The Dr's were nice but it seems like they rotate a lot so I had to explain things over. Also, I want to make other patients aware that the roller table to loosen your muscles before the adjustment is not included in your visit or insurance or co-pay. They didn't mention it, then back bill me! Then when I asked why wasn't I told this they seemed a little attitudinal- Total turn off. Everyone that I have been to since have included it or some other way to relax the back. I feel it an essential part of an adjustment. For the past 3 months, I have been coming to Turning Point for my back and hip pain and have experienced an overwhelming difference in comfort, flexibility, and general well being! The staff are so friendly and professional and really gave me the sense of care that I needed. Scheduling an appointment is super easy as well! I was actually able to call and get an appointment in on the same day I first called them! They are also very flexible and willing to work and move appointment times so it betters your work schedule. The facility is also not only beautiful, but very clean, and there's always parking when I visit. I had such high expectations of this place as it came highly recommended by my friend. The first time I went the AC was out and I had to wait 30 minutes just to be taken to a back room while I watched short video and waited for another 15 minutes. The Chiropractor that came in was super awesome and made many awesome adjustments. I scheduled another appointment for a week later (the AC had been fixed) and she only did four small adjustments whilst skipping my wrist adjustment. She then said stand up handed me a brochure which said I needed to come back 3 times per week for three weeks then twice a week for four weeks. She walked me to the front reception area and the receptionist handed me a payment schedule for all my next appointments! I felt duped at this point! I told them I couldn't put the full balance on my credit card at this time as it was hefty amount of money they requested. I felt like this appointment was more like a way of getting you in and taking your money. Sadly I won't be returning to this place!!!! read more

I saw Dr Jessica for significant lower back pain after tweaking it at the gym. My usual chiropractor was not in the office and I was in pain and needed to be seen that same day. She took her time to really understand the issue and assess me. She discovered and showed me details of the injury others had not and really provided great relief and care. I went into the office yesterday with a really bad neck. I've never been to a chiropractor before and I was so nervous. The nurse came in and was asking me questions about my neck and after I told her how bad it was she mentioned going to the ER first since their facility did not have a x-ray machine. I took her advice and went to get X-rays at the ER. The fact that they did not want to work on me due to the severity of my neck and they were really listening to me and my pain levels made me trust them and I am so excited to schedule another appt now that I have X-rays. read more

As much as I love the staff and how friendly they are I'm starting to believe this place is just one of those production companies like Waialae Dental where it's a "get in and get out" business. I used to think if a business has multiple locations then they must care and offer great service, but I'm starting to realise I was such a fool to believe something like that. I've been to other chiropractors and have always received x-rays but this business has never offered that or any other screenings in that matter which was a first for me. I thought that was weird but it didn't really bother me so I let it slide. I initially started coming here because I have this deep pain in my scapula area. Even though I have mentioned this many times I noticed the only adjustments I receive are the basic adjustments from cracking the neck, hip, and spine, nothing more. My shoulders/scapula area was never touched nor adjusted. My chiropractor went out of town one day so I had a substitute for one of the adjustments and he actually did do an adjustment that I've been yearning for and he was surprised when I mentioned that I have not been receiving this form of adjustment this whole time. That is when I became suspicious. All in all, I have been coming here for almost a year and the pain I once came here to get assessed still lingers and if not feels worse than before. Dr. Jessica, she's very nice. Also the front desk lady, very helpful and friendly. But my overall experience is very poor because it totally felt like a scam. Especially when I received my insurance bills, I think they created a treatment plan based on your insurance coverage, not exactly for the pain. I saw their AD on Facebook and sent an inquiry, and I got quite few phone calls and messages asking for making an appointment, so I did, first time was great, plus the electric treatment total is about 20 mins. But they didn't give new patient or first treatment discount like the FB AD mentioned. I was charged $150 just for "Office Visit"! The rest couple of times all treatment add up together is less than 15mins, and I still paying out of my own pocket $24. I went travel and got a local Lomi Lomi treatment which was an hour of care, it felt much better than just a quick office visit. I appreciate the staff's effort but the business model just felt like a scam and totally made me not want to go back. Especially for someone who's in pain, I suggest you to find somewhere who has time to work on relieving your pain, instead of draining your health insurance. read more

I've had chronic neck tension which causes headaches for quite a while, always just tried to stretch it out on my own and deal with it. I've considered seeing a chiropractor for some time but just put it off. I recently did some research and contacted a few offices to see if I could schedule and if my insurance was accepted. I found Turning Point Chiropractic and reached out, they were able to schedule me fairly soon AND took my insurance! I've had to reschedule my initial appointment a couple of times due to conflicts in my schedule and the staff were so accommodating and nice in finding another day that worked. After my first visit with Dr. Jessica the tension in my neck was noticeably SO much better! Nervous at first, but she made me feel comfortable & worked well with me. This place was great for me and my boyfriend from the start. I made an appointment with a man named Anson Ho. (I think that was his name) Unfortunately, when we came back a couple of months later. I found out he had left the company, I guess. So I ended up seeing a chiropractor named Richard Levi instead. He was really cool and nice. Definitely helped adjust me and my boyfriend just as great as Dr. Anson did. The staff is super nice but downside I think to this review is that I think that they started charging for the massage therapy they would do before and after your adjustment which was really a bummer. Be very aware that they don't cover with insurance companies so paying out of pocket is not that cheap. But otherwise I love this company! read more

I love it here, they are so efficient and clean, the doctors and staff are super friendly! Also I love that each quarter they are raising funds for different non-profit organizations and charities. Also the workers are super helpful cause I suck at coming in on time or if Imiss an appointment and they are sooooooooo good at fixing and accommodating...they also do a great job at relieving the tension I've been having on my back. Dr Lily has quickly become one of my favorite chiropractors that we have ever used. I especially appreciate her for my oldest son who is 9. Both have my boys have grown up being adjusted since birth. He does not like his neck being adjusted, she used a method in him with him sitting up and laying his cheek in her palm. This worked so well, that he actually asked to go see her again because he felt like he needed adjusted again. This was huge for us! Anyone that has control issues and does not like their neck being manipulated the traditional way should give her a try.
