I own a Volvo S40 and they're known for having reoccurring issues when it comes to sunroof leaks. Since I've dealt with this before I knew I needed to unclog the sunroof drain, but I don't own an air compressor. I came here to see how much it would cost to clear out the tube using their air compressor and was told they couldn't do that. I was told for around $300 they could manually clear the tube. Typical mechanic trying to rip you off. Wouldn't recommend coming here, especially if you're a woman because they apparently don't think we know anything about cars. read more

LOVE THESE GUYS!!! A million stars. 100% recommend!!! Just had the 3rd service with them on my XC60 Volvo. Happy every time. You can trust them to tell you the truth about what needs to be repaired and for how much. I get repairs when needed and also regular maintenance/oil changes. Honest and great service!!! Ps- They recommend what actually needs to be done and then fix things the right way. I am happy with the pricing and feel I am paying a good price for the work done. Top notch service and work! I have found my new shop. Being new to the area, I searched for shops. Took my 2002 C320 wagon in, it was running somewhat rough and nearly stalls out at idle speeds. It being a Mercedes, I was fearful it was going to cost many hundreds of dollars. Nope. $130 including tax. The technician found the source of the problem and fixed it pretty quickly. The shop is manned by great staff: the two gentlemen who helped me (making the service appointment and day-of-service, I believe it was Pat and Craig) were terrific. So, took my car in less than 2 months ago for a squeak assuming a belt replacement is needed. They say, the pully's just need to be tightened and charged me $130 for an hour of labor...which whatever is fine. Bring it in Monday and tell them it's squeaking again and my window is having issues, and I got a coolant light that just came on. They say, the belt is squeaking because radiator fluid has been leaking on it and that the real issue is my clutch. I hadn't had a problem with my clutch and they said nothing about it 2 months ago. I pay $1400 for a radiator, new belt, new power window they said the belt issue was different than the last time so they aren't crediting the last time. Which is bullshit that's what I brought it in for to begin with. Then 3 miles into driving it my clutch is shot...really going from a squeaking belt to 4 major issues since they looked at it and they're saying the same issue I brought it in for isn't even creditable. Robbery and pretty sure they're doing things to make you keep bringing it in. I will be taking them to small claims court if they don't take care of this! read more

So, my wife's car failed the emissions test (stupid car). Blah blah blah, my regular mechanic is not AES certified, and he recommended this place. I trust his judgment, so I gave this place a shot. I called late one afternoon, and they got me in the next morning. By 10am that day, they had called me back with having identified the issue and recommending a couple fixes. The prices were very reasonable, and they were able to get things done that day. Awesome. One thing I really appreciated is that they went out of their way to save me time. They purposely had me fail the second emissions test so that I could register the car sooner (you can get a waiver to register your car if you've spent at least $150 on repairs, which I had). Once I failed the test, they cleared the fault codes in the engine so that I could drive normally. All in all, great mechanic and I'd happily bring my car back here again. Oh, and they had a check-in offer on Yelp, so I got 15% off the repairs. Score! read more

These guys are Awesome! The mechanic owns two older model Volvo's one of which is a 240 that he is rebuilding from the ground up. They explain everything in detail and love Volvo's! I found the prices very fair and they kept me informed of how everything was going with the car and showed me my old car parts afterwards. I found the guys to be very honest and straightforward and aren't to busy to address any questions you might have. They have done wonders for my 1983 240 that had been neglected for years by previous owners. These guys are my Volvo's new best friend! read more

Can't say enough good things about the service I received here. I brought in my Volvo for a sensor reading Transmission Service Urgent. We thought for sure we needed a new tranny, costing over $5k. They did all the diagnostics and even took it out to feel how she was driving. They suggested a flush out etc, costing way less. She is now purring like a champ! The manager, Craig was always calling with updates and very professional and nice. Thank you to everyone including the awesome mechanics! Yesterday was my first appointment for service with Turn Key Auto Service. I would have to say I am very impressed. My Toyota Tundra was not really running quite right and it was due for a 150K maintenance and I needed a new mechanic, so I thought I'd give them a shot based on their many good reviews. The reviews proved to be accurate. Good customer service and explanations of work completed and any recommended future maintenance. The pricing was fair at $400 for a laundry list of fluid changes and inspections. The real bonus was that although they didn't find that the truck was throwing any errors on the OBD, but perhaps the air filter replacement was what did the trick because the truck seems to run better and have a little more get up and go than before I took it in. Little extras they did that will save me time include a tire rotation and checking the air pressure. Friendly service at a fair price, what more can you ask for? read more

These guys are great. I cannot speak more highly of their customer service. I had two cars suffer catastrophic failures on me with in a month. I took them to turn key they looked at them and we decided that repairs weren't going to make sense and they were to be totaled. They didn't charge me for the labor to diagnose the vehicles. They also let me keep the vehicles in their yard for over a month till they could be towed away. I was down and having a rough patch and they helped me out. More importantly I was transitioning to brand of cars that they don't specialize in. Did they try to squeeze every little penny they could out of me on my way out the door. NO, they were true neighbors and kind people who let me work through the problems I was having. They always would pick up the phone when I called and were always keen to help. I've been taking my Toyota truck here, as well as my wife's Lexus. Always happy with the service and prices. I recently referred my mom here as well, as she drives an older Camry and had some car troubles, which ended up needing the car towed. She was expecting to pay around 800 for a new distributor assembly, however the bill was 200 after they repaired a wire and saved replacement of the whole part. This is a first rate repair facility. I took my car in to replace a power window motor one morning. They called me an hour later to inform me it would take two hours to get the necessary part, then they'll get on it. By noon, they called me back to say it was finished. I was astonished how fast they completed it, even though it took two extra hours to retrieve the necessary part. Not only that, but they performed quality work and did it for less than what my dealership quoted me for. Went there for software update. First attempt didn't work as hoped for basing on service bulletin from BMW. But the technician had an idea. Reset the adaptive thing of the computer that learns your driving style and bam... Problem gone. I was told to observe if it comes back in a few days and they'll check back with me. I'm surprised they're not charging me for updates and that is just really good customer care on the part of Craig. Kudos to their BMW guy Lindsay. He is good at what he does and knows what to do. We took a wholesale vehicle in for a diagnostic and was charged an outrageous amount for them to look at the car, tell us the same exact thing that we already knew. They pretty much looked at our car for 10 minutes at the most and handed it back to tell us that they had no idea what was wrong with it. Our go to auto guy didn't have the right machines to check my wife's suburban so they brought it to turn key. We called 2 times and they said that they couldn't duplicate hard start issue and said we could come pick it up. Went to pick it up and found that it had been parked in the eastern most part of the parking lot away from the more expensive cars that were waiting to be worked on. Even better, while it was there it had been broken into and stole the stereo system worth about $400. There awesome(not) customer service response was that they didn't think there was a stereo in there to begin with. Will NEVER recommend this place to anyone and can't wait for it to close it's doors! read more

Turn Key is the best auto repair that I have found. I got a quote from Les Schwab and It was just ridiculously high, $1600.00 I went to Turn Key to have them give me a quote. I dropped my car off and they drove me back to work . I got a call later in the day and they told me that there was nothing wrong with my brakes or my struts ! I had an initial good experience with this shop but never had a repeat performance. I have taken my car to them around 5-6 times for various things. The service writer has been repeatedly rude and condescending and they are expensive. I don't mind paying more money for good work and good customer service but the customer service is lacking at this shop. After a few tries to fix a problem with my trunk lid not opening, they said that the car must have been in an accident and I should take it to a body shop to fix the alignment of the lid. When the service writer was talking to me about this he talked down to me and made it apparent that he really didn't want to work on my car. I didn't leave the car with them but rather took it to a mechanic in Snohomish (who doesn't specialize in Volvos) and he quickly found that I needed a new electrical component and I was on my way for about $150. I understand that people make mistakes and sometimes miss things and I am very patient with that but there is no excuse for being condescending and rude. I will never take my car back to these people, not because of their technical skills but rather their people skills. read more

Needed a strange noise diagnosed. They discovered a very odd issue with rear shock (filled up with water). Charge to replace and install was lower than other area shops. They also said that brake pads were dangerously worn, and showed us the pads. Again, cost of replacement slightly lower than others, but they told us there was no need to turn the rotors, which other shops insisted on. They also pointed out a tire issue that they didn't have the equipment to fix, but wanted to alert us to the problem. All repairs done in one day, and we had a 15% coupon!
