Avocado Toast with smoked salmon on top! Yummy!
Doug B.

Turning Point is still my favorite place to have a beautiful breakfast in Lancaster! The food, staff, and ambiance with the fireplace all work together to yield a magnificent breakfast experience. They have 6 varieties of French press fresh coffee from around the globe. They have sweet delicacies like banana pancakes and savory specialties like the Mediterranean Shakshuka with three poached eggs in a warm tomato and bell pepper sauce. They also have super healthy juice combinations that please the palate while appeasing the body. I had the avocado toast breakfast and added some smoked salmon on top. Wow! That was delicious! The parking is sufficient and the sound level is very low. Try it, you'll love it and enjoy this Lancaster favorite today!

NEW Blondie - A tall, clear glass contains iced coffee with a layer of foam on top, decorated with caramel syrup drizzled down the sides. The drink is placed on a dark, speckled countertop, with a black straw inserted into the glass. In the background, there are various items including a glass jar, a glass of water, and a blurred view of a cafe interior with shelves and a television screen.

Food- I got the Strawberry Cheesecake French Toast without the cheesecake frosting. It was the best I've ever had, and I would definitely get it again. I also got the Cookie Explosion Hot Chocolate, and that was good, too, but I sort of wish it didn't have caramel syrup in it. Otherwise, AMAZING toppings, AND hot chocolate! Also, they have free coffee while waiting and free cereal for children along with peppermints! Service- Great waitress, I love how nice she was. She even showed us the whole menu and explained everything on it! She was so prepared for us! Turning Point is good for families, as well as they can seat 1 person, too! Ambiance- Such a pretty place! They're a little bit pricey there, but Turning Point is definitely one of my favorite breakfast spots around me, so I think it's worth it. We went there for Father's Day, and my dad got a ceramic coffee cup! That is pretty cool. Just be prepared to wait around 10-55 minutes, it is crowded.

Love the coffee-infused ice cube for the cold brew. - The image shows a restaurant table with a glass containing a large ice cube, a glass of water, and a pitcher of dark soda. The table has condiments, sugar packets, and a menu. In the background, there are diners seated, with some wearing caps, and the restaurant interior features framed pictures and potted plants.

Nice service, great coffee, tasty food. Fun signage, decor, and merch. Would definitely come back.

Harvest skillet - A meal with two fried eggs placed on a bed of roasted sweet potatoes, carrots, and other vegetables in a black skillet. The dish is accompanied by a side salad of mixed greens with purple and green leaves. The presentation suggests a healthy brunch or breakfast option.

We needed this kind of 24/7 brunch spot in Lancaster!! Highly recommend for a great meal, affordable prices and friendly service. Coffee is top notch!

Nashville hot chicken Benedict (spring special) - A plate features chicken and waffles topped with melted cheese, sliced red onions, and chopped green onions. Roasted diced potatoes with seasoning are served on the side. The dish is presented in a white bowl, highlighting a combination of savory flavors and textures.

This is my favorite spot to take people for breakfast or brunch! Their seasonal Benedict's are my favorite item to order, along with the shrimp and grits. I love getting a French press of coffee, or their cold brew with cold foam, because the foam comes out in the cutest little glass. The service is always amazing, it's an adorable and clean little restaurant, and you'll definitely be coming back!

A round wooden table holds multiple plates of breakfast foods including pancakes with butter, scrambled eggs, toast, sausage links, and hash browns. Beverages such as orange juice, coffee, and water are also present. The table is set with utensils, salt and pepper shakers, and condiments. Several people are seated around the table, partially visible, enjoying the meal in a casual dining setting.

Stopped here on our way back to NY after a wedding the night before. We waited about 45 minutes on a sunday morning which was well worth it once we sat down. The food was amazing and the service was even better. Genoveva, our server, was fantastic. She was on point, didn't miss a beat, and made sure we were well taken care of. This place is awesome and we will come back from NY to have it again!

A screenshot of a text message conversation shows a message confirming a reservation at Turning Point, with instructions to check in at the host stand and a note about potential table transfer if not arriving within five minutes. The conversation includes a reply confirming attendance and a message indicating the sender is not in the contact list.

I came here for breakfast with a party of 7 over the weekend. I called ahead around 9:45 to ask about wait times and put our name in, being aware we have a large group and brunch wait times can be long generally. I said we would be there in about 20-25 minutes and was told that was perfect, table should be ready by then. Fast forward to our arrival (I had just confirmed via text we were coming) I go inside and the host tells me the table needs to be cleared and isn't quite ready. No big deal it seemed. The next hour proceeded to be a back and forth of the host reassuring us "we're just waiting for this one table" and "you're next in the queue" and other statements without ever giving an actual time estimate or saying it will be a wait. We reached an hour past our arrival and asked if we could just sit at separate tables. We said if they were unable to accommodate large parties that's fine just tell us so we can go elsewhere; they were unable to give any straight answer which was frustrating. We finally made it in to be seated shortly after that conversation and the experience was fine, food was fine, service was great and the prices were about what you'd expect. If not for the terrible communication about the wait I would have no complaints. If we had been informed at any point that we would have such a long wait time it would have been better. The constant false assurances about an upcoming seating felt unprofessional. There were other options we would have gone to for breakfast had we known it would be such a long wait, but when you're repeatedly told it's fine, you're up next, they just have to clear the table or they're just waiting on one party, we didn't realize it was a problem. Ultimately, if there had been any clear communication about the difficulty of seating a large party or anything at all about the long wait time that would have been much preferred to the vague assurances we received along with lack of any acknowledgement or apology from the hosting staff. Very frustrating experience.

Cinnamon Roll skillet! Add your cream till you drop!!

Food was well apportioned and extremely good. Supper yummy to borrow. Loved the fireplace too busy to get to it. Pro tip! Walk up bar...no wait! Served by China very attentive she even gave us fresh to go cups for our beverages! Kayla was so attentive and she was even our server. If you prefer a table a wait is expected. Definitely on the return. But what makes this place truly worth the visit is the uplifting staff and a great atmosphere.

Shrimp & Grits- way different than the posted photo on here....

The Lunch Ladle - These wings were lacking in flavor. Perhaps adding additional sauce might have helped?

This is my first time back under new ownership. I ordered…read morethe hot bar, soup, along with the salad bar. The lasagna soup wasn't what I expected as there were no lasagna noodles or adequate amounts of meat or cheese in the cup that I was served. The sauce tasted like marinara which I enjoyed. Some of the wing flavors that I sampled didn't come through with enough flavor. The hot and barbecue wings were just standard to me. The steak for the steak sandwich was also very standard. I didn't see any pickle chips on the salad bar, but did settle for banana peppers. The meatball sandwich was lacking melted cheese and the grated cheese didn't help in anyway. The value of their all you can eat buffet definitely makes up for the lack of flavor in some of the wing sauces. It also helps with the issues I experienced with their steak and meatball sandwiches. The salad bar was just like how I remembered and the amount of desserts may have been decreased? The brownie and cookies were acceptable. Again, there are better places to enjoy wings, steak sandwiches, and meatball sandwiches, but you'll definitely not get the quantity at this price point of $14.50. ( Soup, hot buffet, and salad bar)

I was in town visiting my parents. I asked my mom where she wanted to go for lunch and, even with…read morethe huge variety of unique eateries, she chose Panera. Straight off, I'll tell you that I wasn't on board. My local Paneras is dirty, the orders are always wrong and the food just passable. I avoid it as much as I can. This time though, I was pleasantly surprised. Mom ordered the tuna on focaccia and tomato soup. I was a little grumpy and just ordered a basic half and half - tomato soup and grilled cheese. I ordered, paid, got our drinks and waited for my buzzer to scream. When I went to get our food, I was looking at two large platters where perched were bowls of hot liquid. The manager, Jenny, happened to be standing there and offered a much needed hand. My grilled cheese definitely could have used a little more "grilling" but it was cheesy and melty. My soup was basic tomato and I liked the croutons on top. My Panera adds shaved Parmesan cheese which was unfortunately missing. My mom deconstructed her sandwich (don't ask, I type while rolling my eyes) and pretty much wiped the soup bowl clean with the guts of her baguette. Everything about our visit was good. From the moment we were cheerfully greeted at the counter, everything was what a Panera should be. Thanks for giving me faith in a company I had given up on.

Ive been to plenty of panera breads before, but this time was an interesting experience…read more Upon arrival and in the middle of ordering, another customer had ordered a bowl of broccoli cheddar soup. The soup she got in the bowl of soup almost looked as if it was less than a cup of soup. The customer was upset by this. Upon receiving our cups of soup, the bowl definitely did not come close to the cup of soup. I had gotten a bread bowl and chicken noodle soup. The soup was cold and it took a longer time than usual to receive our food. My family was with me and they had got the pick two with half of sandwiches. My wife was trying to get the green goddess sandwich and was told they no longer make this item however they now have a green goddess salad. The sandwiches have gotten smaller over the years, the half almost looks like a quarter now. The location itself was in rough shape, we got there around 6pm. Most tables were not cleaned off and there was noticeable dirt throughout the location on the floor. Eventhough the soup temperature wasn't great, the actual taste of the soups we had received were still pretty good. The bread bowls are always stellar.
