This has been on my list of coffee shops to try for probably 7 years or so and I was happy to finally go during my recent Lancaster trip. I liked the location it was in a neat part of town and it had parking - and a drive thru - how great ! They had a lot of seasonal options and regular menu choices to choose from! I went with the maple bourbon latte! It had beautiful latte art which I appreciated. The flavor was very very subtle I would have loved to taste more but overall the espresso - milk ratio was great ! I also went with the pumpkin chocolate chip cream cheese muffin - this was definitely a start of my order. The staff was so unbelievably sweet and they also had merch which was nice. Very industrial feels but they did have some "cozy" seating options. It seems like a lot of people just hang out here and do work! Dear copper cup employees, a well toasted bagel does not look like this. Please learn how to toast bagels. I also don't understand why this is so messy to eat, I need at least 10 napkins every time I order a bagel. It shouldn't be this white if it's toasted.... Lovely place, the coffee is ok. The staff however are not very friendly. No greeting, no thank you or goodbye, and they are not at all helpful. The one thing they're great at is asking you for a tip after waiting in line to order and waiting longer to get the drink and not even saying hello. Obsessed with this cute little coffee shop! Amazing options and the staff is fantastic. We had a small group, did a nice little afternoon walk to the location. They have indoor and outdoor seating available as well as drive up service if you're on the go. We got a matcha latte with oat milk, a copper latte and a honey lavender iced coffee and they were so amazing. They have Passenger coffee so that's always good. The egg bites were the blandest thing I've had in ages. No seasoning. Just tasteless fluffy egg with some scant toppings sprinkled in. I'll get my Passenger coffee elsewhere. read more

Coffee and food were delicous. Service was nice as well. Convenient location, ample, easy free parking lot. Inside is roomy but cozy. There is also a room with a community table for small groups. Coffee is delicious. Get the Copper Latte, comes with honey and cinnamon. Very nice minimalistic building. Outlets by almost every seat for working or charging phones. Friendly staff. Oh and they serve local coffee from Passenger and Wilbur Chocolate from Lititz in their mocha. Sporks! This place has them, and you'll never go back. Copper cup serves up delightful coffee and they have a fantastic atmosphere. You'll be delighted by the staff, who are always friendly and attentive. There's an intangible positivity about this place. In addition to the coffee, the food is great too! The peaches and cream baked oatmeal is sweet and savory, the tomato pie is cheesy with a nice crust, but the sunshine muffins steal the show. I'm here quite often because the interior is great when you need to get work done. There is a conference room that seats 6-8 (you should reserve this ahead of time) that has closable doors for private conversations, and most of the tables have an outlet for keeping your devices charged. Speaking of charged, I notice the other reviews are anti-spork. I'm solidly on the other side of the fence. While the mouthfeel of the spork has some texture; I think the unique utility combined with the novelty is fantastic. I love using the wooden spoon/fork hybrid. It's perfect for the baked oatmeal and works well with the tomato pie, though I wouldn't want to eat salads with it. Overall I give this place 5/5 and I love working here and drinking their java. I would recommend it for a casual cup of joe, for a business meeting, or if you just need a place to sit and work. read more

Stopped in to Copper Cup for the first time on my way to work this morning! Went to the drive through and had an easy time ordering. Everyone was very friendly. Very convenient. I ordered the Raw Cappuccino which has raw honey and raw sugar that the shot is pulled over (as the woman explained to me) and I didn't want something too sweet, so I asked for just a little bit of honey and no raw sugar. Cappuccino came out a lot more like a latte, about a half inch of foam on the top and way too sweet for my taste. The shot was pulled perfectly though! So that was great, but I will have to try again and specify a more dry cappuccino and even less honey! Over all, I will give this place a try again. They have a creative menu and, at least with this barista, a nicely pulled shot, but not so much of a cappuccino... I'll update my review next time to go back! read more

This was an interesting experience. I came in looking to get a catering size container of coffee as well as 12 baked items. They said they were not set up to provide catering containers for coffee. They did have one, but there was no lid. They ended up tapping some tissue paper over the opening so the coffee didn't spill. I appreciated the creativity, but thought it was a bit silly they didn't have a lid. They also didn't have creamer to go, so they gave me a small cup with a lid and filled it with creamer. Very inconvenient as I had to hold it while I was driving. For the 12 baked goods, I just asked for a variety. I got 4 rhubarb muffins and 8 lemon scones. Not much of a variety at all. I had a scone, which had good flavor but was very dry. The staff was very friendly and nice. They did their best to accommodate my order. read more

This is my second time here and I can honestly say that this is one of THE BEST coffee shops in Lancaster! Such a relaxed atmosphere and the staff are super friendly. The chairs are super comfy and outlets at almost every table make for a great working spot! The Wi-Fi is fast and reliable and music is at a reasonable volume to be able to concentrate on your work or to talk with your friends. Not to mention the food is fantastic! The Harvest baked oatmeal is out of this world! My only complaint was the salted Nutella latte was just a little too salty. Chai tea is super yummo! read more

Great little coffee shop. I love the juxtaposition of cement and wood. There are plenty of seats and even more important to a freelance writer without an office, plenty of outlets. The coffee and latte flavors are not your typical caramels and mochas. Same goes for the food choices. Uniqueness in a plethora of coffee shops is a definite bonus in my book. The only thing that distracted from the all the great things was the unfriendliness of the workers. I understand I took a little bit to decide what I wanted but staring at me with a "hurry up" pissed off face didn't exactly make me feel welcome. So I've been here twice as I live nearby; building is clean, coffee is decent, and their tomato pie is actually a pie with tomatoes. Only complaint: first time I went was about a week after it opened. Used the drive thru since I had just worked out and was trying to be courteous to the other patrons. Ordered a medium coffee and a food. Coffee was reasonably priced - OR SO I THOUGHT! I was given my drink in A PAPER CUP. Just be prepared guys and know what you're getting into. I wasn't given the proper copper chalice I had envisioned in my head. I tad bit of a letdown with the misleading name. Anyway, check them out. On a side note: All my elderly neighbors call the coffee "millennial style" which is confusing and maybe a bit ignorant. Its a coffee shop. Tomato Pie Cafe is one of my favorite restaurants of all time, and it's a little far away, and I LOVE that they have their tomato pie here!! So perfect! Copper Cup's snickerdoodle latte was so good and not too sweet, and the fact they have oat milk already puts them above most coffee spots. Finally, a unique coffee shop! Sometimes it just feels like all coffee places look and feel the same. Stopped by for a quick coffee in the morning, wishing I could stay longer. I love the style and atmosphere of this place, not to mention the personal and incredibly friendly service. They addressed me by name and thanked me with such sincerity. My drink came out hot and delicious, along with a yummy bagel and cream cheese. They even gave me a second drink for free when I mentioned that I wished I had gotten an ice drink. With my first visit I was intrigued by the choice of an industrial decor for a coffee house, but the all-glass enclosure with the steel created more light for the space inside. The glass enclosed meeting space impressed me, it really provides a great community space -- great ideas usually happen over 2 beverages, alcohol or coffee. The location is on a great intersection with good parking available, and a drive through. It is a good work place, although technically I think they can get away with adding a table and more chairs, and maybe a replacement of the 2 "comfy" chairs (the cushions were pretty flat and had you in a weird cocoon- position. To the recommendation of the staff the GF cookies are absolutely delicious and will fool you. I had the honey lavender latte which had neither flavor and too sweet for my taste. But I definitely will come back to check out the rest of the menu, because the best part of this coffee shop was the professional, extremely polite and friendly staff. Desiree actually asked my name and had warm conversation with me, Kailee's demeanor was sweet and professional as she explained the reservation process for the "meeting/community room". Overpriced, as are almost all coffee shops. But I love the atmosphere, and their sunshine muffin is the best! They use Passenger coffee, which has a bit of a woody taste, in my opinion. It's not my favorite, but I like Copper Cup enough to keep going back. It's a great place to set up a laptop and get some work done. It's never been crowded when I've been there. In fact, the complete opposite. The lack of noise and people can sometimes make it difficult to have private conversations without someone overhearing, but there is a secluded glass room with a door for people who need extra privacy or silence. I love the large windows and natural lighting. It gives the place a bright and cheerful vibe. I absolutely prefer it over Starbucks. Also the employees are super friendly and helpful. read more
