Waitress was super attentive, took our orders and delivered our coffees right away. Location seems a little smaller than the Camp Hill one but runs much more efficiently. Husband opted for the GOAT omelet and potatoes, I got the 3 egg white omelet with cheese, tomatoes and spinach with mixed greens. Food was very light and refreshing, just what we were looking for. I couldn't finish all my cold brew so our waitress offered to get me a to go cup so it wouldn't go to waste. Stopped in at 1:30 for lunch. I am glad they are open till 3pm! My husband had the cubano sandwich and enjoyed that. I had the avocado eggs Benedict which was tasty. I had a side of greens versus potatoes and I enjoyed the greens and dressing they used. Service was quick and friendly. We ate in the back where the booths are located...they r comfy. Food- I got the Strawberry Cheesecake French Toast without the cheesecake frosting. It was the best I've ever had, and I would definitely get it again. I also got the Cookie Explosion Hot Chocolate, and that was good, too, but I sort of wish it didn't have caramel syrup in it. Otherwise, AMAZING toppings, AND hot chocolate! Also, they have free coffee while waiting and free cereal for children along with peppermints! Service- Great waitress, I love how nice she was. She even showed us the whole menu and explained everything on it! She was so prepared for us! Turning Point is good for families, as well as they can seat 1 person, too! The salad that accompanied it had a dressing that tasted rancid. I informed the waitress who said "oh no," but did nothing about it. Found this little gem by accident! Turning Point is a bright, airy place off of Roherstown Road to go to for breakfast or lunch! The staff were very welcoming (Shout out to Anthony here for his friendliness and food recommendations.). My husband and I both ordered omelets and they came with English muffins and/or a small salad or potatoes. I ordered The GOAT with the salad. The salad was topped with a light, citrus dressing! I came here for breakfast with a party of 7 over the weekend. I called ahead around 9:45 to ask about wait times and put our name in, being aware we have a large group and brunch wait times can be long generally. I said we would be there in about 20-25 minutes and was told that was perfect, table should be ready by then. Fast forward to our arrival (I had just confirmed via text we were coming) I go inside and the host tells me the table needs to be cleared and isn't quite ready. No big deal it seemed. The next hour proceeded to be a back and forth of the host reassuring us "we're just waiting for this one table" and "you're next in the queue" and other statements without ever giving an actual time estimate or saying it will be a wait. We reached an hour past our arrival and asked if we could just sit at separate tables. We said if they were unable to accommodate large parties that's fine just tell us so we can go elsewhere; they were unable to give any straight answer which was frustrating. We finally made it in to be seated shortly after that conversation and the experience was fine, food was fine, service was great and the prices were about what you'd expect. If not for the terrible communication about the wait I would have no complaints. If we had been informed at any point that we would have such a long wait time it would have been better. The constant false assurances about an upcoming seating felt unprofessional. There were other options we would have gone to for breakfast had we known it would be such a long wait, but when you're repeatedly told it's fine, you're up next, they just have to clear the table or they're just waiting on one party, we didn't realize it was a problem. Ultimately, if there had been any clear communication about the difficulty of seating a large party or anything at all about the long wait time that would have been much preferred to the vague assurances we received along with lack of any acknowledgement or apology from the hosting staff. I want to first say, that the staff at Turning Point restaurant are the best!! They are very polite, helpful and attentive. Now, about the food...I wasn't immpressed. I ordered a cup of hot chocolate to start off with and the presentation was great, however it tasted like it was made with water. Even all the whipped cream on it didn't help. I was expecting a, chocolately, velvety rich flavor, it was lacking in that area. Secondly, I ordered the basic skillet meal (eggs, potatoes and cheese)... and the potatoes were very dry, they actually ruined the meal. I also would have appreciated a creamier cheese base. All in all, it is a nice place with good service, but the food just wasn't the greatest (in my opinion.) I may give it another try, but no time soon. read more

We drove all the way to Lancaster from Harrisburg to meet up with our sons they have been waiting for 45 minutes when we came in they said they already signed up so after an hour we decided to go to YI PIN in Columbia about 0.5 miles we were already eating at YI Pin When my son notified our table is ready.
