I have been going here for ALL of my car needs for decades. Mike and his team are like the "Big Bros" that take care of you like family. Honest people with fair pricing. I don't even live close by but once you find a spot, just like a hairstylist or barber, you don't want to go anywhere else. Got my brakes fixed with my Benz. It was making noise and so I had to get my pads replaced. I had another light on which I did not know why it was even lit in the first place. Mike told me it was my wheel speed sensor which was damaged. I didn't know what ABS system malfunction was but found out it's common with my car. I appreciated a full inspection because cars are dangerous and we got to leave it to the experts. I trust them to give it to me straight, Mike does not sugar coat things. I think that's the reason why some people get sensitive and think all car mechanics just try to scam you! I would much rather know what needs to be done and then figure out how to get it up and running again. They have Vietnamese and Spanish speakers. read more

Went here for an alignment on my 2021 Audi A5 after getting it lowered. Mike is super friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive. I got quotes from around the area for an alignment but many refused to take my car because it had aftermarket suspension and wheel spacers. I took my car to this guy to get a leak fixed. Long story short I ended up paying $500, "for him to fix it" and went back because it still was leaking and that cost me another $300. He ended up putting a dent in my car, free of charge. So $800, for never fixing the leaking Power steering fluid because it's still leaking, but he did fix my rocker arms. Replaced the AC compressor on my car with a cheap one and it broke already. I called and he said he won't honor the warranty because I purchased the car through someone else so I have to go through them. Even though he is the one that replaced the part and he is responsible for the warranty. Ridiculous. He didn't even want to hear anything I had to say or ask about he kept cutting me off telling me to stop talking before I could even say why I was calling. Most cars reach an age where they are no longer worth fixing at dealership markup prices and may or may not be worth your personal labor to repair. My family has been working with Mike for years and once our cars are too old or OEM parts are just prone to fail this is where they go since not all dealerships are willing to install non-OEM parts to our preference. (Acura's, Honda's, Toyota's) What I really like about Mike is he shows us the parts we need and even lets us order them then bring it to him. However, we accept responsibility when the parts do not fit. It's the step my family takes towards being able to make sure quality parts are used in repairing our vehicle even when trying to be thrifty. He can even recommend good manufacturers to use. We did this with our batteries we bought from Costco right by his shop. We even brought in our own struts to repair our Acura. We used a mixture of both OEM and aftermarket parts but I was able to hand select the manufacturer and the part like I was in a grocery store picking out apples. Pretty soon we're going to bring one of our cars for an oil change and supply our own jug of Royal Purple Synthetic. Not a lot of other mechanics let you choose the parts you want or bring them in yourself but with Mike all you have to do is ask in advance. read more

These guys can't be trusted! We went for an oil change and none of the fluids were checked. The compartments were left completely empty We went again for a tune-up and tried to charge us an extra $16 even though we have been going here for over 5 years. Overall, we are aware that most things rise in cost but please beware of crook mechanics and those who try to sneak unnecessary charges onto your bill thinking you won't notice. Also, check your car out before you leave the establishment otherwise you will be surprised that an oil change which usually comes with fluid check has not been performed. read more

I have a 2004 Chevy Avalanche that I took in for an oil leak. I paid over $750 to have my oil pan gasket , timing chain cover gasket and valve cover gasket changed out. Well ... happy that my truck was fixed, I leave straight from work to pick up my truck. MIke stunk like hard liquor and was slurrrring to where I could barely understand him. I already had some doubt...... I get home after picking up my truck and it still has a small leak. When I take it back to the shop, the owner seemed irritated that I brought the truck back. He explained that it was actually leaking from the power steering gear box. I took it to the Ochoa bros since they quoted me a better price than this place to repair the power steering leak. The power steering leak , which was small, was obviously fixed but I still had oil leaking from the oil pan area. I took the truck back to Tune Ups Inc and asked that he checked my truck . I still had a "so called " 6 month guarantee backing the service, and my truck was still leaking oil less than 3 months from the initial repair. Since Mike is being shady and not owning up to his work and his word, I decided to take the truck to the dealer to get their diagnosis before going back to Tune Ups INc and asking for him to fix the issue I had initially paid for. I already knew he would try to weasel his way out of this one so I wanted to make sure i was ready. Just like I previously explained to Mike , its the oil pan that is still leaking and I demanded he fixed it. I was not asking for anything free. JUST FIX WHAT I PAID YOU FIX TO BEGIN WITH!!!!! Now, Mike was really trying to play me for a fool and while looking like an even bigger fool proceeds to tell me the leak was not from the oil pan but now the oil is leaking from the intake manifold gasket , which Is really rare and the biggest joke..... just like this shop. The mechanic at the dealer pulled out real tools and clearly pointed out where the fresh oil was leaking from and it definitely was not from the intake manifold gasket or anywhere near. Mike had a $1.99 flashlight trying to show me this old oil spot and still tried to persuade me that it was the manifold gasket. After exchanging some words and me obviously being pissed off, Mike reluctantly agreed to repair my truck under the bogus guarantee. He had me leave my truck for another whole day and told me he would replace the oil pan gasket but if it still leaked that he didn't want me to bring it back.... SERIOUSLY!!!!???? i still had my receipt with months remaining on my guarantee..... MIKE YOU ARE A STRAIGHT THEIF AND INCOMPETENT AS A MECHANIC!!!! Guess what? It is still leaking , you obviously did not repair anything , once again. I got home after leaving the shop which is less than 5 min. drive and my truck was already leaking.....WTF!!!! I've had it with this A$$H0le !!! biggest waste of money and time. Pay the extra money and have it done by professionals. I wish his father in law would have left the business to someone that is honorable and not a rat theif!!! I STRONGLY BELIEVE IN KARMA AND IM SURE YOU WILL ONE DAY I HOPE YOU HAVE YOUR DATE WITH HER. Came to this shop to get some work done. After picking up my car and taking it home. I noticed the passenger front door handle was glued together like one of the mechanics broke it and tried putting it back together. When I called to talk to Mike about this. He got very defensive and started yelling and being disrespectful over the phone. There were oil mechanic finger prints all over my passenger door from when his mechanic worked on my car. I told him I would bring the car back to show him but he proceeded to tell me I can bring it in and show him but he won't do anything about it. He asks his mechanic that worked on my car about my door handle and he straight lied to my face saying that he didn't touch that door even tho the oil fingerprints were all over the door and door handle. So just a heads up if you plan on doing business with this shop. Don't get me wrong. My family and I have coming to this shop for years. Sad he would want to lose years of business for a $20 door handle. read more

Zero stars. .... This place is a joke, they do not know what they are doing. I bought a ford explorer the seller claimed it was a good suv, and that it had a rebuilt transmission with a warranty with this shop the owner is his friend. So after a couple 100 miles the car stated to shift really hard. So I took it into mike. He keep it for a week then called for me to pick up. When I did I noticed a loud ticking sound from near the transmission I brought it to his attention and of course he played dumb. Telling me to take it home and drive it. Well after researching I decided not to drive it and take it back in he acted very annoyed. So another week goes by and I go back to pick up. Once again it starts to shutter shift, and they put a dent in my car. Well now my car is leaking tranny fluid and is in another transmission shop. $2500 mabey more. This rebuild transmission that Mike put in lasted less than 1000 miles. They are rude, careless, and greedy. They do not care about quality work. Never again will I go there. read more

I have been going to Mikes shop since 2007 (has it really been 10 freakin years!?). The guy is very honest, and he stands behind his work 100%. His prices are competitive and negotiable, and he will work out payment plans on occasion for regular customers. In 2011, Mike dropped a used transmission in my 2002 Toyota Corolla. It failed in 3 days, and he replaced it free of charge in one day. The person who I sold the car to is still driving on the same transmission 6 years later. 20 dollar oil changes brought me into his shop, and his reasonable prices and good service has turned our relationship into a friendship.
