Summer House is a California-based chain, and they have a lot of good-looking sweets, like cookies, muffins and Rice Krispie treats. They also have a full menu of other things like salads and brunch things. I didn't get any food, though -- just coffee. So if you're looking for a place in O'Hare to get black coffee that isn't that one place, this is a good option.

I saw a kid mopping up neon yellow slime, and a woman doing acrobatics to climb over it. I just like people, and I like politely watching them do people things. I hit a discreet angle for just a few moments, zoomed all the way in on just the floor, no faces captured. It should come as no surprise that once I ended it and looked up the woman attached to the feet was furious, telling me to mind my own fucking business. Amen sister. I often and fondly recall the time Anthony Bourdain did a reddit AMA, where someone asked in his opinion, what is the best form of meat in tube, and he said The Chicago Hot Dog. So I got one at the airport because today I am the queen of I don't give a gaf. This is a beautiful tube of meat. Right up my alley, as I am a huge toppings kinda woman. Most of these bars and restaurants serve house wines with minimal choices but Bubbles has higher end wines, Champaign and Prosecco, but not expensive and a variety of different wine regions and varietals to offer. Wines from California, France and Spain as well as Argentina. This was a classic wine bar that also served cocktails beers and mimosas. Limited to a Charcuterie board selection of meat and one that has cheeses but we did not sit down here for a meal. We came for the wine. I drank an excellent Cabernet from Alexander Valley and my wife had a Savignon Blanc. We ordered the Cheese Charcuterie board to pair with the wines. The bar atmosphere was conducive to meeting people and anytime you are drinking wine in an atmosphere like this, it makes it easy to do so. We really had a nice time here and will definitely be looking to spend my time before my flights here when in Terminal 3. Great find to spend our time. The service was great and friendly.
