In 2021, my neck was hurting so bad from long time sitting and computer work I looked up Yelp and called Dr Luke. I was desperate and was in so much pain I was going to cry. Amazing experience with Dr. Wyland Luke! I had a terrible accident when traveling internationally, fell down many stairs, had fractures in my nose, maxillofacial bones and ribs. I was healing exceptionally well after a few surgeries, but kept on having dizzy spells coming at most unexpected times and really affected my confidence of moving around. Went to see Dr. Luke. With one xray, he clearly identified the issue was at my Atlas cervical joint which was shifted during my accident and caused muscle inflammation etc. He had a clean plan. I have been watching so many alignment and adjustment videos on Instagram for months and been dealing with this annoying pain in my left shoulder for years...so I finally decided to bite the financial bullet and see a chiropractor. After looking on Yelp, I came across Dr. Luke from Ke'ale Chiropractor. The first appointment is like an informational session where you learn about what the chiropractor does, take a few x-rays to see what your alignment looks like today, the doctor goes over the x-rays and asks questions on what pain points I have and get a history. While I was disappointed that there was no adjustment this first session, I was excited to see if the chiropractor can help with my shoulder pain and help correct my neck alignment. While I haven't completed all my sessions yet, I have noticed an improvement where I feel like I can breathe easier, my left shoulder pain isn't as frequent or as intense, and I get my back and necked adjusted every week...which is amazing. I do love hearing the cracks and I just feel like I function better after each session. They don't accept insurance. Initial meeting they examine you and do X-rays which they don't even go over with you unless you come back a second time. The adjustments are the same ones you'd get at other chiropractors. It's nothing special. Other chiropractors I've seen were shocked at the price and how this place could be accepting no insurance and charging so much. I went in to get care for whiplash and walked out feeling worse. I kept telling Dr. Wyland Luke I was feeling worse but he just kept adjusting and making more appointments without addressing the issue. I finally stopped going and got a second opinion and they are treating me now. He caused me to have more damage to my neck than when I first went in for some whiplash. Location sucks. Parking sucks, they don't even validate. I was quoted $130 for the exam & $50 for an x-ray if I needed one. When I got there, I was told that the exam does not include any adjustments and if I get any adjustments, it'll be an additional $120. So that's $250 if I wanted to leave there NOT in pain. So I decided to leave and told them I don't appreciate the bait and switch pricing. I was then told that they can do it for $180. I told them that is still not what I was quoted when I made the appointment, i was told $130. They said that's only for the exam which does not include any adjustments. I made the appointment so I can get some pain relief and feel I was being tricked into a different price structure. I can't trust a place that lies to get me in the door! Dr. Wyland was very patient and skillful. My brother had some really bad migraine, and his neck was stiff. But within 3 sessions of seeing Dr. Wyland he feels significantly better (pain level from a 9 down to 0.5). The last session Dr. Wyland spent 15 minutes just working on his neck and released all the pressure. It was satisfying for me to just watch and hear the popping sounds. I also got treated by Dr. Wyland, and I felt he was gentle (never forcing anything) but able to release all the pressure in my back. Great experience and highly recommended! read more

TMJ issues and lower back injuries from sports and deadlifting/squatting were assessed and taken care of quickly. Recently, I injured my lower back while scrunching in a squat position and couldn't walk or sit without pain tingling down from my lower back into my hip and quad. At the first appointment, Dr. Wyland Luke took time to listen to my concerns, did x-rays, and explained how chiropractic care works since it was my first time going to a chiropractor. He did an adjustment on my first visit since I was in so much pain. Admittedly, I was skeptical and even a bit nervous, but already felt a little better. My husband and I planned a surf trip to Hawaii and unfortunately on the second day of our trip he got a minor, but worrisome injury while surfing, The waves were supposed to get bigger towards the end of our trip, so he was really bummed he may not be able to surf at all because of his back injury. I am glad I started coming here. The way I sit and stand are noticeably different than how they were before. My back is more straight, and I feel more in shape. "Maybe it will go away" is the first thing I noticed when I went in with a friend to Ke'ale Chiropractic to see Dr. Wyland Luke. I had a friend who threw his back out and couldn't walk, sit, stand pretty much do anything. He went to the doctor and was prescribed some pills to deal with inflammation. After a week of hoping the issue would correct himself, he was referred to Dr. Luke. Next time I saw him...high kicks, back flips... he couldn't do any of those before and he still couldn't! But!!! He could walk with no pain! One visit and an emergency adjustment is all it took to put him out of his misery! Since I always deal with back issues due to my desk job, I asked if I could tag along on his next visit. My First visit: Fill out information about yourself and history. Once you're done, you get some xrays to see what's really going on in there. Dr. Wyland Luke has great bedside manner and explains what he is doing every step of the way. Second visit/first adjustment: Dr. Wyland explains his findings coupled with the physical examination and a treatment plan is created to fit YOUR needs. **Bonus- you get your own FOB to scan in prior to your treatments. During my first adjustment, he zeroed in on a nagging pain I have had for years. Once he popped my neck/upper back area, a wave of...heavenly goodness went through my entire body! I have never experienced anything like that. So much pressure was released, he needed to turn the fan on high and point it towards me . After a cool down, he checked my hips, back, shoulders, it was very thorough.
