a rare Louis Vuitton Keepall duffle bag for half the ticketed price! Plus a Saint Laurent bracelet. The ladies that work here were so attentive. My daughter scored her now favorite boots and my wife found several amazing pieces too. I was clearing out my closet and needed to sell a bunch of clothing. Brands I had ran the gamut from Zara, Free People, Lululemon to Vince, Rag & Bone, Eileen Fisher, 3.1 Phillip Lim, etc. Someone I knew suggested I check out Twice The Style, because that's where they go to sell their items. The first time I dropped off clothing the ladies at the front took my information and said they would e-mail me a list of the inventory I gave them. That email never came, so a week and a half later I e-mailed them to follow up and never heard back. I was pretty disappointed and regretful that I even gave them what I did, due to their lack of follow through. It made me feel they weren't trustworthy. After 2-3 months, I decide to stop by to see if I had any money in my account, and I was happily surprised about the balance left for me. Since then, I decided to let their initial poor first impression slide, and have since come by a few times to drop more clothing off. I just think they are so busy that they don't follow through with little details, but overall I feel they can be trusted considering I get a fair return on the value of my items. I've shopped here before and found a few things. This was my first time bringing in clothes to sell. They turned down all my clothes down (some of them were designer brands with tags still on them) because they were the wrong season. However when I looked at their merchandise there were similar items to what I brought in. I made the mistake of looking around anyway and found one item to buy. I walked up to the desk and a woman started to ring me up. 2 women walked in and she went over to talk to them while I stood at the desk waiting for her to finish my sale. when I realized she wasn't coming back soon I asked someone else to ring me up. she did....with an attitude. As my smart friend reminded me there are much better resale shops in the area n buyer beware: I bought a $3k LV purse awhile ago and found the receipt in the box afterwards. it was the same price it sold for 3 yrs ago. The woman with terrible blue eyeliner was incredibly rude and had no style herself. She took zero time to evaluate anything. They have no idea what they are doing. If she paid attention - she would have seen that there was a $5000 bag I was willing to offer them. Big mistake. I am heartbroken to write this Yelp review, but I just left this store where I was either racially profiled or shoplifting profiled. Which is weird because I consigned with them in the past. I went for a Gucci belt that I saw online and in the moment that I entered the store, all the ladies were whispering, following me around the store and one of them made sure to make a loud comment about how they have cameras and about getting in trouble. I stayed for a few minutes more just to make sure I wasn't misunderstanding, but one lady even followed until I exit the store. Obviously they will deny the incident, but I work in high-end retail myself and I know exactly how it works, I just never expected it was going to happen to me. First, the employees at Twice the Style have obviously put in a lot of thought and time into insuring their store Is taking COVID safety guidelines and precautions seriously. They have exceeded any expectations you may have to provide their customers with a stress free safe experience experience. Customers are greeted at the door allowing a limited amount inside at one time. All are wearing face coverings and asking for us to do the same. Hand sanitizer readily available. You can even try on clothes!! They sanitize the dressing room after each customer. Actively wiping counters and displays down. They have a plexiglass separator up to keep the employees and customers safe when checking out. This review is a long time coming .. I've been going to Twice the Style for almost 20 years. I discovered it shortly after I moved to California in 2002, and have been popping by regularly ever since. I can say without hesitation that Twice the Style is by far the best high end consignment store I've been to, and I've been to a few. I've been to similar stores in Vancouver, Toronto, New York, Los Angeles and elsewhere in Orange County. Why is Twice the Style the best? Shannon, the owner, and her team keep their merchandise current and their prices reasonable. They want nothing but the best on their shelves and hanging on their racks. They only consign new or worn once or twice items. In other words, you will not see a suit that has been in someone's closet for years in this store. They ensure their inventory is flawless and up to date with trends. I've accumulated a fabulous wardrobe over the years thanks to my Twice the Style adventures; I've received too many compliments to count about the pieces I've found there. My most frequently purchased items have been tops, jackets, dresses and yoga tops. I'm not a handbag person but due to the frequency of my visits and the length of time I've been shopping there, I know they always have an impressive array of high end and ultra-high end handbags. Very cute designer consignment boutique. It's not your typical "thrift" store AT ALL. How many "thrift" shops have you been to that carries a $2,999 Chanel jacket, Dior & Burberry purses, cute shoes, amongst the "regular" or "normal" clothes? I was shocked! Some items are very pricey so don't be shocked (hello! they're designer!). Of course some items are priced very well too. It's quaint and on the small side, but they also have a little room in the back for their sale items which makes the shop look a bit larger. They have everything! Dresses, coats, tops, pants, and they're all organized by color. Some consignment shops have the old, worn smell but this place absolutely did not. It looks like a cute little boutique. I was suprised at some of the prices. There was the cutest pair of Steve Madden shoes for $15.00. Too bad they were too small. I even say quite a bit of shoes sizes 5 1/2 & 6 for those that have tiny feet like my wifey. Sunglasses, jewelry, cute leather totes/satchels, shoes, dresses, jackets, vintage Chanel, Marc Jacobs, etc.... They have it all. Personally, I think the store should be bigger since they seem to attract a good selection of consignmentees (is that a word?) and they need to get into a center WITH SOME FREAKIN PARKING. Parking was SO bad. Also, the workers at the shop were a bit snooty. She was telling me how she does "very well" and how they were shown on "Good Day LA," etc etc in this snooty little voice. I thought this store was fabulous! I came in with the expectation of all the negative reviews here but i was proved wrong. Clothes: Very reasonable prices for very gently used designer clothes. Clothes you'd see at Nordstrom that i wouldn't be able to drop all those dolla bills on. Not all of the pieces were designer as i saw some Forever 21, Gap, American Eagle but those pieces i did see were very nice and unique. I didn't even think they were those brands when i saw them. You really have to look through all the racks to find some treasures. It's a small store so it's possible. I bought a brand new Michael Kors dress new with tags for $50 that retails for $130. I was in love with it! The clothes is up to date with the current trends, pressed, and no blemishes. Staff: One of the women there was so helpful! She started a room for me so i didn't have to carry around the clothes in my arms. She didn't even count the clothes after i tried them on. I had a small backpack and i wasn't told to leave it at the counter. No one followed me, nothin. I shopped in peace. They have a sale the last weekend of each month and lucky for me i went today for the first time when they did. I also saw a sign they have layaway but i didn't ask for details. I just went in to shop around and they definitely did not make me feel comfortable. Some lady with blond hair that spoke Spanish told her co worker ( short with black hair ) to follow us around . As we were paying she tried to start a conversation while looking at my stroller . I've shopped with them before and this was the first time they did this . I don't know if it's because I brought in my child in her stroller or because we were Hispanic . We still bought something but I'm not coming back again . The black young lady that helped us was extremely nice ! But the other two were so obvious . They really thought we were trying to steel. We aren't like that . I was living right down the street from Twice The Style for almost a year until I found out about it and head to check it out right away! I was working at Bloomingdales at the time and needed to be dressed in all black for work, so I stopped in to see if I could find any pieces that I could add to my all-black-work-clothes section of my closet. I was immediately greeted by the saleswomen and proceeded to check out the shop. I was elated to find so many high end well known brands and such a great selection! Everything was organized by color which I happened to love because that's how I organize my closet. I found a few different pieces and finally found this adorable black tunic perfect to wear to work! It was in excellent shape, fit perfect and was very reasonably priced! I wore the tunic to work multiple times and every single time I was complimented by my co-workers and customers. Since then I went back a handful of times, then I moved across town where there are two consignment shops within a 1 mile radius--none are better than Twice the Style. Recently I cleaned out my closet and found some amazing stuff that I plan on bringing over and selling in the next few days. I scrolled through the 1 star and 5 star ratings. Many of the one star are fake. Reviewers has no friends and very little reviews. So not legit. This place can be a hit or miss since it is a high end resale store. The price is on the higher end for sure. It was a total hit for me since I had a second chance to grab a pair of LV shoes that I could not find in my size when it was in the stores. This is truly a second chance place! A mishmash of gently worn clothes and accessories that are pretty good. They are not priced great, but if you go to the sale room, u can really score. They blonde owner lady is often rude to people, as I have seen it more often than not. And when people leave the shop, they talk about the poor souls who aren't perfect 10s. SO they do an ugly and poor and fat shame thing, which I don't like. Because of this, I stopped shopping there. They were nice to me, as far as I know, but I sold clothes there and had quite a little side business with them. But I just didn't like their attitudes to others. A friend of mine who is height challenged walked in there and tried to consign some very nice clothes to them. Cruella told her "you are built like a little kid, this stuff won't sell here, try a kids store." Not nice to someone who is sensitive to being uber short. My chapter with them is over. Yeah I know...why did I come in here? I came in here because I was in the shopping center. The merchandise here is on the older side...think a Chico's customer. They also carried quite a few designer bags which were priced on the pricey side for used bags. There is a bargain room in the back. I picked up a bag marked down from $89.00 to $40.00. I almost bought it but no...I don't need any more bags at the moment so I put it back. Nobody said "hello" to me but that's fine, they seemed to be busy. I had to flag down a girl because I picked up the price tag on a Jimmy Choo bag to look at it and it came off in my hands. I could have just thrown it on the ground a walked away but no, I'm not that kind of a girl. A sales lady was helping another customer while I was there and she was really giving this lady a "hard sell". She kept pulling stuff out of a room where the "new" stuff is that had just come in. She was showing it to the customer and the customer told her like 8-10 times "No, not my style".
