People in the Navy say, "One f*ck up ruins a thousand atta boys". Respectfully, I just don't understand the communication break down with KM. I sent an email, texts about what I was looking to get done and barely any replies unless you were "plannin and plottin" of which is a red flag and kinda sketch to me. I was quoted roughly 3k to get a tune and stall torque converter install (not bad, right?). My wife scheduled the drop off with Tiffany, however, when we got there, Noah had no clue about the drop off (Is that how we do business now a days?). 15 - 20 minutes after vehicle drop off, I felt like KM pulled a bait and switch, we were now informed that the cam wasn't installed correctly (which I did take to heart) and it would take 8k to get in there and fix whatever was not right, KM didn't even bother to use an OBD II reader to check any codes. Didn't even bother to ask anything else in regards to the new rockers, new lifters, new springs, new oil pump, oil priming or the notes I sent a month ago about what I did or how'd I installed everything, majority of parts were new, for example, the BTR afm/dod/vvt delete stage 4 cam "Kit", new water pump with new alternator, tensioner, pulley, spark plug with new coils along with a granatelli thermostat to widen the Tune. I was under the impression that with a tune, they're supposed to fix all the air, fuel ratios and everything else when it comes to a tune, I wanted to get a low idle, around 900rpm but Noah just said, they tune it according to what it specifies (whatever that means). See uploaded video of the cam I installed at TDC and Torqued everything down to spec. They just quoted 8k, didn't even mention it before hand to save the trouble from coming all the way from Bremerton and spending 400 a tow (good thing we had insurance!). It's not difficult to open the front plate, check the markings take a look at the rockers and maybe the oil sensor bypass and I get it, backaches, soar muscles and dealing with chemicals, etc. Noah said that if I were mechanically inclined then I could do it, I admit, that motivated me. It was difficult to believe that the cam was installed incorrectly but I'll go half way and admit any fault but the markings were at TDC, the chain wasn't loose and I never removed the bottom sprocket. KM/Noah didn't mention anything about installing the stc, just hey we're going to have to go in there for 8k because it sounds wrong (so 10k all together). I mentioned to Noah about a broken exhaust header bolt on the passenger side, he said that I should of addressed that before hand. Well, they would of known about the sheared bolt if they read my email and maybe responded when I sent my notes a month ago. Could they have gone about it differently, possibly. They did refund my 200 dollar deposit, which is good and thank them for. I'm sure KM does good work. I love my truck though especially when I put sweat and bloody knuckles into it (Something Matt/KM should understand). Complete incompetency, and you're going to pay a lot for it. That's your takeaway. I took my 1991 Lincoln Mark VII in to have an auto to manual swap performed- an easy job even for a shade tree mechanic, or at least it was with the other auto to manual swaps I've had performed by shade tree mechanics. Not at Turbo Tech- they managed to milk it into an almost 30hr job...and still messed it up. Here's what I got back: A car that won't start when the transmission is in gear. Duh. They charged me an hour of labor to test drive the car, at most a 5 minute drive. Charged me another hour of labor to...recharge the battery. Yep, you're going to get soaked. Dangling control module under the dash prevented the clutch pedal from being depressed. The bracket the control module was supposed to be mounted on was left hanging by a single point and rattling. The center console was marked up and not even attached. Multiple plastic clips were broken off in whatever attempt they made to attach it. Stick shift boot was just hanging in space like a lost opportunity. This is how they treated a mint condition classic car with 34K miles on it. They plastered advertising stickers on the brand new transmission. Now when I look into my engine bay, I get to see a 10" bright yellow sticker. Genius. From the beginning, the front of the house manager put me in between the shop and the parts supplier. So I spent two weeks piecing together the parts, a job that would have taken him an hour, and I wound up buying things I didn't need. The manager was arrogant, hard to deal with, and could not compose a literate email. You can do better- literally, just call anyone else. read more

This shop needs to be shut down due to bad tuning and workmanship! vehicle came out worst than it went in! misfire codes and system failure due to improper testing! Body panels need to be realigned and paint chips from improper handling!!! I'll never recommend any of my friends there ever again! read more

I'm not sure how this place is still in business, apparently people are willing to put up with crappy ownership/management. I have a '01 Mustang that I needed some subframe connecters welded on under the car. In my search for a shop that can handle this job Turbo Tech was referred to me so on 7/27 I gave them a call, explained what I needed done and the receptionist assured me they could do the work as they've done I before. Great, I made an appointment for the next available opening, which was 8/25 and waited. On Wednesday 8/24 I called them to verify I was still on their books and the receptionist confirmed I was and that I should arrive at 9:00 am. 9:00 am 8/25 I arrived and while heading to the office I saw someone walking in the shop area. I went into the office where there was no one, took a step into the ship area to speak to the person I saw earlier and was greeted by an old guy asking "Do you own this place". I assume the old guy was George. I told him I had an appointment to which he complained that he already had enough work and asked what I needed done. I told what I need and he said that he doesn't "weld on chassis'" and that "the metal is galvanized". I told him his receptionist assured me they did this kind of work and all he needed to do was grind the area down to bare metal, to which he responded "I know how to weld", not sure what the complaint was about then. My wife walks in as she was going to give me a ride home since I'd be dropping off the car, asked what was going on, I told her what had transpired and the old guy said "well you can take your car somewhere else". I told him I would and left. Unless this person or shop has knowledge or ability that they only know, I would not recommend this shop. Besides the attitude it doesn't seem the right hand knows what the left hand is doing (or capable of doing). WOW, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS TO ANYONE. not sure where to even start worst decision I ever made to take my car to these clowns. Took a year to get my engine in my car back where my $25,000 MMR race engine smokes runs like shit won't idle right. A $3000 labor engine swap turned into $10,000 they boldface lied to me about stuff won't answer any questions now that I'm working on the car because they're not qualified. More time I spend looking at my car the more ridiculous it gets if you take your car here you will be sorry. !!These professionals are the best I've ever seen! When I gave them my c6z I was already 40,000 into the engine. They told me not to worry they would take care of everything. I was really skeptical at first because I had been burned really bad another shop before them. They not only fixed my car but they prepared it for what's next!! They definitely exceeded my expectations. Also the price was more than fair. A quick back story. I purchased an Engine from CNC MOTOR SPORTS. An lsx 427 with callies Dragon Slayer crank and billet connecting rods, Brodix BR7 heads, Crowler Rockers and so on and so on. Basically an engine built to easily handle 2000hp and 30 to 40 pounds of boost. After purchasing the long block I took it to a couple of shops to install the engine and finish the build. The first shop did what they could but, they didnt have the expertise to finish the installation. The second shop Corvettes Of Auburn claimed that they had the experience and expertise to finish the install but I quickly found out that they didn't. The put the wrong manifold on my LSX 427. An ls3 manifold!! The bolts were to long so when they started the car the extra long bolt hit the rod which in turn hit and broke a lifter. This put metal shavings all throughout my motor. Destroying a lot of my motor. TURBO TECH took the motor out and stripped it down to the bare block and rebuilt it from scratch THE RIGHT WAY!! Simply the best WORK/CUSTOMER Service I've ever experienced. They actually call me weakly asking me how my cars running. Unbreakable!! Just a bunch of good people. They care. Paid over $700 to have them dial in my new fuel injection which they epically failed to accomplish and will not make it right. On my way back to their shop my car literally shut down on the freeway and when I finally made it there the asshole wouldn't even talk to me. Don't use this company. Poor Customer Service. Waited 3 month for a message back, if messaging back via Facebook is inconvenient then let your customers know email or phone is better. Showing up to a shop 2 hours away is unreasonable if minor questions are needed to be asked. If answering questions is too much of a hassle then just say so. I'm sure the work here is good but saying one thing about "hard to get a hold of" turns into a whole talk trash thread/post about your potential customers then I'd rather not go to a shop like this as it shows true colors which is quite sad. Even going out of your way like " oh shoot I'll get back to you" or even "sorry about the late reply" anything is better than trash talking your potential customers. No one expected instant replies, a reply is better than none. This is my personal experience so anyone else's experience does not matter to me. Customer service is everything as I own two businesses so that's the way it is. read more
