They both came back the next day on time (texting me first), picked everything up and away they went. Great experience. There are multiple rooms with a kitchen and bar area. I noticed there was an upstairs available too. I was informed that the venue was inexpensive. If you want to have a sit-down meal the space is limited. The weather was nice which meant a lot of people took advantage and were seated outside in the courtyard. The full house not including the kitchen is $90.00 an hour with a two-hour minimum and a maximum of 150 people along with a $500 cleaning deposit which is refundable. There are multiple rooms inside along with a bar and a kitchen area. They have big refrigerators and a fair amount of space inside the kitchen. The courtyard is shaded and very comfortable, even in the summer. The best part I think is the access to the park. If you guests need to take a breather they can walk a couple of steps and be in the trees. Thumbs Up!

We wanted our day to feel like a slightly fancy-outdoorsy family reunion and knew this spot would be perfect when we visited it in the spring. By the fall, the greenery around the venue had filled in, making the area (and all our photos) extra beautiful. The available space can be set up in many different layouts. The ceremony area easily fit our guest list of 40, with room to spare. Then, it doubled as an area for games and later a bit of casual dancing by just moving a few chairs. We loved having a few different but connected areas for guests to spend time together. The owners were so helpful explaining everything about the venue. There are two flown speakers on either side of the stage, they are directed to the rear of the room. There is nothing to cover the front of the audience. I was up on the railing for the show and I could not hear any vocals from the band. There are wedge monitors directed at the band, but no front fills for the audience. I had a good time, but the audio quaility needs to be improved.

We were in the area and saw the big black widow spider and thought what a large Halloween store. But we were pleasantly mistaken - What used to be a bowling alley has now been repurposed into an absolute wonderland of an experience. It's a full blown kid friendly adult friendly haunted warehouse. My 4 year old son had an absolute blast, it starts of with a bit of trick or treating as your making your way through the adventure, then turns into a full on experience as each and every room has a theme from Jurassic park, aliens, robots, clowns, skeletons, a mirror room that I conveniently banged my head into, all the way to the super psychedelic tunnel. Which leads you to the Macabre mansion - for adults and children too. THEY ARE EXTREMELY ACCOMMODATING- asking how scary you'd like the experience to be. Seeing as my Little guy is 4 we asked for no jump scares. And made it through enjoying every bit of the way. My little guy hugged the zombie, high fives leather face and complimented his chainsaw, noting it looked like it could use some oil, but the blood would do. We had an absolute blast. They are doing a Christmas themed experience as well. The owner has a dream, retired and sunk all of her savings into an experience we can all appreciate. I hope to see them sound for many many more years to come. Do yourself a favor and check them out! You won't be disappointed.

At the back was the kitchen where Reno Recipes prepared the meal. Outback is an amazing fully pavered yard with comfy seating and overhead lighting. Pictures inside show the area set up for outdoor dining. Now that would be a fabulous space for eating al fresca. The space seems great for small to medium sized events. The ones your house is just too small for, yet you want that homey cozy vibe. Street parking in the area is free.

I liked all the small touches like signs and decor and I appreciated that they had some sun umbrellas, unfortunately they all had holes in them. We were looking forward to using the photo booth as well but it was not working. There was a miscommunication by the staff and it caused the wedding to begin much later than planned but they allowed my friend more time at the venue because the mistake was theirs so it all worked out in the end. If you are looking at using this venue, I tried to include as many base photos as possible so you can get a good idea of what you will be working with. I would recommend it for smaller, more casual weddings only. There is limited parking and there are only one or two staff members at most so you and your wedding party will be responsible for a lot of what needs doing. If you are on a budget, this could be a great option, but bear in mind you will have to use their designated caterer for any food. Also, if the lavender blooming is important to you, be sure to check that you are scheduling your event for the right time of the year. This night was a 10 person live jazz band and it was amazing. It is a very intimate seating of maybe 40 people. One of our friends Husband was playing in the band and we were able to get tickets. Very cool spot . Definitely would come back for other events. Atmosphere was great , drinks were great , bartenders awesome . Great night spent with Fam ! Enjoy !!!!

They've been open for 4 years in this location and there is another location on the other side which has been open for 7. Nautilus is a bar and venue and is very, very cool. It is eclectic and modern and perfect for small parties. You do have to bring in catered food as they have only drinks. They do have occasional happy hours but you would have to check the website to find out when. Our venue was a wedding shower for about 30 people. Jake and Lorenzo were so very friendly and welcoming to all of us. Our food trays came from the Cheese Board which I will review separately. We had three signature drinks available to the guests but it was an open bar so there were other offerings to be had. I really love this space and I hope that they can expand into having food and more regular happy hours. It is on the alley back side of Virginia Street so a little bit difficult to find but it is definitely worth checking out. If you need a small sized venue you could probably accommodate easily 50 people with comfortable couches, brick walls, a piano and a nice size bar in the back corner. Really love the space.
