I ENJOYED THE BEST DIRTY CHAI LATTE OF MY LIFE HERE. I'm always on the quest for local coffee cafes when I travel and Twenty Below exceeded all expectations. I didn't have a great experience in North Dakota, but this was seriously the highlight. Months later, I still talk about this chai. I wasn't able to visit inside (had our dog, so my husband went in) but there are plenty of tables on the sidewalk patio. It wasn't a long wait for our beverages and he did come out with whole bean too (which was very much enjoyed at home). The locals seem to like this place, which is a good sign. But if you happen to be passing though Fargo, do yourself a favor and visit here first! read more

Great service, food and coffee with locally sourced ingredients. The decaf americano was smooth with a hint of earthiness. The house made granola was excellent, nutty flavor not at all sweet and perfect paired with unsweetened yogurt. The "my favorite" toast was a thick slab of bread made from local flour with sharp cheddar, local sprouts and 2 poached local eggs. My husband said it was one of the best breakfast toasts he has had. We were bummed that they are not open on Sunday as we wanted to go back while we are still in town. read more

Best coffee I have had in a while and the food was delicious. I had a Cortado and ate a My New Favorite. Both were amazing! Ingredients were obviously very fresh. I also appreciated the compostable silverware. The place is really nice and cozy and I also really liked the art on the walls. What a great place! read more

This was my first time visiting the coffee bar. I ordered based on reviews I had read beforehand and was absolutely not disappointed! The Three Bears Miel is probably now my favorite beverage. I use Three Bears Honey in my coffee + tea at home so I was excited to hear a local shop uses it as well. The breakfast plate is amazing! If you're not a coffee or tea person, this dish is worth the trip in and of itself. Will absolutely visit again. read more

I really adore this place and sad I don't live closer. They clearly care about quality and pay attention to the details. Had a great Ethiopian pour over (so glad I could find a great pour over) and my friend had a Kinnick (maple cinnamon) latte, which had nice balance, sweet, but not too sweet. Amazing staff and a clear care towards sustainability makes this a must stop for me. read more

Fav cozy coffee shop in Fargo. Great place to hang with a friend and play a game of chess. Cappuccino was hot and had a good flavor. If you're craving something sweet, the Affogato is ice cream with an espresso shot on top. Friendly staff. Cool watching them mix ingredients for breads and roasting beans. I stopped by here earlier this morning with my wife and her parents for our morning coffee. My wife had singled out twenty below the day before because she saw that they had a smores latte or something like that. So on the day that we were headed out of Fargo we headed downtown first. The inside of this place looked nice and we were quickly greeted by a nice barista. While we were perusing the menu he asked us what we normally got and we replied Americanos after which I quickly ordered one. My wife ended up ordering a Nutella mocha because she didn't see the s'mores latte on their menu. I can vouch that it is still a drink that she loves and so it wasn't a problem for her. After placing our order we headed over to a table and waited for a few minutes. With our coffees in hand we headed out of the shop and towards our car. After giving it sufficient time to cool I tasted my coffee and was pleasantly surprised. The coffee tasted fresh and if I wasn't mistaken it was a single origin too. The reason that I say this is that it was skillfully roasted to the point where I could still taste some of the earthy flavor of the origins as well as a tiny bit of sweetness on the finish. I absolutely loved it and would be more than happy to get a coffee like this every day! The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. Both my wife and myself loved our coffees and thought that the place was pretty cool too. read more

This place is stupid good. That means really good. Like really really good. The staff is ultimately wonderful. The strawberry rhubarb scone was fluffy, and dare I say moist. My first coffee out in nearly 4 months... and Twenty Below hit it out of the mark! It tasted so good to have a latte again, and the service was friendly and I felt safe being there based on the masks and the distance of the customers. My boyfriend and I split a cookie - so good - and we brought some dark roast beans (frackin the brackin!) back home to Minneapolis. The beans made a great french press at home, and next time we pass through Fargo, I'll stop here for coffee and more coffee beans again. read more

Underwhelming. As soon as I walked in the barista was "WHAT CAN I GET YOU?!!" followed by "WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE?!?" when I didn't answer. Like lady I haven't even looked at the menu yet. Ordered a medium decaf kinnick, which is a maple and cinnamon latte. $7.26!!!! Ouch. Drink wasn't decaf and it was tasteless. I tossed it after a few drinks. read more

Twenty Below is a coffee shop with a heart and soul. Oh and they also prepare and serve some awesome coffee, the best waffle I've had and amazing baked goods. The space is very different than most run of the mill coffee shops. For starters, they have a coffee bar like a sushi bar where you can watch your drinks being made and interact with the 'barista'. They have comfortable couches and community style benches with free wifi. In our case, the owner Mike made my caramel latte and we chatted about pretty much everything under the sun. What stood out was how humble Mike is but also his involvement with the community. The caramel latte and the blueberry waffle are some of the best I've had. The waffle was served with goat cheese!! Who would have thought that the two would go together so well. They make their own caramel in house and it certainly reflected in the taste. The waffle and some other baked good are gluten free. The entire menu is intriguing and I would love to try more of their offering on my next visits. read more

Excellent coffee and atmosphere! The Kinnick was a lovely sweetness with the spice of cinnamon just right. My go-to at new to me coffee shops is a lavender latte to see how they sweeten/get the flavor just right. It was smooth and refreshing! The strawberry rhubarb scone was out of this world yummy, with a wonderful frosting. The fancy ham & cheese was just that - fancy and delicious with perfect sourdough. This place had an interesting vibe. You have boho and industrial lights with rustic shiplap walls and scary alternative art on the walls. My lavender latte was easily the worst I've ever had and the worst part was that it took literally 14 minutes to get 2 lattes when there was no one in front of us whose drinks had to be made first....unfortunately will not be back. read more

I came with my coworkers right around 6 am! The girl opening was so friendly and bubbly. She absolutely made our morning!!! There was a good amount of people coming in; however, she still made sure to check in on us and keep us updated on our order. The Nutella mocha was LITERALLY THE BEST! and the avocado toast w/poached egg was 10/10. read more

My mom ordered a cortado & bar from the bakery case and I got a cappuccino & raspberry white chocolate scone. The barista was extremely friendly and had a great attitude for the 6am opening shift. The drinks were well made and the bakery items from the local bakery were delectable! I would definitely recommend this shop if you live in Fargo or if you are just passing through! read more

If you are from the Cities, they are owned by the same people as the Hewing, so expect a similar level of service. I liked my old fashioned a lot, it was well made. They have a great bourbon selection, including a lot of Old Forester (which is, of course, the best bourbon). The staff was friendly and I had a nice chat. My one suggestion to the restaurant would be to mark DF (dairy free) on the menu, a lot of us can't have dairy!

Life took me to the upper Midwest last week- And while snow…read moreand chill prevailed, nothing but a hot spot was found for dinner at Rosewild!! Thank you for being a highlight of my long ways trip. Food- stunning, innovative. Ambience- funky and cozy, well spaced, great people. LOVED!!! It was a quiet Wednesday night and a nice break from a long day in having dinner at Rosewild. The decor is contemporary and comforting. We sat at a table overlooking the town's ice skaters, so fun. Drinks were well done- as always never mad at a hand stuffed blue cheese olive martini. Besides though - the food!!! Mmmmmmmm. Apps were Pork Belly burnt ends and Burrata salad. The burnt ends were a falsehood in name, could've been more juicy and meaty to mimic beef, but the flavor was there. Burrata, delicious! Light pesto of fresh herb. Entrees around the table were Steaks, Walleye dishes and two sides. Steaks were well taken by those enjoying. Not the best of cuts chosen towards hanger but made for a satisfaction. The walleye - loved the staying local feel here. And the bread pudding underneath. WHAT was this???! - divine!!! Again an inspo dish. This bread pudding- I am finding recipe and making for a holiday dish accompaniment. WOW!! Additional sides brought towards the steaks were roasted brussels and fried potatoes. These potatoes- had to be fried in an animal fat. They had SOOOOO much flavor. I swear to you not- we were finished dinner, everything was taken off the table and I would NOT LET GO of these fries. FML. I die. I want to eat them again and again. I wanted to take them with, on the plane and repeat a thousand times over. I think the best fries I've ever had in life, no lie. Well freaking done Rosewild. I'd never think reason to come back to Fargo being an East Coast girl, except for you- and the exquisite service, ambiance and food. You are killing it!
